Omgosh best family shop ever! Took my car in for an alignment, and they were so friendly, family run business, which is the best ever because they put their heart and souls into it. Definitely recommend. it s a very busy neighborhood, however worth the drive. My car is super low and they were able to accommodate. My alignment came out perfectly! Highly recommend taking your car here. Thanks guys!

This is hands down the best repair shop I ve came across. Been looking for a trusted mechanic and I finally found my place where they can fix/do everything. Their professionalism is unmatched and has a nice family feel. Miguel is truly the best!

I take all of my cars here for alignment. They do great work and if you re not 100% satisfied they will do it again no problem. I also took my Porsche cayenne here for oil changes and brake jobs and they use all original parts from the Porsche dealer. I will continue to use them.

Made an appointment for a tire alignment, showed up and had me seen right on time. I was in and out in about an hour. Good pricing as well. No complaints, great service!

Mel and his daughters are professional, honest and very friendly. They are responsive and prices are fair. I highly recommend them. When my car broke down Firestone had it towed to a shop and it sat for a month, no call backs to Firestone or ourselves and we were quoted double the cost for replacing the entire engine. Firestone contacted Mel s Reset to tow the car from this dishonest shop to their shop where Mel found no reason to replace the entire engine only replace the broken parts which cost half the price. The car has been running great 3 months later. They offered 2 free oil changes and just had the 1st a bit early because the car was shuttering when stopping so took it back and it was that the throttle that was dirty which they cleaned at no additional cost. They could have said it was something else and charged us. They are the most honest auto repair folks and grateful to Firestone for introducing us. Quick, professional and honest! I came to the shop without appointment and the guys were able to take care of my car right away. Also, everyone had masks on which is important detail during the current times. Definitely recommend Mel's Reset and will be coming back from now on.

Mels Repair has extremely knowledgeable mechanics who were able to find me an affordable solution to my car issue. I called around several places to check prices and Mels Repair offered the best price. Very honest place and great customer service. I initially went for over heating and accelerating issues. From the beginning I ve wanted a diagnostic of the car to see what could be causing the acceleration issues. They did fix the overheating issue but I continued to experience accelerating issues and took it back. After the second time when I picked up my car I noticed a dent on my driver door. My car is older and in desperate need of painting I know this but I did not have that dent. The owner initially said he would take care of it since it happened while the car was in his care. I took it this Thursday to get the dent out (which the owner said would be quick) and by Friday we called to see if it was ready since they are closed on weekends and I need my car for work on Monday. It s been multiple days to get the car back each time. Now the owner stated it isn t his responsibility to fix it and that he no longer wants my car or my boyfriend s car back because he doesn t need them . I understand things take time and that they are busy. They continued to promise dates they could not meet. I continue to have the acceleration issue which I was ok just driving it for now since it was driving much better than initially. I was planning on taking it back at a later time when I could leave my car for longer. I really liked them and that they are a family owned business but the rudeness they just demonstrated and lack of communication is unbelievable. My car is older and I understand not many mechanics want to work on it. The owner was empathetic and assured me he would help since I ve had bad experiences. Just beware if you take your car. The cars are left outside their lots and who knows who hit my car. I m just disappointed and now have to pay someone to fix the dent that was caused on their watch.

Best Auto Shop I have ever had the pleasure of using! My car was almost completely totaled and had to deal with my insurance for the repairs. Miguel at Mel's Reset answered all of my questions, had the patience to speak to me during a 3 month period whenever I needed an update and assured my insurance paid out exactly what they needed to in order for my car to look brand new again! Honestly, one of the best places to get your car serviced in Miami. If you need anything from an oil change, to body work, Mel's is the place to go! Highly Recommend !

Took my ford transit connect here after 2 other mechanics couldn't fix it and gave me answers that didn't make any sense. Mel and his team were able to accurately diagnose the issue and repair it perfectly! My transit drives like it's brand new again. Highly recommended! This has been the best mechanic I have come across in a while. The staff is great (especially Jen) and my car is always fixed and reasonably priced. They are understanding and not out 2 scam people for every cent! I will continue to take my cars there. Visiting friends from out of town my alternator died stuck in the middle of the road, got a tow to Mel s Reset, recommended by bystander. Being a skeptic, I was very concerned going to an unknown shop but I was so impressed with Miguel s honesty, professionalism and pricingI may have to travel to Miami from where I live in Orlando to make him my regular mechanic. This mechanic is not sane. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I left my car for a reset and he kept it there for weeks. I understand there can be delays but I can t understand his rude manners when I would just call for an update. Rude just to put it nicely. We are talking about a sick violent person. He fixed my car after all but the experience was awful, we all deserve to be treated respectfully and this person knows nothing about respect.

As Always, very professional. They replaced my trans. Computer and a bunch of other stuff for a fair price and on a timely manner. From my household, this is the fourth car that they work on with the same quality service.

My car stalled and died while visiting Miami. I was in a huge rush to get it diagnosed and fixed without delay because I had a long drive home. Mel's Reset was recommended and I asked that my car be towed there. After explaining the urgency, the team was able to diagnose the problem, order the replacement part and get it fixed very quickly. They even drove to West Palm Beach to get the part to save time. I am very satisfied with the level of care and i strongly recommend their services.Service: Engine repair

This is my first time going to Mel's Reset, I had to go due too a flat tire. not only was the location right around the corner and easy to find but everyone at the shop is super nice and helpful. the tire change was fast and the owner was very generous, he held my car at his location until I had the time to pick it up since I work a 9 to 5.Going back for my next oil change! Miguel did an amazing job working on my Dodge Journey. It had extensive rear end damage and now my car is like new. He uses great materials and the staff is super friendly. Would highly recommend him for any car service.

Honest, reliable and excellent value for the $ - this is Mels Reset and specifically Mike it's owner. I've owned many cars and been to many mechanics (including some decent ones) but, bar none, Mike is the best and I leave confident that I repaired only what was needed and that I got the best possible price. This visit I was under a tight timeline and they diagnosed and fixed the problem very quickly. Importantly, their pricing was extremely competitive and they fixed only what needed to be fixed (my experience with other repair shops is they often go overboard). I hope my car never needs service again but, if it ever does, I'll be taking it to Mels Reset.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Air conditioning

This place gets my highest recommendation! Expertise, pricing, professionalism, trust, friendliness all receive a 10/10. Mike checked my car throughly and shared the details with me clearly.They tell you what's urgent and what's not. This is a huge factor. A mechanic that you can trust. I got my brakes fixed in the same day with a minimal wait time, and my car feels like it just came off the lot, brand new! I don't think a top dealership service center could compete with this place. Amazing experience!

Super nice guy! Had a power steering belt keep coming loose during our road trip and he was able to help last minute on our way down to the Keys. Honest and diagnosed the problems right away and even taught us how to fix the problem until we can get a permanent solution. Came to the shop to replace a dead battery by recommendation of my AAA roadside assistant. I was given fair and upfront pricing over the phone, and was able to come in immediately same-day. The service was quick, professional, and everyone in the shop was super friendly, especially Thor the office dog. I definitely recommend and will be coming back for any future auto needs!

They have amazing customer service! They took my car in next day when I had a gas leak. They changed my fuel pump and had it ready very quickly. I am going back very soon to have another part installed. Highly recommend and Miguel is amazing and worked around my schedule in order to figure out car drop off/pick up. I found my new mechanic!

I can't say enough about Mel's Reset! This place is thorough, honest, friendly and quick. From battery change, tire patch, oil change and lastly tire balancing with new tires, Miguel and his staff are top notch I highly recommend them and will gladly return!

Giving 1 star because 0 is not an option. After reading over some of the reviews on here I am convinced the majority are friends and family. Mel's reset was recommended to us so we chose them to service our company vehicles. The lack of communication form the owner and poor work ethic surprised me. The front desk never has an accurate update on the status of your vehicle and the owner is never available and hides behind his personnel. Dishonest and rude. After paying for repairs on one of our box trucks less than a month ago we had to have it towed to Truckmax and pay for repairs we were billed for a month ago from Mel's reset. They held our van for two weeks without a real explanation of what was wrong with it. Again we had to pick up the van they could not repair and drop it off at Planet Dodge so they can resolve the issue. I am a very fair person and I can always work with honesty. If they could not repair the vehicle they should have said so originally and saved us all time and money. The best way to keep accounts and clients coming back is communication and transparency. After lying to me on more than one occasion he decided he didn't want to communicate with me anymore. Every other time I called his front desk would make excuses for him. Very sad to see a business with such potential run by someone with such little care and respect for his clients. I recommend you service your vehicles anywhere but here.IN REGARDS TO MEL'S RESETS RESPONSE:LUCKILY I NEVER WENT TO THE SHOP PERSONALLY. MY TECHNICIANS DID AND THE BOTH TOWING COMPANIES I HAD TO HIRE TO RELOCATE THE VEHICLES TO COMPETENT SHOPS.Do better next time. Take the feed back and learn from it. No more excuses please.

Disaster place where I'll never take my car. They take FOREVER. Absolutely 0 communication where they need permission to fix the car as if towing it there wasn't enough to clue them in I wanted my car fixed there. Been weeks already & no car yet. They assured me car would be ready multiple times & always an excuse. Avoid at all costs
