I have been taking my Volvo to this workshop for more than 4 years. The attention is exceptional both on the phone and in person. Mrs. Lily always tries to solve your problem with interest and sincerity. The mechanic Jorge is VERY TRAINED, just by telling him what the car does, he knows a diagnosis in advance. I recommend this workshop with confidence. All the services they have given me have been excellent.Service: Oil change

If you own a Volvo in Miami, this is the place to go! Lily was tremendously helpful and accommodating, and Jorge has tremendous technical expertise working on Swedish cars. I am so glad that I found this place - they did a fast an easy oil change for me, in addition to replacing a broken sensor and fixing the fuse for my phone charger. It is really very reassuring to have found a place that is knowledgeable and passionate about Volvos in Miami, including older Volvos, like mine. I will be returning to David's Volvo the next time I have any issue with my car - Highly recommend for both quality of service and ease of access.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

After taking my Volvo XC90 2019 to a dealer that wanted to charge me an arm and a leg for repairs they could not even guarantee would give results, a neighbor referred me to David s Volvo, they diagnosed the car and got me a quote the same day and the car was ready for pick up the day after. The owners Lily and David were so welcoming, even made me a Cuban coffee while there. Service like this in todays day and age is hard to find. This will be my go to moving forward for my cars repairs and service.Service: Engine repair

Had an excellent experience here. The repairs were done timely and effectively at a cost that was significantly less than a dealership. Staff amd management were excellent to work with. Highly recommend!!

Davids volvo is family owned and operated. The mechanic Jorge is the head mechanic and has years of service on volvos and other vehicles under his belt. They will give you a fair price that's significantly better than any dealership. I have an 07 s40 with 125000 miles and it's still going thanks to them.

My experience at David's was 5 stars from beginning to end! The owners, Lily and David were professional, extremely helpful and friendly. Jorge set about diagnosing the issue I was having with my Mercedes. Upon finding the problem, Lily set about calling my dealership to inquire about any warranty or recalls available..so nice! There were none,but because of their customer service I was very confident that my car was in great hands!Go there! These people have been providing excellent ,quality service for 25 years! I will continue to go there for all my cars needs..and also the best Cuban coffee in town!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Great service, great attention, and most importantly attention to detail. I had my car back in the streets in no time! The mechanic Jorge was very informative and knowledgeable as to what was happening to the brake system of my car. I thought they only worked on Volvos but to my surprise they actually work with all brands, this came as great news because I own a Mercedez and not many shops work with my car. It s not often one can say I love my mechanic but that is my conclusion after numerous visits to David s Volvo reconditioning my 20 year old car. They understand Volvos so well you ll never replace anything that isn t absolutely necessary and they are kind, courteous and fair. I have always serviced my 2009 volvo at the dealership because I completely trust my service rep.and I prefer Volvo parts. Their labor costs have skyrocketed and I needed my A/C repaired. David s was recommended to me. I thought I would give them a try and I could not be more pleased! They not only treated me like family, they were informative, friendly and professional. Lily was great! I am so glad to have found a new go-to place for my Volvo.

I serviced my 2007 S40 at the dealer's until I was recommended by a friend to take my car to David's for a quote.Not only Lilly and David are experts but they are sweethearts. They fixed my car in no time. Fixed issues that probably were there for a long time and the dealer never found or decided to leave there to create more bills for me in the near future. They are also professionally affordable.My only regret is not knowing about them when I first got my car. Highly recommended!

Friendly, family run business-very knowledgeable with my older 1995 Volvo. I was treated very well. They did a lot of work on my car for a reasonable price. I will definately be back! Thank you Lily and David for taking good care of us!

Taking my experience of going to this mechanical shop today on 7/25/2017 as an example to all the Volvo owners looking for a trustful mechanic, this place is not a mechanic shop that's worth of your time spending there. I'm a 2015 Volvo S60 owner. This morning, I went to this shop, politely asking Jorge, an employee working there, if they could replace my car's front bumper air guide and the estimate of installing a rear parking camera. There was only Jorge at the shop. There was no customer at the shop except me, but Jorge did not pay much attention the first time when I asked him if he could take care of my car. Later, I went to him and courteously asked him if he could take a look at my car, yet he still turned away and started to chat with someone he seemed to know. Objectively, this is not the right way of how you value your customers especially when a new customers approach to you shop. I don't know how your auto parts and services are in terms of quality and reliability, so I don't comment on them. Lastly, sorry you just lost a new customer that could turn to a loyal customer.

The repair garage right off of Bird road, close to 826, is indispensable for anyone in the area who truly appreciates their Volvo and wants it to last. For maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and tune ups there is no other address than the friendly Martinez family at David's Volvo. I have never had a problem with my vehicles that they could not solve, and they never quit when it was time to locate parts of the highest quality and affordability. I feel confident that, no matter what, my vehicle is in good hands at David's Volvo and that gives me peace of mind. You can't put a price on that, not even an estimate.

We used David s Volvo Specialist, they had the car for 2 weeks and charged us $2k. Just two days later the engine is blown and the car is unsalvageable. Love David's Volvo!!! Family owned. Stellar mechanic. The owners wife is incredibly knowlegable about every aspect of a Volvo vehicle. Makes women like me feel comfortable taking my car there and she makes the best Cuban coffee. All in a friendly, respectful and trystworthy environment...oh and she takes her 3 gorgeous dogs to work.

So I wish I would ve came across these guys before I spent all this money at other places that kept giving me temporary solutions and high prices. I have a 2007 Volvo S60. I have 200k miles on it. I know you re thinking that s a lot and it is but if you take care of Volvos, they will run forever. My check engine light was on, gas was draining faster than normal, stuttering and having issues starting. I took it to several places INCLUDING DEEL VOLVO dealership. The people at the dealership were cool but them and everybody else could not tell me what was wrong and why my light was on. They told me nothing was wrong and that I needed a filter change. The change cost me $700 and it was fine for about 2 weeks and then issues again. The people at DEEL and a couple other places told me to just get rid of the car and I really was about to smh but I m glad I didn t. Long story short I come to David s Specialist and they had it for only a half day before they figured out all my issues and gave me good prices on everything. I needed a starter, pcv box, couple hoses, antenna ring, intake gasket and a filter along with giving me an oil change and my car has been driving without a hiccup EVER SINCE. I just don t understand how NOBODY else could tell me these things including the dealership. Thanks guys at David s Volvo Specialist. They re great Jorge is Doctor Volvo he knows everything there is about these cars he s very experienced and knowledgeable and he s always willing to share a tip to help you keep your car running properly the owners are very honest and friendly and have been in business for a very long time is always nice to come in sit down and have a chat with them great prices compared to the stealership my expectations have been met because of my previous visits to keep up with maintenance on my Volvo great people

Got a quote, they cleared some airbag codes no charge during the diag on my XC90 and offered me a Cuban coffee when I was in the garage. These people treated me like family on the first time coming here.
