Steven took great care of our 1973 Beetle. He kept us well informed about the type of service and maintenance needed and did a great job working on our vehicle. Gave us an itemized and well detailed description of the work he did. Would definitely recommend and would definitely go back.

I had recently purchased a used 71 Super Beetle out of Arizona through a consignment dealer. Of course, buyer beware, when purchasing an old classic vehicle. Had the vehicle inspected by a, what I thought was reputable company. Not so much. Thank God for connecting up with Steve at Space Coast Imports. While he felt pained to have to call me about the level of repairs needed, he did such a thorough and professional job that now my VW is both structurally sound and getting closer and closer every day to be mechanically sound. Runs fantastic, but we're going to develop that relationship where he'll help get my bug back to where I want it to be. Explained things in such thorough detail and developed a great plan moving forward. Such decent people and so knowledgeable. I would recommend anyone out there, with an air-cooled vbw, to consider these guys - the father-and-son team are so professional and knowledgeable!

Great place. Steve was very curious and upbeat, with a positive attitude. He rcplaimed part that was needed and even gave his own professional recommendation to give me the reassurance that i needed so I can be certain i was purchasing the right part that I came in to get that , it was the best product that I needed. thanks Steve if I could definitely recommend space coast imports! Great service and friendly atmosphere.

Steve and son Stephen were able to troubleshoot issues with my 1999 new beetle. What a team!Using their many years experience plus a code reader, they were able to determine a possible problem. They will be my new go to shop in the future! Thanks

Steve at Space Coast Imports is the real deal when it comes to Volkswagen repair. Steve and his son, the owners, live and breathe Volkswagens. They drive Vanagons daily. They have a garage full of them.I brought my '86 Vanagon in with an oil leak which turned out to be a hole in one of the push rod tubes. Apparently, one of the push rods got bent and busted through the tube. Steve gave me three choices from cheap to expensive but recommended the middle of the road fix - a new collapsible push rod tube and a used push rod from one of the engines laying around his shop.The work was professionally done! I'm very happy to have found a good VW mechanic to work on my pride and joy!

It doesn't get better than a competent mechanic that is honest. Steve and his son are more than that. If you've got a vintage VW that needs repair, this is the place to go!

The man behind the counter was watching YouTube on his computer and was bothered when I asked a simple question, I asked if he had a certain part which he replied well there right over there and degradingly laughed, and hid in the back room until I left.WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!I wonder how a place like this can keep themselves in business!

Well I was in the process of buying a 77 bug from the guy I was getting it for 4 thousand and I was 2000 into it he sold my engine then a few weeks later the body and 500 was non refundable which I was fine with but I never saw the rest of my money and I couldn't even take him to court because there was no letterhead on any of the receipts and he didn't sign any of them either I was too young to know any better don't go to him just order your parts off the internet.

Worst experience ever. Got me for $2000 and nothing was still fixed. Took it somewhere else and I was told problem could have been fixed for $500. Do not trust them
