Worst possible experience you can ever have at a car lot literally a nightmare . Took my car in and was never contacted and would get snarky rude remarks every time I called to ask for an update. They did work to my car without calling to even ask if I wanted to go through with that . Then told me it was going to be 800$ and would still not be running and still needs another part that was on the way almost every time I asked about it . Oh and not to mention she told me there was a shortage of parts when I looked it up myself and found it . Had to have a sheriff get my car and still did not get an itemized receipt of what was done and was charged 1,600$!!! For it to be towed out of there . And this lady really had the audacity to tell me in exact words oh well we put an aftermarket part on there it s not the right part for the car so it won t work, and could possibly mess it up more so don t start it too much but I give up almost comical how much of joke and scam this is and still able to operate. Not to mention this woman is living there and most likely on drugs. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE IF YOU DONT WANT A CAR RETURNED TO YOU IN WORSE CONDITION THAN YOU LEFT IT AND ALSO STILL HAVE TO PAY OVER 1k!!!!

Also the worst mechanic experience I've ever had in my life.I had a long term project car I was working on and was perfectly okay with a shop taking their time. Based on recommendations I went to Brevard Discount Transmission and gave them my car's 5spd manual. That was a mistake. Over the next year I was feed lie after lie about the state of the transmission. Got told it's being worked on, got told they were waiting on parts, got told they were having issues assembling it. None of it was true. I fired them after realizing I wasn't ever going to see results from them.I had my business partners attempt to pick up the transmission while they were picking up their own and Brevard told them it's in storage, they can't find it, or whatever excuse they had that day. My business partners tried a second time and still got sent away with no transmission again. Finally I went, third attempt, and they magically found the transmission. It has never once been disassembled. It was in the exact condition I left it in, maybe a few more cobwebs.Avoid at all costs.

It s been slightly over a year since Brevard Discount Transmission replaced the transmission on my 2007 Cadillac Escalade EXT. Here we are now and I am still dealing with transmission issues. after having the transmission replaced the second time by Brevard discount transmission, I have been in and out of their shop with little to no resolution. Today is July 17, 2023 and the transmission is acting up again. I am being told that it s an issue not related to the transmission but the dealers who reform s routine maintenance states otherwise. At this point, I can t honestly recommend this place of business and I hope to have my issues resolved before I have to take further action.Service: Transmission

This place was 1k cheaper than the 4 other places I called and fixed my dodge Dakota in 3 days flat rebuilt my transmission and gave me a 1 year warranty. Then picked me up when it was done!!! Highly recommend this company!! Cara working the front desk is amazing and very professional.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

This has been the worst auto repair experience of my life.I took my classic truck to this business for a rear seal replacement on the transmission.They replaced the rear seal and in the process knocked a hole in the trucks gas tank. The gas tank repair took 6 months.During the 6 month period they left my garage keep truck in the weather and total oxidation of the paint and chrome happened, as well as paint chips in the driver side door.When I picked the truck up the brand new battery was dead, the gas gauge no longer worked and the rear view mirror was laying on the truck floor.Terrible customer service and communication. Now I have to put the truck in another shop to repair the neglect taken by BREVARD DISCOUNT TRANSMISSIONS. The only thing discount about this repair shop was their service. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!Service: Transmission

Never again!!!! Brought my mustang in for a pump seal on transmission. Set up appointment week prior and brought it in on a Monday which they said the bay would be open at that time. Dropped it off and was told they d get back to me with quote and would take couple days. Well, 10 working days later finally got it back. One of exhaust tips to the duel exhaust was gone. When inquired about what happened, one the techs said that the exhaust goes into one. which I responded that I installed the exhaust and it was duels when I brought it in. Then after getting it home, checked under car and it appeared that the transmission was dragged on ground because my new transmission pan that I installed and wasn t leaking was scratched to hell along with bellhousing. I wish I could post photos of it but can t on here. I will post on other sites.Service: Transmission

I felt they were very honest and real. I come from Ohio where I ve always had family members who could repair any of my car issues so I have always felt skeptical hiring someone else. These folks were very nice and just genuinely seemed like good people. Highly recommended.

We have been going here since 1997.They are honest, that is the best thing to be said of an auto repair shop.They will use new parts, and stand behind and warranty without question every thing they do.When your expectations are:Bring it in,Give them time to diagnose the problem.They will find new parts, and repair you vehicle correctly every time.Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Air conditioning, Oil change

Had my car for 13 months now. 13 months is not a typo. All that was needed was a transmission rebuild and a engine swap. Do not recommended to anyone for anything. Not sure how they are still in business. Can't get an answer as to when it will be done.

The crabby old lady at the front must be a mechanic. I called and spoke to a younger lady who said to bring my truck for a diagnostic and they would drive it and let me know the problem. When I got there an old lady said it needed rebuilt and if I wasn't ready to spend $2000, don't bother leaving it for a diagnostic. It was just rebuilt 5 months ago, but she wouldn't listen to that part. I took it to another mechanic, they found it to just be a wiring issue...

The stars are for the owner who seemed like a decent guy, and who knows, they probably do good work. The lady at the desk needs some good things to happen to her, she seemed cranky. Other than that, the car was supposed to be looked at in a couple 2 or 3 days, then the next Monday... then... Meh, I just retrieved the car.

Rebuilt the tranny in our 07 suburban. Very professional and did a great job at a very reasonable price. Also fixed the rear main seal. Rare to find a shop these days that does exactly what they promise. No surprises. We have already driven at least 10k miles since the repairs with no issues. Tranny functions just like new. I would highly recommend this shop for any tranny work.

I would give this business zero stars if I could. Save yourself the hassle. Do not use this shop. They have poor customer service. They also do not stand behind their work. I will never refer this shop to anyone.
