Excellent customer service, clean vehicles, easy entrance, and accommodating.George welcomed us in, explained the contract, got us the car, and waited for us a few minutes when we ran behind on time.The car was clean inside and out and low miles. The entrance to their business is easy, on a one way street.Highly recommend this location for car rentals.

First time using this Avis, and generally a great experience. Booked a Tesla, but recieved an electric Mustang, which was very nice. But a warning for electric rentals... There are no public charging stations within a reasonable distance of the rental location, and the fee for returning the car at low charge is $75.With an 8hr charge time, it would mean leaving the car far from our accommodation overnight, which was not ideal. We brought the car back almost a full day early and informed Avis, and they kindly waived the fee.

Reserved a car rental. Took an Uber to go pick it up. And they didn't have it in inventory. I asked them why they didn't tell me they didn't have it in inventory and they said I was supposed to listen to the terms and conditions. So I wasted $50 in Uber and I still don't have a rental. Probably the worst experience and worst customer experience I have ever had in my entire life. They actually do not care at all and they're employees aare trained to also not care about your needs.

Always rent there when I stay in Miami. The staff at the front desk is slow but they try to put you into a nicer car if they can. The only drawback is that every other car has low battery in the remote or tires are deflated. It is not a problem for short term rental but it might be if you are going on a long trip.

The service is OK. They didn't have our vehicule when time to pick-up we had to postpone to next day. Be alert if they don't have your car do not accept any surchage from upper class vehicule. Have a nice rental...

Great customer experience. Branch manager was very polite, helpful and flexible. The only recommendation I have, is to improve a bit car cleaning practices, especially vacuuming. My car was not to die for, but found remains of potato chips under the seats that any vacuuming would have removed.

This location is very unorganized and unprofessional. I reserved a car online after speaking with a representative about using my debit card. When we arrived we were notified the car we reserved was actually given away. Which was the first strike. Why offer reservations only to give the car away??? I ve rented with enterprise multiple times and never had an issue. Many people do not use credit cards and simply have debit. Online the policy clearly states debit cards are available for use. The representative kept informing me my card was prepaid in which it was NOT. This really impacted my trip and made the whole trip inconvenient. she informed me I would have to call corporate for my refund which I now won t see for at least 5 days and had to wait almost an hour on the phone while on vacation. The representative also was rude to the African American woman in front of me and was very short with how she was speaking to customers. I ve never seen such a terrible car rental location. If the enterprise up the street I would surely have rented with them like always. They offer the best service. Shame on you Avis for turning away a customer and offering such terrible service!!!! I will not be back.

Great service!Don't bring a debit card, it's just not going to work. You're going to hold up the line. If you try to get a car on the weekend or a busy time, it's going to be busy.We made a reservation for Monday and it worked out perfectly. We got a great, fun Mustang and had fun exploring south florida.

Make sure to bring your own babyseat if needed. Even though you can make a reservation for a baby seat, the baby seats avis operates with are not fulfilling safety standards at all and are not suitable for baby's under 1 year.We had to cancel our reservation due to this. Our plans were ruined for the day.The staff was very nice and helpful though.

Made reservations and arriving at the location, I was advised by Sandra there were no cars available. I was given a 2 hour window for availability. I waited an hour, went back in to check the status and because I did not provide all my information to register, she mentioned she didn't know how much longer it will be. Sandra then said there were 2 people in front of me when clearly they came in after me as a walk in. Horrible customer service!! Don't rent here!

Booked my car the day before. Ubered from south beach up this location. Walked in and had to wait for 30 minutes due to it being only one person. Had a customer in front of me, I heard the employee helping yell if you booked yesterday or last night we do not have a car for you . Had multiple people behind me looking distraught. The customer in front of me was told he did not have a car either even though he booked two weeks ago. Got up to the front the employee got my information and said yeah man we don t have any cars for you and won t have any for a while . So I wasted my money to travel there and then I had to travel back. Someone could have At least could have called me and told me. Ruined my vacation because I had plans to travel to the Everglades. This place ruined my travel plans on my vacation. Contacted customer service and was provided a lousy 20$ credit on my next rental

Friendly service, and great car. It s a small range of cars, no choice, but was given a great option. The family loved it and it took all my luggage and four people. UK family has fallen in love with the great US name of Dodge, Thanks.

Great friendly and fast service. Was able to get a car and hit the road 10 minutes after walking into this place. Great rates and they also had carseats for our kids. Great experience, no hidden charges and no unpleasant surprises, will use this Avis car rental if we are in Miami beach again.

Got a dirty car (both outside and inside), the car needed service 2000 miles ago, and one tire was leaking air so that we needed to get it filled after two-three days. (Was low again when we handed in the car).We paid extra to get a car from Avis because we have had good experience with them before. But this time they were no better than the low cost car rentals.

Had a very positive experience here. The individual who helped us on Wed/Thurs (Jonathan, according to our receipt) was quick in getting us set up for the car and helpful in explaining things. Would recommend this location.

Be careful, check your bill before signing. First they messed up my online booking, then I was in a rush so didn t pay much attention at the time of signing the bill. Later on I realized, they charged me double of my original online booking price. I m totally disappointed.

Reserved a car online around 8am, around 9:55 We were pulling up after a $45 cab ride and got a call that they didn't have any vehicles. We went inside to talk to them. They just said they don't know how we booked it cause they don't have anything. No apologies. My wife said what about our $45 dollar cab bill. He replied "What do you want me to do? I can't do anything about that!" Rude tone, and annoyed we were speaking to him.

When I returned my car I realized they had snuck in an extra insurance charge to my bill that I had verbally disagreed to. Always check your contracts with these guys. It s sad when you can t trust these agents and have to be aware of them trying to scam you

We made a reservation in the category of "Ford Fiesta or similar". We went to pick up the car before our trip and we got offered a Smart car, which was highly dangerous to drive during stormy weather conditions at that time. We made another reservation for a Chevrolet and went back to the pick up point to be told that they would not rent us a car because they had none available. We said there was an entire lot full of cars - the response to that was that these were for people that had made reservations. Well, we had made two. It somewhat puzzles me how can they overbook in that way. We had planned an entire day full of attractions outside of Miami and they all had to get cancelled. Additionally, the service person at that location was really unfriendly and unprofessional. We heard him speaking Spanish to other customers so we would also speak Spanish - he replied in English with an attitude.We DO NOT RECOMMEND AVIS because you may get there and be told they have no vehicle for you. They should retrain their customer service personnel and get a major software update of their online booking system.

Devon time trying to pick up a car from this location, and they don t have any. The response from the person behind the counter was, you can make a hundred reservation online but if you came here we don t have cars. Really? Worst customer service ever. Plan ahead and check different car rental and stay away from this location.

I Had a reservation for a certain car category, and when I got to the agency to pickup the car, the manager delivered a different car category (downgrading the one I had reserved). He barely looked at me, and just said that The rate was too low for that car category.ps: The car I had before was there waiting for us, and still He didn t honor the resevation that was made through avis website!I have all the documents and photos to proof, and I am suing Avis for that.Manager was very rude, and leave me talking alone.

I normally dont give reviews of car rental places but this place went above and beyond. Im a loyalty member of another company's and wasnt able to reserve a car. I found this location by accident and reserved a car the night before.The manager is amazing, the prices were the best in Miami Beach and it was extremely convenient. From now on, this is the only place I will go to rent a vehicle in Miami Beach

George, long time staff member, super friendly and informative. Processes one super fast. In fact, member of my family has been utilizing them, and knows George for nearly 15 years! And in these current times, facility is clean and practicing all the safety measures! Definitely recommend!

We booked a 1030 car rental, we got to the rental place at 10 and they said we wouldn't be able to get a car until at least 11. We walked two miles to the rental place and had to be checked out of our hotel, I asked them to Uber me back to the hotel so we could check out in time and they offered us no options. It worked out cause we got a late check-out but seems like they could have a policy if they don't have you car on time.

Where s zero stars when you need it?Stay away from this place at all cost if stoic face old man George is behind the counter. He is a rude and just after your money. Limited selections anyway.

This particular Avis office is disgusting. In addition to renting a car, a $ 250 deposit is also required.None of the Avis offices charged me a $ 250 security deposit.
