This is a good starting point to get the highest quote possible. I came here based on Google reviews. I took my car in that had an oil leak and the owner didn't even look at the engine, barely checked underneath the car and said, oh yeah your going to need a new transmission. This was his offer, pay $1200 to fix the leak (with no warranty) and he told me my car was trash, he wouldn't have paid money for it and to pay $3400 for a new transmission. I said thank you and walked away. I got it fixed at another shop for $600 with warranty. The mechanic said the car is perfectly fine. I hate leaving reviews but I feel that I need to protect people from these type of businesses. Imagine someone coming in here and taking his word. You will overpay and have unnecessary inconveniences in your life. I recommend to use this place as a quote (maybe you'll catch them on a not so money hungry day) and just go to people who won't run their mouth more than your car. Lord I forgive them, bless them anyways.

I would give them a 20 star rating if I could. Carlos takes pride in his work. He asked what I used my truck for when I told him I hauled a large travel trailer he upgraded parts and showed me the parts, very satisfied.DO NOT go to University Dodge Ram unless you want to get screwed! They charged me $2,100 analysis fee to tell me they could not fix my truck, no parts or completely new transmission, all on back order with no estimate on availability. Carlos told me he could get everything he would need, and he did.

The owner Carlos is very professional, honest , and delivers your car back very fast. His work is A+++. I wouldn't entrust my car's transmission to anyone else. Great customer care!!!

BIG SCAM! , over the phone Carlos informed me an inspection needs to be done . I let him know the problem I was having which was My car wasn't going into drive at all ONLY REVERSE! The moment I dropped My car off He gave Me a price range from $1200 to $1500 depending on how bad My transmission is. After a couple hours He calls Me and tells Me it would be between 2600 to 2800 (No set price, which was the first red flag) then he adds , "Oh, by the way the price will change tomorrow and the days after. So there's no telling how much it may be next time!" (The second red flag)!!! Mind you, On my way to pick up the car I called and asked Him to start My car so when I get there I can just drive off (especially since he said his workers were in a rush) The moment I get back there , Carlos including his workers were literally just drinking Beer and was being very Pushy about the prices changing , I guess in hopes of Me giving him money right then and there (Money Hungry!!!Another Redflag) I literally sat in the parking lot for about an hour before driving off, instantly My car felt worst ! And wouldn't go in Drive or Reverse at all!!!! He said they put something on it , and im guessing that's what made it worst ! NEVER EVER AGAIN I wouldn't recommend their services to anyone !!!Service: Transmission

What a scammer I was referred by one of his mechanic friend , He was in the bathroom for 20 minutes , what a Big scammer to put couple screw on its $125. And said the job it s between $1800 -2000 . Carlos roast about other competition it s a total rip off and lastly I ask him about to write an receipt and he refused than asked what was the price again ??? In the end he said I will write in a white paper what they done and $125 . the mechanic is commission only. While they just stand around .

Carlos & his team are very knowledgeable & friendly! My transmission is night & day difference, so smooth & yet firm, no shuddering or weird noises! Top notch guys! I d refer them any day!

I've used C&S transmission many times in the past. Great company and super fast service. Although this time I called several places to get an estimate and they were almost 900 dollars more than a new heavy duty transmission with 5year 100,000 mile warranty. The quality of work they do is spot on but the transmission cost is more than what the truck is worth.

I like to read reviews and make a decision if I'm going to use a particular place to service my vehicle. I called C&S transmission. I spoke to the owner Carlos. I decided to take my 2005 Nissan Alitima to C & S tranmission. They quoted me a fair price which beat his competitors price. Plus they gave me a 12 month warranty with the service. His son even told us if were having any problems do not hesitate to stop by the shop for help. Now that's the way you do business and keep business. I will refer my family and friends to C&S. Thanks for the great Service.

Carlos ( the son) took care of our tranmisson for our Chevy, Silverado 2001 same day. He was professional and honest. He answered our questions and really took the time. The Big Cuban Scam. Prices start at $2000. When another mechanic fix it for $300. If you go always you need a new transmission. .

Carlos replaced the transmission in my son's Mustang. He delivered on time and exactly as quoted. We've been back a couple of times for adjustments and he stands 100% behind his work. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Took my 11 year old Acura there with several transmission problems and CST recommended a transmission rebuild, which I agreed to. The price was fair, and the job was done fast (1 day). When I picked up the car, the transmission was working 100% with all problems gone. However, the tire alignment was off for some reason, and I went back to CST to ask what happened. CST said they were not sure how it could have happened, but did not argue, deflect or deny any wrongdoing, but instead offered to perform a full four wheel aligmnet. This was done immediately at the shop next door, and CST picked up the tab. Now the car runs and steers like new.

C and S transmission is #1 Carlos is a badass he s the only one I would let touch my vehicle. Been going to Carlos for my transmissions for 20 years I give him the keys the morning and I pick it up later that day. PERFECTION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Liars ,stay away. They wanted $150 dollars to check transmission fluid on a closed tramsmission system. really! 150 for 20 minutes. Told me take 2 guys and extended labor. You tube showed 20 minute job in driveway. 1 bolt, 1 guy. I walked out. Beware. They could have just said no they didnt want to mess with it. They didnt have to lie. You tube it, liars. ISUZU TROOPER.

Best transmission shop around towed my bronco from Lake Placid Florida brought it to Carlos so he can repair it because I would never let nobody else do it he s the best for the job honest great price fast job .
