Was a pleasure buying a new set of tires here. Saw them online and called the store. They had the full set in the next day and called when they got them off the truck. Service was a breeze and will be using them for all tire and alignment services from now on! Thank you Rick for being awesome to work with!

My experience with the Merritt Island Pep Boys was nothing less than ideal. The staff was polite, courteous, and extremely professional. They happily received a delivery of tires from an online tire provider instead of hassling me to take what they had in store. Not only did they get the work done promptly, they did an alignment in the same day after I called (halfway through the day) to request it by phone. They didn't try to pressure me into taking a more expensive service, just informed me of what was available and accepted my choice politely. This is the second vehicle on which I have had them install new tires and perform an alignment. And this is the second time I have been completely satisfied with their work and service. They informed me of potential issues after I asked them for an inspection, and again did not pressure me to get the work done by them. In the past, I have had many different repair shops try to make a list of things they said needed to be done, but were NOT necessary - this is not the case with Pep Boys. I trust them to tell me what is needed/urgent/unsafe, what would be good to have done but not urgent, and what is not an issue. They are an honest, reputable repair shop and have gained me as a repeat customer.

Would give 20 stars to Rick . From Miami for a week and car service engine light appeared. Rick was kind and honest. Service was quick and reasonably priced. Also appreciated the texted updates. Glad to know great customer service still exists.

4 hours for an oil change and filter change on a 6.7 Cummins Ram. I understand this is not a 5 minute oil change place. I get it. But to tell me there are so many different diesel engines and so many different filters for diesel engines, when there is only three manufacturers of diesel engines that go in trucks. I called before going and specifically asked if they could service diesel pickup trucks, was told bring it on in and we will get you taken care of. They did finally get it done but blamed O'Reilly's for bringing the wrong filters. If your gonna service diesel trucks you should have this in stock. You should be able to look up part numbers in your computer system. At a minimum Google the correct part. Pep Boys needs to put some pep in their game. The mechanic at least knew what he was doing. The front counter guy, needs to learn to own up and not push blame. First and last visit to Pep Boys. You guys had a chance to get a repeat customer. You blew it.

Great Shop great workers. Great professionals!! Received a car alignment on a gt CRUISER. They went beyond with there service. PLEASE BRING MORE BUISNESS TO THIS GREAT SHOP..

Down 2.5 days without my vehicle because of a starter. Had to have it towed and utilized their service and waited 5 hours. Communication was poor as I waited for it to be fixed. Got the truck back with a "new"starter, had it in my possession for less than an hour, and it wouldn't start. Had to have it towed again and worked on the following day.They took the appointments over the broken truck they gave me back...and made me feel like i was wrong for expecting to take precedence. Found out the first starter was refurbished without that disclaimer being discussed. Second starter put on....and I'm really confident in it....insert eye roll here. Don't recommend!!

Great place great service however, I had to book an appointment. They did accept my fleet corporate company policy yet. I had to travel out of town and did not have the time had to cancel.

I have visited Pep Boys 2 times in the past 2 weeks and both times Rick has been extremely helpful and their mechanics have turned my truck around same day. Only have positive things to say about everyone over there.

Amazing place. Had a tire go bad on vacation and pep boys looked out for my family. If I was local, I wouldn t go to any other shop. Staff is amazing, prices are good and they didn t act like kids are an inconvenience. Top notch job. Y all make the pep boys brand shine.

Having recently relocated from NY to Florida, my car had some definite wear and tear on it- AC went the first week, then all 4 tire bearings 3 weeks after ( it had been making a strange noise prior to the drive down). I always find it difficult to find someone trustworthy to fix my vehicle- ESPECIALLY coming to a brand new area- but both Ron and Rick were so personable and patient while explaining the issues and breaking down repair costs. I 100% recommend them and trust their opinion!

I bought a replacement tire at Tire Rack since my OEM's are hard to find. I had it drop-shipped here after Tire Rack quoted me $22.50 for the mount and balance, the lowest of several they offered. You guessed it: Pep Boys charged me LESS -- $5 less -- than the quote. Demonstrated integrity at no penalty; I would gladly have paid the $22.50 This is what I look for: not the constant upselling, upcharging, and hidden fees. Just the price regardless of whether it's a 2024 Mercedes or 2001 Honda Civic. Compared to Discount Tire, I'll be using these guys.

Rick was so helpful and kind he really helped me stop stressing while I traveled in my camper van I heard a squeaky noise and they were very quick to help me find the issue very appreciative of him

Im a Hospice nurse so I drive all day at work. The other day I was at a facility and found my tire going flat so I pulled in to Pep Boys .and a mechanic came right up and asked what he could do to help? The Manager was with another customer so he said let me take a look and immediately took the car (and low tire) into the bay, said he would take a look and report back. Within 10 minutes I met Rick the manager, and my car pulls up out front. Rick and the mechanic hand me my keys and say all fixed had a big screw in the tire! I thanked them for the fast and courteous service and was told No charge and to have a great day! They saved me because I was going to be late helping another family, but not anymore! I was very grateful for the help! I will be back in a month to get brand new tires, they just got a customer for life for the genuine A+ service! Thanks Pep Boys, for having good people work for ya!

They are severely understaffed when I went but they are trying hard to accommodate customers. They will not take in walk ins so do call in advance. They also will work with you to ensure your situation is handled. Expect a several hour wait for work, even with an appointment but if you plan for it, you will be fine. Honest work done here which is refreshing. I went in for tire replacements and an alignment, the car did not need an alignment and they removed it from the bill. Most shops would just charge you for the effort of checking.The only negative I had was there was a lot of glue like substance on my rims and tires, likely from the install. I had to wipe them down when I got home. Just a little messy. I will be back for more service in the future.

Excellent service all around! Everyone was extremely pleasant to work with and Kyle went out of his way to keep us entertained while we were waiting for our tires to get replaced! If you re looking for a car shop you can trust and with excellent customer service, Pep Boys (in Merritt Island, FL) is where you want to go!

Wouldn t change my oil because I wouldn t give them my address. So I went to Midas just down the street. While Midas asked for my address, the manager there didn t even blink when I declined to give it up. Guess who got today s business (and the in future)? Not Pep Boys.

Fantastic service with knowledge folks. Ron at the front desk is super awesome. Went in for recent brake service and techs found a nut lodged up in the wheel that was creating the grinding sound. Called me and explained the brakes and brake fluid was good and no service was necessary. I wasn't charged that day. I'll continue to trust these guys with all my vehicles.

Ron and rick are fantastic. Trust me, Don't go to some mechanic who has medium or minimum experience. Pay a little bit more and go to a place like pep boys Does tell me every time I need them.
