Mike, Craig, Sam, and Cody are awesome!I was nervous to go to a shop because I was a girl, duh. But the guys over at Rich's kept it pretty straightforward and honest. They told me what my car needed and let me choose if I wanted to get it done or not, they weren't pushy or sneaky. I was recommended this auto shop by a local car enthusiast and I am glad I trusted him and Rich's Auto Tech :)Also, in the holiday spirit, they gave me a cute little stuffed animal with a coupon for my next visit! Customer service is.... 10/10!

I ve been going to Rich s for over three years. I highly recommend them, their prices are good, open communication and do fast work. The staff of my recent purchase was exemplary. The mechanic didn t let me leave until he got the alignment and work right. Even though it took five hours he noticed the alignment was still off, and he went the extra mile to make fix it. I want this this type of dedication. No complaints, and love the work. Will always recommend and being my truck here no matter what. Best mechanic in the area. Been taking all my vehicles for checks and service to Rich's Auto for 5 years. Massive amount of knowledge and unbelievably trustworthy. Entire staff is incredible.Best in the Melbourne area. Hands down!

Monday, I had a cylinder misfire in my 2014 Dodge Charger. Tuesday, I called several shops in the area and Rich's was the first one to respond back. I got my car towed there, told them the issue, and signed things over. They were understanding with my distress, and sent me daily updates as they worked on my car.Tuesday, dropped off the car in the afternoon.Wednesday, car was OBD scanned and was called to give permission for a "Level 1 Test"Thursday, they needed to replace the fuel injectors and told me it would run about $950.Friday, my car was ready for pickup.I've had my car back for about a week now, and she seems to drive better than before. She's very quick to start and she seems to be sipping gas more efficiently. I am mostly happy with the service here and the quick turnaround.My only gripes were that the Loaner Cars they offer were booked (Understandable) but they could not give me a ride to my job which was 6.2 miles away. They only had a 5 mile range to drop people off. They did seem to run my car through a car wash before returning it, so that was nice of them.All in all, I will keep this place in mind if, heaven forbid, something else goes badly wrong with my car.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning

They were very friendly and weren't pushy about extra work. My Honda civic is 12 years old and has had a hard life. They did a quick once over and made some suggestions to address issues, but didn't try pushy tactics to upsell the service.

Uber driver needed a fast repair to stay earning. They were super flexible and understanding to my needs and we were able to collaborate on a solution that worked flawlessly. A dealership solution would have been three times the cost and multiple days out which would have compounded my losses.

Lousy service. Lousy communication. Minimal effort. Truck sat at the shop for over 6 months with no updates (unless I called) Spent about $2,000 and will never go back. They also left the wiring exposed on my replacement part. Horrible experience.

I dropped my truck off there they told me I'd have it in a week on Friday when we didn't get a call we called them they said they were waiting for another part is that my truck will be ready next Friday well today is Friday and apparently I won't get my truck back until Monday. Well here I am now editing my review today is Monday just got off the phone with the mechanic now apparently my truck will be ready Wednesday they have now officially had my truck for an entire month I would not recommend you taking your vehicle there.

Cody and the crew there have always been able to provide top of the line service for any issues I have ever had with my car! I have Been going to the shop since 2014 for any issues I have ever had with my car and will continue to do so!

I won't use them ever again. They had my car for over 3 months, charged me over $900 for window motors and they still don't work. Charged $254 for a car battery without consulting me. All totaled over $1400 and the only bright spot was sending my car to a body shop for my exterior mirror install but never provided an estimate for this. The outside body shop appears to have done good work.This was a really unacceptable and expensive lesson in sham business practices I put trust in based on reviews.Services: Auto battery replacement, Auto power window repair

I have been going to Rich s for many years now. The service has always been great. They have gone above and beyond by offering free loaner cars, washing my car prior to delivery and ensuring that my issues have been resolved as quickly as possible. On more than one occasion they have even saved me money. Their new front office person Sam is such a professional young man when he answers the phone. Cody has always been very good at explaining what is needed in detail without making me feel dumb and Craig who has done most of my services for the last couple of years has always done top notch work. Rich's is by far the only place I fully trust with my corvette. They perform excellent work and tend to keeping the vehicle from getting any unwanted scratches or you getting it back anyway other than the way they received it. I give Rich's a 5 star rating with any hesitation. Everyone at Rich's acts in a professional manner each and every time I go there.Services: Transmission, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning

The WORST mechanic I ve ever been to. After spending close to $2,000 to get my car worked on, I left the shop with my car sounding horrible and what I went in for never fixed. And on top of it the older African American gentleman that was working the front desk was extremely rude to me, all because I said the car still had problems after picking it up. His exact words were that how cars are, you fix one thing and another thing breaks , then continued to speak over me and become more rude in his responses. Also, if something unexpected was found during working on my car, why not call me and tell me you found something else or something broke? Makes no sense truly baffled by that one.My main issue with this place is that they do an inspection, prior to working on the car .for what? You fixed nothing. Also, they are EXTREMELY expensive. You re better off going to another shop.When I left the shop, lights on my dashboard were still on, a rattle sound was coming from engine, noticeable difference in acceleration power, also when accelerating the car sounds like a go kart, and the car hesitates every time I start the engine.I thought they charged these high prices because they did high quality work. Turns out that is not the case. What a WASTE of money. Now I have to go to another shop fix the work they didn t do and more. RIDICULOUS.I met Rich at business networking event, and truly thought it was good idea to bring my car here.

These guys are the best. By far the most curtious and educated group I've ever brought my vehicles too. Cody is top notch and so nice. Craig worked on my car and actually explained everything to me so I understood what the problem was and how he was gonna fix it. I will never bring any of my vehicles anywhere else ever again. I don t know who I talked to yesterday on the phone about fixing my car and asking for a quote, it s like the guy literally did not understand what I was saying and was very rude. I ll be telling everyone I know not to come to this place because of the disrespect. Instead I ll be going to Craig s Auto Shop. He gave me a quote and was very kind and friendly on the phone. I told him what needed to be fixed and there was no question .. because it s very simple. Good job with the horrible customer service! Missed out on a good person who would give you good money.

Been using The Shop for years and been with the shop through its up and downs and always have been given good respect and upfront info about any issues with the vehicles that I have brought to be worked on. Worst experience I've ever had at a mechanic and thats saying a lot. I brought my car there and asked them to replace the rear sway bar bushings on my car the guy that checked the car in told me okay didn't say anything else told me they would give me a call when they got a chance to look at it and give me a price 24 hours later I get an email with an almost $3,000 estimate to basically replace the entire front end and suspension not ever dressing the rear sway bar bushings that I asked for originally I tried to explain to whoever I talk to on the phone that that's not what I asked for and that even under customers concerns it said that I had told them that the car was shaking extremely bad and making noise from the front end which obviously I never did so then they charged $75 just to get my car back even though I never asked them to do this inspection and nobody told me that there was a $75 inspection fee. So I paid their hostage money and I will never go back and nobody should

Rich's Auto Tech has done both repairs and oil changes on my 2007 Audi. I am comfortable taking my car there rather than the dealership because the techs at Rich's always do quality work and check to see if I want Audi or after market parts if anything is needed. The staff are always friendly when I drop the car off and go over everything with me when I pick the car up. Further, there have been times when I thought I needed something replaced and their techs determined replacement was not needed, saving me money in all cases.It is easy to see why Rich's Auto Tech has been in business for so many years and continues to grow.Services: Auto battery replacement, Auto engine diagnostic, Brake service & repair, Battery

I brought the car there to have the rear sway bar bushing replaced that is exactly what I told them at the front counter. Today they send me an inspection report saying basically mostly the front end needs to be replaced all the struts and shocks and all that I never asked them to do any of that I never told them that it was driving bad or anything it is driving fine it just makes a noise when you go over a bump and you could see from rocking the car where the metal was hitting and the bushing was missing so then when I go to pick it up today they're telling me I owe them $75 for them doing an inspection that I didn't ask for and they didn't even fix what I dropped it off for please find another mechanic because when I address this to them they got loud with me and we're very disrespectful worst service I've ever had

The people here are so nice. The waiting area is also really nice and clean with drinks and snacks. I'm a single woman who is afraid of getting ripped off by car people because it's happened in the past. This is a family run business and I totally trust the people who work here. I don't take my car anywhere else. I love the fact that they are right by the mall and will give you a lift over there to shop while you wait for your car. I apologize to anyone I have referred here in the past and hope your experience has been better then mine.I had my vehicle in for service and after paying I discovered that in the process of working on the vehicle they had broken a part in the engine compartment and left it loose and hanging.That would have been fine if they would have told me about it and had a plan to repair it. Instead they let me discover it the hard way.I gave them the benefit of the doubt though, and called about the issue. They admitted to knowing about it but blamed it on the age of the car but that has nothing to do with not warning me even if it was true. After brining it to the owner s attention they said they would get the replacement part ordered and get it fix.What transpired next was a series of about 12 calls over the next 15 months where they made one excuse after the next about the part not being available, about needing to check with the manager again, about somehow losing the order Finally I had absolutely no reason left to believe anything they said. Coupled with the lack of integrity around the situation that they caused and didn t feel they needed to mention to me, I felt I owed anyone who I ever sent their way an apology.

Rude.... Then they respond to my comment and say they don't see me in their system, maybe because I didn't get the work done with them. .My main issue with this place is that they do an $80 Inspection, prior to working on the car .for what? You fixed nothing and then wantef to charge you for another test to see if the first inspection was correct... Come on...... Also, they are EXTREMELY expensive. Wanted over $1000 to change a power steering pump. You re better off going to another shop.

Got a coupon in the mail for an oil change so I thought I d try them. BIG MISTAKE! Took my car in for my 11:00 appointment for a synthetic oil change & tire rotation, plus asked them to check it out because we have a road trip coming up. Hadn t heard from them by 3:00, so I called. Was told it wasn t ready because they didn t have the right oil in stock & had to go buy some. I told them that was ridiculous since they advertise synthetic oil & Tire Kingdom down the street has it because they ve changed my oil before in a lot less than 4 hours. Called again at 4:00 & was told it still wasn t ready. I told them I would be there at 4:30 to pick it up. At 4:30 they told me it was done & had just come back from a test drive. A test drive for an oil change? They put 7 miles on it & had the AC at 65 degrees. NEVER AGAIN!

I do not know what this goes under. I had noticed that there was smoke coming from under my hood when I went to the store. I drove my car home and called Rich''s Auto Technology. I told them what happened and they told me to bring the car right in. The mechanic that worked on my car had patience. He answered my questions and concerns. They fixed my car promptly. I would highly recommend this place of business. I am very happy and will continue to go there for any services my car needs. I have a hard time trusting places but I trust them. So if you need car repairs go to them, you won't regret it.
