I was traveling home from California. My cv axle goes out in Mississippi. I try to drive home made it to fl before I stopped. I stop at Milton fl pep boys they fix me up and get me back on road. Not too pricey and excellent service. I will go back if I ever need to

The team at Milton< Florida Pep Boys came through with superlative service once again. We went in with a suspected tire air leak and the discovered a major problem with the axle seals and bearings. They did a lot of work on a difficult repair and chjarged us a fair price. They are my favorite shop.

This shop is the ONLY shop I take my car to. I currently live on the west side of Pensacola and still take the 25 minute ride to Pep Boys in Milton to see Alex and company. So many times they have went above and beyond doing things for me most shops would not. Its fast, friendly, and professional service you can always count on! Thanks for making car trouble seem so cool! You guys rock!

We called in to the Pep Boys on east 90 in Milton on a Sunday morning. We'd been having trouble with tires losing pressure and the car was riding kinda wonky. The guy on the phone was pleasant and told us they could probably look at it soon if we dropped it off. We did. They found three nails in two tires and made the repairs. Service was quick, inexpensive, and convenient. We will return in the future for other car service needs.

My daughters car was taken in this shop in June for an ignition coil and to change the spark plugs, they charged her $700. She had another ignition coil go out, I took it to a different shop for $240. Only difference is they did not change spark plugs. I went back to pep boys to find out why prices were so different to be told by the guy behind the counter that EVERYONE gets charged different prices. I filed a complaint with corporate, called back a few weeks later to find that they decided we were not overcharged we were actually discounted . They didn t even have the decency or professionalism to call me back with the outcome. Save yourself money and regret, and choose another shop to have your vehicle worked on!

Made an appointment but wasn t honored. Car wasn t looked at until 8 hours after. Quote was over priced. Decided on only oil change, spark plugs and tires rotated. Spark plugs ended up being too much and told them nevermind after realizing car was still sitting out in parking lot and was lied to telling me it was too late. That somebody had already started on it. After picking up the car, realized the tires were never rotated like requested. Car didn t get worked on until the next day mid day.

Once a reliable haven for our small fleet's automotive needs, Milton Pep Boys has regrettably plummeted from its former glory. Years ago, I would have enthusiastically given this establishment a five-star rating for its service and integrity. However, recent experiences compel me to issue a stern warning to potential customers through this one-star review.Our trust in Milton Pep Boys was severely misplaced a little over a year ago when we brought in a van suspected of having a rear main seal leak. Despite our diagnosis, the staff at Pep Boys assured us the issue was with the oil pan gasket, along with some minor repairs. Trusting their professional judgment, we agreed to their recommendations. The van was promptly repaired, paid for, and returned to service. But this trust was short-lived.Just a few days later, a distressing call from our employee revealed the van had suffered a catastrophic engine failure on Scenic Highway due to the ongoing rear main seal leak. We had it towed back to Pep Boys, where their solution was merely to credit the previous work against the cost of a new motor. As a small business owner, time is a luxury I cannot afford to waste. Consequently, we grudgingly paid the difference to get our van back on the road swiftly.This incident, however, has left a lasting impression of Milton Pep Boys as a disreputable business. Their response to our grievances was lackluster, showing little to no remorse or justification for their actions. It is my firm belief that this establishment engages in dubious practices to extract money from unsuspecting customers.In conclusion, if you're seeking an honest, reliable, and accountable auto shop, Milton Pep Boys is certainly not the place. Their error not only cost us thousands of dollars but also shattered the trust we had in their service. Buyer beware!

I had my serpentine belt fall off while out trail riding and limped my jeep to the nearest pep boys (about 15-20 miles). Steve and Shawn were amazing. Figured out the problem, ordered the part, got her up and running in less than an hour. In addition to being pleasant and funny! Excellent experience!!

Alex and Austin went above and beyond to ensure I was back on the road after a blowout! They had my rare tire in stock and stayed past quitting time to take care of me! I am so appreciative! Edit: I came back due to my previous experience! Alex had my paperwork ready to go and kept me informed with phone calls. Jeff made sure I wasn t paying for anything I didn t need. Jordan made sure I claimed my old tire that didn t have much wear on it.

Had an appointment for 8am to have my tires rotated, balanced, and then the front-end aligned. The shop opened up exactly at 8am and my car was immediately taken in. The entire work was done in about 45 minutes (or less) and my car drives very smoothly on the freeway now. It did have a slight shimmy at 70mph but that is no longer there and there is no pulling left or right. I am a completely satisfied customer.

Steve was amazing, and ensured I knew what was going on and got the repairs needed. Shawn, the mechanic, also made sure that I knew what was needed and why. Would recommend and return.

They got my car serviced very quickly and I had my car back in a little over 2 days, even with them ordering a part. That said, I was quoted just shy of $500 by Alex, with the mechanics having a $143/hr rate. I was confused as to how it ended up so high, he explained that there is a $99 diagnostic fee, which was not disclosed to me in person or over the phone. He gave me half off that which was great, then added they also have a military discount. I went in, got a paper copy of the quote, another employee called Alex to confirm there wasn't a charge for transmission fluid because they had extra in the shop, so they would include it, everything lined up with Alex's number before tax. I go back after my car is serviced, go to pay, and I come to find out it was another almost $100. I asked about the military discount that Alex told me, this employee told me it would void the other discounts. The employee seemed to not want to be there or discuss it with us, so we paid and left. I compared it to the quote I had at home, and it turns out their hourly rate was $155, not $143. They also charged me for the transmission fluid, which I was not told about, since they told me it was included the day before. It brought it up almost $100 more than the quote, but I was not told this information before I picked up my car. Very dissatisfied with the lack of communication when something was added and the attempt to hide fees in my transaction.

Five Stars-Highly Recommended I d been comparing tire prices for a few weeks before finally deciding to go with Pep Boys.Firstly, the ease of getting a very transparent pricing from them was outstanding. Nothing hidden no surprises. Everything clearly laid out.Secondly, if I had to decide solely based on attitude and friendliness, I would have gone with Pep Boys at the very beginning. Ryan was always very friendly and eager to answer any questions and offered to get me scheduled immediately. He clearly explained the process and once again, no surprises.Thirdly, the final deciding factor, and the proverbial nail in the coffin, was that Pep Boys is nationwide. I was purchasing these tires for my daughter visiting here in Milton, and she lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado. How very pleased I was to know that the warranty I purchased here on her tires would be honored at any Pep Boys and upon checking, there is one in Colorado Springs. Wow!Overall, I was extremely impressed with the whole experience of Pep Boys, and especially the very knowledgeable sales rep, Ryan. Thanks for all the help Ryan! You made the whole process pain-free.

Alex and his team at this location do a fantastic job and have only ever suggested repairs that were necessary. They have worked on 4 vehicles for me over the years and have always done a fabulous job. On one occasion, I had a cooling fan that needed to be replaced in my car, and shortly after replacing it, it stopped working. I called the shop and they had me in that day to replace it free of charge. There is a good reason why their parking lot is always full!

Went in for certain. Tires didn't have 3. So I said can you give me a deal since you don't have the ones I ask for. They really couldn't but gave me 15% off. But still spent over $650 for 3 tires. Wasn't happy. But I needed for trip and they knew this. Spent 2.5 hrs there.

Unlike many local repair shops that have you leave your car until they can get around to it, they gave me an appointment, finished the work before the end of the day and charged a reasonable price. They have repaired my cars many times with the same great level of service!

Great service, Toni was very knowledgeable and provided me with excellent feedback.They quickly assessed the issue and conatcted me with a full/detailed report and a quote for the repairs.Once agreed upon, they worked on the problem and the car was ready in a timely fashion.

Steve and Austin literally saved our day and kept my mom safe! She had a punctured tire on a Sunday of Memorial Day weekend! Pep Boys was packed! Steve and Austin were so thoughtful to work her in and get her tire fixed so she wouldn t try and drive back to Pensacola. They had us in and out in about an hour! Can t say thank you enough! She is a cancer patient and has treatment tomorrow and will be able to get there safely thanks to these guys! Great service and very friendly!

Over a hour for a oil change and was told it was running rough and my engine light was on and I needed to take it somewhere to be fixed. No idea what it was till I took it somewhere else
