Easy access to the Palatka - Lake Butler Trail Head from this undeveloped parking area. No bathroom or picnic area here. However, this portion of the trail is incredibly beautiful and quiet. The span from here to Putnam Hall is dotted with several small lakes, ponds and wetlands amidst gently rolling hills and beautiful trees. We even saw an alligator! The span headed towards Florahome is beautiful as well many sections of full canopy over the trail and several older homes here and there.

Great trail, we ride it all the time. Lots of shade in some parts.

Great place to walk the dogs or ride your bike. Plenty of parking lots to pick up on the trail @ different locations. Real pretty trail

Feel safe here in this particular part of the trail. Nice place to go for a walk.

Was not on trail car ran out of gas here just Google and Facebook watching my every move also bad cell service here
