It may be far from Jacksonville and other places but Sam and Kyle take care of your vehicle like it s there own. Which is getting harder to find nowadays. Up front, transparent, and knowledgeable. You can rest you won t be ripped off and they are always fast!

As a retired AC-Delco employee serving many independent and corporate auto repair shops over many years, I can say this one I am comfortable using again. I sense they are reputable and honest and have your concerns at heart. They do good work and are priced reasonably. Brought my suv in the other week. Had an issue running that was intermittent. Had several codes that I've been ignoring until I had no choice. The guys replaced the things necessary and now it's running smooth and quietly.But that's not all. I had replaced my water pump and thermostat housing 3 years ago. Bought a cheap part because I was in a pinch. The guys noticed that I was a gallon of coolant low and they began looking around. They identified that the pump was leaking! I was damn near about to blow a pump and be stuck on the side of the road. Anyways, got it all replaced and new belt etc... the new waterpump was faulty right out the box lol. Took it back, and the guys took care of it right away. Checked a bunch after many test rides to ensure everything is as it should be. And it is. The guys didnt try to upsale me or tell me to throw the whole car away like most shops do lol. They pointed out issues I've been ignoring. Told me before doing any work, and upon me approving the work they had it done asap.Beyond the workmanship, they were polite and courteous as well.Anyways, highly recommend. I'll be using them from now on.

I took my truck in to diagnose an issue with not starting and get it back on the road after sitting for quite a while. He was quick to get it running and took care of several other issues he identified. He communicated every step of the way and was extremely fair with pricing. It s an older truck and I m sure many shops would have tried to find a million things wrong and charge so much it wouldn t be worth fixing. He knew what I was trying to do and did an excellent job getting me back on the road. It s hard to find honest shops anymore so I m glad I found Sam s and will definitely recommend them to anyone needing work done.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Battery, Oil change

This is my second time at this establishment and i can honestly say i m always pleased and appreciative with the maintenances on my jeep. The diagnostics are always accurate, prices aren t exaggerated and the job always gets done on time! Sam is always straightforward with addressing whatever problem the vehicle. Sam and his his son, Kyle, are super nice. I am ever grateful for having discovered Sam's earlier this year. Went back again. Same great service! They are meticulous. Many people refer others to Sam. Me nor my mother is ever taking another vehicle to this place again. Another classic example of never finding the issue and charging high prices. I took my jeep there twice to find out why overheating was an issue, small request (first time was $600) problem not solved. But it came out worse and worse each time, my electric stopped working ($400 for sensors to find out why), then I couldn t even drive it because it overheated so bad (overheated in about 2 hours of driving before, now it s 5 minutes) how convenient for their pockets. Glad I didn t take it there a third time! Wish I would ve gotten the positive experience everyone s saying. I don t think it should take $1,100 to find out why it s overheating, very unprofessional and three trips?? Great place to loose all your cash as hard enough to live as it is currently in the world during the virus, but hey it s not their life s to ruin! 2 checks down the drain. I suggest a commercial mechanic you ll save tons trust me, first visit problem found, fraction of the cost. Continue life instead of being caught on a pole while they reel in cash.Service: Engine repair

I recently dropped my car off on a Thursday night. It was finished the next day. I had an ABS light on forever, took it to 3 different places everyone fixed something 600 -700 every time. Have had AC issues, which is the reason I took my car in, no AC, gets my attention fast. Sam fixed it and my ABS problem a week later everything is still awesome and both costed me under 500 dollars. He said the ABS thing was just a simple fix and quite obvious. Not to anyone else not even a Chevrolet dealer. Hmm. Kudos, Sam, your honest and fair, I am so glad I found you! LADIES listen up if you want someone to shoot straight with you, Sam's your Man! Thanks a bunch!

This shop is border line fraudulent. I gave him and his son a chance because of the great reviews, which were obviously from friends or just ignorant. I literally got my vehicle back in worse condition than I gave it to him. I am somewhat mechanically inclined and know my way around my vehicle fairly well. When I don't have the tools, time, or am unfamiliar I will take it to a shop. Sam was not forward with me, he spoke as if he was just checking a thing or two. In reality I was being charged for things such as spraying cleaner ($80) and things I confirmed with him that I was aware of already. The main disappointment was believing he gave me a "full tune up" but when I picked my truck up, he was tongue tied on why he didn't change my trans fluid (came with the tune up, didn't happen). I wouldn't trust these people with any vehicle. I was content with taking them to civil court, but for 500 bucks he can keep his empty lot. Firm believer of an eye for an eye.

I know inflation is up the roof but paying $300.00 for an oil change and tire rotation is not what I expected from a family owned business. Especially for a 2011 VW Golf. Not even Mercedes charges that much for service. Used to think he would be the last mechanic to rip me off but I guess I was wrong. I went into Sam's for engine work. Sam was very thorough and very pleasant. His prices were very fair and honest and he gave me straight forward answers to my questions, even recommended work to be done that could save me time and money in the long run. If you have been burned by dealerships and chains like I have, you will be happy with Sam.

A rare HONEST mechanic. I usually do all my own maintenance and upkeep on all my vehicles. I had to change a timing belt on my daily driver (Civic), and I had absolutely no time. I took it to Sam's and I have become a lifelong customer from now on. He was very honest with what needed to be repaired (or what didn't). He kept all the replaced parts to show me all the things he replaced (waterpump, gaskets, etc). He's also pretty spot on with the estimation of cost and how long it should take.I strongly recommend using him for your vehicular repairs. I've even seen a guy drop off a motorized bicycle and when he picked it up, it was running like a champ.

Great guy and great Place. First time to meet Sam , he took car and with in an hour he called me and gave me a quote. I called him back said sounds good fix the car. from drop off to pick up of my car was like 10:30 am to 3:00 pm drop off to pick up...than you.......

Sam's Certified Auto is awesome, he and his family run a top notch shop. They have worked on mine and my family's vehicles for years and we have never received anything but the best. He and Kyle are the only ones that work on my vehicles because they are great and honest people and know their way around a motor, if your wanting a job done right the first time go see them. If Ya Aint First Your Last! Our family cannot thank Mr Sam, Mrs Teresa and Kyle enough for keeping our rides rolling!

I've used Sam's serveral times back when I owned a jeep, he did a excellent job every time, affordable, respectful,, couple times the bill was actually lower then what he quoted,, my Jeep was constantly breaking down,, one day while I was there the fan, and heater core went out while it was running in his drive way,,, my Jeep broke down so many times I got to know him pretty good!! Good man,,,I'd use him again in a heartbeat.

Owner was pleasant, courtesy, very professional, showed me what they did . He also take picture of whats being done to yiur car if you was to drop it off .. I've been there a couple of time and it was over-all a good experience

Sam and his son have always been honest and up front with me. My car gets fixed in the time frame they say and for the initial price I am given. Pretty much the only people I trust to work on my vehicle

Sadly after having entrusted this place for honest repairs for several years, they have apparently decided to be dishonest and untrustworthy. Had a simple brake light switch replacement and they managed to bilk $188.86 bill. Amazingly $1.14 below the $190.00 "so called" maximum of $190. I guess they forgot about State Law, along with whatever morals they presumably had.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance

Amazing people amazing experience with the best prices in jacksonville! I've been going to Sam's for 3 years and been stress free about my cars maintence for the same amount of time! I go on a lot of road trips with my 1992 gmc vandura and I always take her to doctor Sam before we head out. He informed me on my vehicles limitations on inclines. How to keep the transmission running strong with proper care and has answers to any questions and concerns. This shop isn't filled with pep boys mechanics right out of school these are people who grew up with a love and passion for cars and their community and there work shows it with a price that never breaks the bank

I recieved excellent service from Sam and Kyle I was apprehensive due to the fact I've never paid someone to work on my vehicles since 1998. With a tech background I've never needed someone. I ended up in a bind and had no choice. I gave Sam a shot and was more than pleased with the service.

Great mechanics there and very honest. They found the issue with our 1985 Nissan 300zx in great time and for a great price. We just couldn t figure the problem out, but they did. I would nightly recommend this place..

Wonderful place to have an honest assessment on what your vehicle needs. You wont get any shady estimates here, only an honest assessment of your vehicles needs. Sam's is a place you can trust. I have been bringing vehicles there for years.

He is a great mechanic. They are very honest. He quoted me for fixing my wheel bearing. When they got into it is wasn't it so they didn't fix it. They just fixed the problem. Saved me hundreds of dollars. We will continue to go back. They made a customer for life.
