Nice people but look at the gunk that is left in the tires. I had four tires installed. Appointment setup was easy. Car seems fine but the gunk left on all four tires shows a lack of work ethic.

11/29/23, I initially came in to have tires installed, but I was turned away by a guy who s name started with a J, in the front. He tells me that my tires were not there and that there was nothing he could do. Even after I tried to provide the physical proof that the tires were delivered and confirmed by one of the employees.. the guy (his name starts with a J) continued to refuse helping me so I left. after hours of going back forth with the manufacturer where my product was purchased from, I was instructed to go back to the store and speak directly to IVAN, who I must say was the only person able to help. He confirmed the tires were there and went over a beyond to set a appointment for next day installation if you decide to go here, only work with IVAN

Poor experience as a customer.Workshop personnel was rude, but the car was finished, and technical problems resolved.It took me an additional 50 minutes of wait to be able to check out because employees weren't able to work as a coordinated team

I scheduled an 11:30 a.m.online appointment with pep boys in North Miami beach. upon arriving at 11:00 a.m. I was informed by the gentleman at the service desk that my appointment would not be honored and it would take two and a half hours. I left my car and came back two and a half hours. during this two and a half hours I never received one phone call. I was then informed my bill would be $700 when I question the cost of certain items he told me it was the lowest price available. He did not provide me with a printout or even the ability to look at the computer at the prices. I agreed because I needed my car. I had to wait another hour and a half I started looking at prices for this pep boys shop. He did not charge me the lowest price available . When I finally received my car another gentleman checked me oot.He was a nice young man and I informed him the earlier representative misled me. He did honor my coupons. When I left my car had a squeaking noise and I had to return. The mechanic said he left a piece of plastic hanging and that was causing the noise. the young gentleman who checked me was helpful. Follow Up: The manager contacted me and did acknowledge his store was having issues with online appointments and were very short staffed. My car has been running good since the repairs. Do your homework and check out prices online and in person.

I bought my vehicle in to Pep Boys after it was running hot; they serviced my car and gave me a complete run down of what was going on and to make things even better, the price was on point! My son kept telling me that I should take my car to Pep Boys for sometime now, but I kept thinking they were not in my best interest. To my surprise, my son was correct!! Pep Boys is now my new BFF :)

If I can give a 0 star I would. Went to this Pepboys to get my car aligned. I was told by the gentleman on the phone that it will be about an hour to complete the work. The person on the front desk was nice. He took my information, my key and told me to have a sit. I am sitting down in the waiting area looking straight at my car that was on the lift. I waited and waited and didn't see no one working on my car.........they all went to lunch, perfect. I waited about 30 mins looking at the car just there on the lift singing "Lonely I am soo lonly. I have nobody I'm on my own" because again all the mechanics were out to lunch. Finally after about 40 mins, the mechanics shows up, lower the lift, and take the car outside and tells me it is ready. I ask the gentleman that was going to charge me: did you guys did the alignment? To which he responded yes. I told him that I did not see them put the laser machine on the tires nor did I see someone working on the car so I asked for the alignment report. His answer was: "the printer broke". How convenient. He went to say that I have 3 months of warranty so if I feel something weird. Really, an alignment is going to give me signs that is bad when I drive? You will notice that the alignment was not done when my new tires needs to be replaced. Pepboys corporation, please take the time thank this store for making you lose one customer. I do not recommend this place unless you like paying $118 for staring at you car on a lift through a window.

I want to give a shout out to Antonio, a mechanic who helped by replacing a cabin air filter in an old 1999 car. I brought the new filter from an auto parts store. Antonio spoke only Spanish but we managed to communicate.

One word = Ivan!!! I'm 57 and have bought many many many tires over the years. Never met anyone as helpful and hard working in this biz as Ivan!! He called me as soon as my special order tires for my 08convertible Mini Cooper S JCW sidewalk edition arrived. He had them installed same day and after we picked up a nail overnight for is back to the front of the line to fix it. Price was good, everything happened on time and as scheduled. Give these guys your business you won't regret it!!

Mechanics not eager to problem solve and further investigate an issue to see if it's repairable or not, in contrast to tire kingdom. TK inspected my tire, determined the puncture was small enough to be repairable. Try TK if you have no luck with these guys.

Customer service is bad with alot of mansplaining. They replaced my wipers with a broken set and replaced the wrong headlight. Now they re so incompetent they can t figure it how to replace the other headlight. Beware.Update: they also broke my blinker. When I called to inform then about this the person talking to me abruptly put me on hold.

I am giving one star because I can't give less than that. So disappointed with the service and professionalism of this place. I usually always go to pep boys to get things done in my car. And there are other reviews I've done to the location in miami lakes. Went to this location in north Miami Beach for an oil change. After my car being there for almost 4 hours they called to tell me that the oil changed could not be done because the people that did the oil change last stripped the drain plug on the oil pan. Lexus dealership were the ones that did my oil change before. They do not leave cars like that. They stripped my oil pan and did not take responsibility for it.

I will not be recommending this location and sadly will be taking my business elsewhere. I got misleading information on my Honda Civic. My Honda CR-V had a tire issue. Long story short I was given wrong information about when my tire would arrive, I then needed to drive up a second time to drop off my rim so when my tire did arrive, I was ignored in line while I was waiting because the guy behind me was in a hurry to pick up his car ... Then this morning I was asked to call to see if my tire had come in and the lady who answered the phone started arguing with me, instead of getting some extra information, then when I arrived they tried to just give me my tire without mounting it back on my car, like really. I was told they would squeeze me in, but I still had to wait , and no one came over to let me know what was going on or how long I needed to wait. I'm not sure what your standards are for customer service but that's not mine.

I had an appointment to change 2 tires on my car and they didn't want to do it because they say I didn't buy the tires from them and even if I have the appointment they can only do the work from Monday to Thursday in those cases. Totally absurd and lacking in judgment. They lost a customer who will never return.

Absolutely FANTASTIC!! I have never ever worked with such an attentive, caring and quick Tire Company like we did here. Ivan and his guys were amazing from the beginning, they were communicative, informative and SO NICE! My tire got a flat the day after they installed a new set and Ivan made sure to get me back in the day of the flat! These days customer service is so dead and a thing of the past that I will religiously use these guys and refer everyone I know to come here! Amazing service, took such great care of my car!!! Thank you Ivan and Team!!!

I advise everyone that ordering tire from amazon and want the tire to be replace it dont do it. the basically telling you that you can not do it after you waited almost 10 days just to find that you need to buy directly from them. telling you amazon tires are not genuine.there are many other companies and shop to work with just avoid this one.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!! WOULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS IF POSSIBLE. Vacationing in Miami and car wouldn't start. 75% sure it's the starter. We tried jumping it and there is no clicking. Pep boys told us they could put a new starter in it in 3 hours. 6 hours later... after calling multiple times. The told us the didn't get a chance to look at it yet, then proceeded to tell us they noticed a knocking in the engine. How do u hear a knocking in an engine that won't start? We told them just go ahead and replace the starter and they quoted us 750$!!! We told them to not do anything and we were gonna tow it to another mechanic. When the tow truck got there they wouldn't release the key unless we paid a diagnostic fee!!! The just admitted they didn't have a chance to look at it!! The lady was extremely rude and unprofessional. They knew we were in a precarious position and they tried to take advantage. After we didn't buy into their nonsence they tried to scam us out of additional money. Because of their unprofessionalism we are now stranded in a city 1000 miles from home and we need to check out of our hotel!! Had we known this was gonna be our experience, we would of sent it to another garage. If I was the pep boys corporation I would be ashamed and upset that this place is representing my brand!!! DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!!!

Worst oil change experience I ever had.I get free oil change under extended warranty.Called ahead of time, I was told first come first serve and it'll be about an hour. I came in at 9AM. The guy said it'll be about 1.5 hrs.Waiting area doesn't even have a beverage machine. Bathrooms were, well, y'all can close your eyes and imagine the worst bathroom y'all have seen? Was all of that plus the aroma.After 1.5 hrs my car was still outside waiting to go in. The guy told me now the wait is 2 hrs.My car was still outside at 11AM. I looked inside the shop area. One guy was sleeping. I told the other guy, he laughed and said "yea, he's lazy".I didn't get to leave until after 12pm. I value my time and honestly it's worth more then the free oil change.I'm attaching the photo of the sleeping guy. Granted, he could be sick or on brake. But really, the response I got didn't indicate both.

So I've gone here to get a new battery and was upsold and overcharged unnecessarily. Wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and second chance. Made an appointment to get tires installed today with a confirmation email received. Was told upon arrival, 10 minutes early for the appointment time, that they only have 1 mechanic and will not be able to assist. The worker indicated the the system on the website is not within their control. Very unprofessional. Looking at the rest of the reviews looks like I dodged a bullet...

Staying away from this storeWhen my Nissan Altima battery went dead and I had to change it I thought of Pep Boys close to my home, probably because of the advertising. A friend helped me jumping my car and I drove there. I very young man was at the register and gave him my VIN number, the computer poped out two options, one at $165 and another $135, I was shocked to compare the prices to Sear, $99 to 135, so a asked, if at least the installed for free, ( Five nuts and one screw ) Noooo, $ 14 dollar extra. The kid was lost in space and time, and the other employees probably in Jupiter. Since my car was dead, I had no other option than to installed myself, carry the Battery to the car and do it. Nobody offered help, everybody knew nothing. Not happy with the outrageous price, the charge me extra $15 bucks, in case I don't return my battery, I wonder why? I just feel ripped off. After I returned my battery, MY BATTERY??? they refund me the $15. I Won't BUY FROM PEP BOY EVER. They should invest less in advertising and more in customer service.

I had an 11am appointment and I would assume my repair was pushed aside because after speaking to the representative I was told I would be the next car for repairs. This was at 1:00pm my car was taken to the back at 2:00 pm. Other customers that can in after me was in and out of the shop. It's is now 430pm and I'm still sitting her waiting for my car. This is the last time I will be coming to this Pepboys. And not one time did anyone try to make sure I knew that my car would be ready soon. If I didn't so to the desk to find out why it took so long Noone felt the need to let me know that my valuable time was noticed. Having an appointment and showing up early wasa waste of my time. UNEXCEPTABLE

DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!!! I went to get a tire change and they charged me $600 ($200 of it went to labor) to fix it. Afterwards, my car would shake when I went 70 mph. So, I went back to get it checked. They made me wait three hours with an appointment just to rebalance my tires in an effort to fix THEIR mistake. I was driving with the new tires for a month before I had the chance to go back so God knows if their mistake ruined the tires. It would just be best to get your car checked at a dealership than coming here. Save your TIME AND MONEY! Scheduling an appointment here is useless because they'll still make you wait 3 hours before seeing your car. They're clearly understaffed and I don't think they're gonna make an effort to fix it. Additionally, they're over priced. They charged me $90 for a synthetic oil change. When I got my oil change directly from my car dealership, the dealer charged me $50. So, don't waste your time coming here. It's the worst experience I've had trying to fix my car.

Worst Service I have ever received, KATHERINE O. is a disgrace to the company and has terrible customer service skills. She really needs to be retrained or replaced. I walked in to get 1 tire changed, from the moment I walked to her, she didn't properly address me. Not even a good morning, just what's your tag number, I gave it to her, she said I don't know what to tell you, its not coming up.My question is how can you assume I've been here before for you to be able to find my information in the system. Secondly good morning to you too. Her first question should have been, Have you been here before?Once advised her that the tire that I needed to be replaced was a run flat tired. The manager, Joel yelled unprofessionally from across the counter to advised me that his not going to replace a run flat tire because it will make too much noise in his head and the amount that his charging me to replace my tire he would be losing money. Which was extremely frustrating because I literally just got my car towed to this location and the tow man had already left. I decided to choose this location because I was told by their partner who I purchased the tire from that they are able to change my tire for $24.99 Eventually the manager Joel agreed to changed my tire.I watch Katherine walk over to the service guys to turn in 3 keys one at a time from people that came in after me. She never turned in my key which mean I got skipped 3 times. I waited over 2 hours for 1 tire to be changed. One of the guys that was serving the cars realized I was sitting for so long and he decided to go to the front desk to get my key to change my tire. When he was done, I wanted to tip him but I didn't have cash, he also didn't speak English either. I wanted to Venmo, cashapp or zelle him. Joel said not on my watch. I don't understand what the big deal with tipping someone for service. They all need proper training cause this is ridiculous.
