I had a catastrophic transmission issue,The drive shaft came out at the transmission end, while driving. On my 01 ford 4x4Causing major damage.Clay transmission went above and beyond to fix all the damage, I am so thankful to know that there is still a locally owned company, that cares about the people that live in there community, I give them a10 on a10 scale, and will definitely recommend this Company.AS CLAY COUNTY'S BEST.HANDS DOWN.

I had my transmission rebuilt. They said 3 days to do the work and I picked it up on day 3. Works great. The lady that runs the office was great help. She explained what was being done and kept me.updated. All in all it went great. Thanks.

I WILL NEVER step foot in an establishment this shady ever again, not even a month ago I brought my truck in for a cel and trac control light as well with the two codes it was saying, clay county transmission insisted to state it needed an entire rebuild even though it was two codes from the valve body,fast forward I haven t even had my 2 week check in and the problem has already came back, and I m not even going to begin in the awful communication and management this facility has.

I have a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder that was built with a defective CVT Transmission. The transmission started to skip . I hoped it wasn t the defect so I took it to Clay County Transmission and had them check to make sure it wasn t just a fluid issue. They confirmed it was the transmission and gave me a break on the charge. The bright spot in this gloomy situation was Tammy who works in the office. She very helpful, friendly, and sympathetic with my situation. Don t be fooled, there is only one Clay County Transmission and it s on County Road 220 on the border of Middleburg and Fleming Island.

Purchased a car from someone and they were aware because we went and picked up receipt for previous services and advised Rick we just purchased car and still heard noise he told us to bring it back so he could check it out,decided to go to Chevrolet instead because it was closer and didn't want to do any damage. Upon Chevrolet checking the parts Clay County transmission had just put on were the wrong size and another part was split in half, now all of a sudden "oh we don't transfer warranty" which was never mentioned before $1300 later for their F up! Terrible experience

Transmission went down on my Z-71 and the good men of Clay County Transmission got me back on the road...it cost me but I am extremely grateful for the timeliness and expertise of the owner and his mechanics...

I needed a flywheel resurfaced same day for a project and Clay County Transmission was able to get it done not only same day but called within 1 hour for pick up! Exceptional service!!

I m not a big review person, but had to give CCT 5 stars. My torque converter went out on my Silverado last month. I was out of town for work, and they called me for every update with issues, pricing, and time frames. I picked my truck up when I got back, and unfortunately it had more issues a few weeks later resulting in a tow from Jacksonville. Not only did they stand with their warranty and repair the truck at no cost, but they also refunded my towing bill since it was after hours and I couldn t contact them. That s true integrity that you don t hardly find now-a-days. I hope to never need to be back, but I certainly will if any of my vehicles moving forward have issues. I would have taken my truck here as I was referred by a friend that they do good work. However my friend hadn't been there in a while. When I asked for a quote on the phone to do a transmission flush, the guy on the phone said that due to my truck being slightly over the mileage that they recommend for a transmission flush, that they would not do it and my only options were to have a new transmission installed or rebuild mine for I forget how many thousand dollars. Are you kidding me?! Meanwhile the Clay Transmission in Middleburg on Blanding gladly did my transmission flush and said everything looked great. It has been a year since and my truck still runs great! Apparently this location though is too busy to do maintenance work and just want to rob folks of their money for something they don't need. Go to the Clay Transmission on Blanding in Middleburg, they are actually honest people.

So I live in Jacksonville on the southside. I spent close to $100 in towing to get my car to Clay Tramsmission. I have several friends that have went to this shop for transmission repair and rebuilds.If there was a way to give more than 5 stars I would. This is a very stand up business that will make sure you are informed and won't take advantage of you. They are very reasonable and there is no way I would go to any other shop. I would highly recommend this shop I took my vehicle to get 4wd checked out they diagnosed the problem quickly and gave the relevant codes to take to the dealership under a recall and service bulletin

These guys are AWESOME! They replaced my TCM, the wiring harness, and connector. This is all that I expected to be done, but when I picked up my truck, they had also fixed a leak in my exhaust, and my bumper which had been bent out of place from a fender bender. They did this additional work, and didn't ask for any more money or time. I was very pleasantly surprised!Service: Transmission

This is an outstanding place to get your transmission worked on. They deliver it at the price agreed. You will not get your car back until it's done correctly the first time. It's extremely rare to have an auto shop do exactly what they tell you they're going to do. Extreamly honest. Wish I could give 10 stars. They make you so important when they do your car.

Wonderful place. The proprietor I believe his name is Russ is an honest man. He diagnosed my problem has just a small part and instead of a $3,000 repair it cost less than $200. That was weeks ago and my car is running perfectly fine. My highest recommendation

Very unprofessional. They are very rude over the phone and don't listen to the issues you present. Insisted the issues explained were not a problem. Very short of words, doesn't explain anything. They also try to sneak in extra charges without talking to you first. Took to another repair place and all it needed was the transmission fluid replaced and its working like a charm.If you want an honest mechanic, this is not the place to go.

Said needed new $4500 transmission took to another Dealership had transmission fluid checked and replaced no issue with transmission had leak in hose. They replaced hose and topped off fluid 150 bucks. 10k miles later still running like a charm. This place even went as far as to say trade in my car. I would always get a second opinion when spending alot of money.

Very few automotive mechanics earn my trust. These guys are top notch and honest. No charge for today's work because it wasn't a transmission problem. Anyone else would have at least charged me an inspection fee of some kind. Jeremy comes from Hill Automotive which is the only other mechanic I trust.

I am still in the process of doing business with them but so far my experience has been awesome! I took my truck in for a torque converter problem. They found the torque converter bad and while they were taking care of it they investigated for other problem that could be caused by my converter being bad at no extra charge. Good thing they did so because apparently the last shop I had it at used shady work ethics and substandard parts not rated for the size of my truck during the rebuild which would of had me back to the shop if it wasn't taken care of now. Clay county was upfront about the issues and future problems that could occur. On top of that they are Freindly and helpful when asked questions.

Great company...they kept me very informed about my vehicle along with explaining what problems needed to be fixed and the costs involved in each repair. They also had my vehicle back a day sooner then expected. Very courteous and kind to deal with!

I have been using Clay Transmission for many years on all of my vehicles. When ever i buy a used vehicle i ALWAYS take it there first to have it serviced. They even serviced the transmission on my 26' Class C motor home! Highly recommend them to anyone for prompt reliable service.

Thought I had a transmission leak but they found it to be an engine leak. They were very professional and reasonably priced. This is the second time I have used them for repair work and would not hesitate to let them work on my car again.

I take my 08 f350, 07 Tahoe and soon my 08 f450. They are always great to work with and honest which is hard to find. if I had a friend that knew nothing about cars I would feel very comfortable send them here.

All I can Say is WOW. ..my Nissan Altima was having transmission problems so I brought in to have serviced. John was so helpful he said they will look at it and call me with an estimate and then drove me home. Soon after got a call it was John letting me know that the part was covered under warranty and nissan would repair for free! Super honest and friendly. ..I would recommend this place to anyone having transmission issus!! Made a bad experience great!! Thanks again John and clay county transmission! !!
