As a new resident in Eau Gallie, I was thrilled to find C&D Auto Center. I ve been looking for a local auto repair shop to support (I had been going to a small locally owned shop in St. Petersburg for over 20 years, so I wanted to find someone here that I felt I could trust with my 19 year old 2005 Ford Taurus).I called C&D and spoke with Joe and Jim at different times, and they were so kind my AC totally stopped working and I called them to see if they could check it out for me . I had googled the shop and read amazing 5 star reviews, so I decided to check them out.. they re so close to my home and they were really great on the phone.They did their magic and checked everything out, and advised me my compressor was out, so the repair would cost me approximately $2,400. Unfortunately, I couldn t afford to get it repaired right then, but when I m able to get it repaired, which will happen, cuz no AC in Florida is just a total joke . I ll be taking my girl to these fine folks! Oh and they didn t charge me anything to check it out!! So yes, I m a fan of this establishment!And then, not a week later, my engine light came on .. I called and Joe said to bring it in they kept it overnight and called me the next day to tell me what needed to be done, so I had no problem at all with them repairing it. I ll need an oil change soon so guess where I ll be going?! Yep to C&D Auto Repair!!I highly recommend these folks, if you need any repairs for your vehicles!!Thanks again, Joe and Jim and staff!! I was a loyal customer for 30+ years, except when my new car was under warranty. I still came to them if it wasn t covered under warranty. Last year they way over charged me twice! I goggled what I could get the parts for from a local parts store and they charged over $100 more. Then at the second visit for the ac they charged me $113. for labor and they only worked on my car for under 15 minutes. Wish I had known what they had become before I was so taken advantage of. I always recommend them to everyone. So very disappointed in them, wish I checked their prices earlier. I checked after my last ac service because I saw they charged $113. for a timed 14 minute service. I have been so hurt buy this that I just wanted to forget about them, but I couldn t, is anyone trustworthy anymore!?

I took my vehicle to see what the issue was. Had family go here. I liked them and thought they were honest. The guy really worked with me to assure if the car was worth the fix or if I needed to just get rid of it. Honesty is key!

I m super picky about where my beloved older car goes. C & D is the only place for us. I trust them, they treat me and my car like family. Fit us in even when there s a ton of other cars. They are quick and my car comes out running amazing again! I truly feel like they have our backs! If you want top of the line, honest work done by respectable folk this is your place! Mr Joe is such a kind friendly person! I truly can t say enough good about them! They have my loyalty! This place is incredible and I want as many people to know.They are fair, patient, and proficient in their field.The lot is full and there is a reason, when it comes to Car Repair, there should be no other option.I got towed here by total accident but God had a plan because not only they did fix my tire; they were able to look at my AC as a bonus and after two different companies telling me it was going to be very expensive I was able to get it running at a great price. They quoted the part before doing it, and I never felt pressured into doing the work when I was wasn't ready.I have been blasting that AC on high ever since.This place is one in a million.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning

These guys are old school, true honest gentleman. Took my car to jiffy lube for an oil change and they put a faulty sump plug on. Went to vavoline today to get an oil change and they messed with it completely freaked out and said, We aren t mechanics we can t fix this, it s now leaking oil! My husband read reviews for C&D and we dropped in. They had us fixed on our way in under 30 min at an extremely fair price. They will be our only mechanic from now on. Thanks guys! They're my go to auto shop. The plastic cover (not sure what it is called) under my car came off at several spots from driving on a dirt road at my last residence. It was holding on but came loose while I was driving near C&D. It was making an awful sound as it scraped on the ground. I pulled into this place and they saw me fairly quickly. They took care of the problem and when I asked how much I owed them they said nothing because it really didn't take them more than a couple of minutes. I couldn't believe it! It didn't take them any time because they had the equipment to do the work. It would have taken me a long time to do the same thing, if at all! They had me back on the road, without that awful sound, in no time. For their honesty, I vowed to return when I needed service. I have returned and used them to service my car since that initial visit and they've always been courteous, professional and affordable.

I replaced my tires at a local tire center and was told my brake pads were low and needed replacement soon. Based on prior positive experience, I set up an appontment with C&D Auto center expecting to have the brake pads replaced. They showed me that I still had plenty of brake pad left and could probably go another 20,000 mi before needed to replace them. They did not charge me anything. These guys have repeatedly proved themselves to be competant, reliable, and honest. I will go to them for all my future auto repair.

I ve been going here for about 5years now. They handle all my automobile needs for a Jeep JKS and a Volkswagen Jetta. Honest mechanics at a fair rate. What more can you ask for. I let my wife take vehicles in when I m not here and don t have to worry. I know that she is treated just as fairly as me. That s respect for the customer. Thanks guys!

I've been taking my cars to C&D for 5 years now and I am never disappointed! From oil changes, tire rotations, and regular maintenance to big, scary repairs, the folks here have always gotten me back on the road. The owner and staff are all so nice and accommodating. They are honest about the work that needs to be done and never mislead about the price. Price is always fair and the work is always high quality. I definitely recommend! Also, they are a AAA certified/approved location!

I've been taking my vehicles to C&D for about 10 years now. Joe is great - he's been there for a long time and is always professional and accommodating. My last visit, I took my 2003 Lexus to get looked over before I sell it. Like many other times before, they were prompt, fast, and didn't try to nickel and dime me. The car was fine and all it needed was an oil and filter change. I've taken at least 3 other vehicles to them before and had some bigger jobs done too(diagnostics, transmission, A/C).I trust this place and the technicians there, and finding a trustworthy auto shop can be difficult - especially for me as I've worked in the auto industry and know how some of these businesses operate. Went into C&D yesterday regarding oil change and repairs on my moms Mercedes. They were friendly and took care of the problem without a hassle. I took my car for the 120,000 mile checkup - all it needed was an oil change! What a great feeling it is to be able to trust your mechanics, to do the work that needs to be done, and not replace parts unnecessarily. I would wholeheartedly recommend C&D to anyone looking for quality car repair and maintenance at a reasonable price!! C&D auto has been my Auto Center for years. Joe Roser office manager has always been extremely willing to navigate through all of your cars needs. The mechanics are always polite. Thank you Steve Deerman for running a tight ship. Would highly recommend.

Our car was towed by AAA to C&D Auto center. We had only used Lexus service in past as we are from NJ. We are very pleased with the service & competence that we received. They needed a part (fuse), and did the work in a timely manner. They could have said we needed an alternator, but only needed a fuse. I haven't been displeased ever! I have been going to them for 2+ years now. They have always given me their honest opinions when I felt uncertain about anything. They are decently priced, (honestly in the past I've called around to see what my options were, and they have been the best). I've not once, ever had to bring my SUV back for something they didn't do right. I leave feeling confident in knowing my SUV is safe, because of their knowledge, and quality of service.

I was in Florida on vacation when the fuel pump went out of my van. Without any knowledge of area I picked C&D Auto repair after researching local shops.A close family member passed away unexpectedly which cut our vacation short. Joe was very helpful and compassionate as well. I am thankful for their good care of my older vehicle and now I am ready to travel home safely. Thank you, Joe and staff! I appreciate it!

So, I don t do a lot of reviews, but I am compelled to leave a review for this shop.I have had my share of run ins with bad mechanics in my day. Unscrupulous or dishonest shops that try to squeeze every dollar they can feom you .C & D is not one of those shops.I brought my car in because of a noise that I thought was the wheel bearings. After the assessment they quoted me a price and I said ok.After they got the parts they went to work.It wasn t the wheel bearings, and they only replaced the parts they needed to replace. My bill ended up being less than half of the quote. Jim said they didn t need to replace the bearings, and they sent the parts back.Do you know how many places would have just replaced them anyway to make the extra money? Too many.Long story short, C and D is an honest, upstanding shop from what I can tell.They did great work, were courteous and professional, and they didn t do extra work that wasn t necessary, even though it was in the quote I agreed to.This shouldn t be special or surprising. It should be how business is done.With mechanics, though, from my experience, this is rare and exceptional.This is a good honest shop. They have my business for life.

In a world where decent customer service is hard to come by, the guys at C&D are a refreshing exception. My whole family and I have been going to C&D for many years, and we've always received honest diagnoses, excellent service and fair pricing. In an industry where it seems common practice to take advantage of folks who are not mechanically savvy, C&D has often times saved me money and reassured me with, "it's not as bad as you think." I have referred many people over the years, and everyone is always pleased with their experience.

My car broke down on a Friday.The most important thing I use it for is taking my Mother to dialysis which I needed it for the following day. My regular mechanic was too busy to see it until the following week. So I did a little searching online. I decided to call C & D based on the reviews. Well let me tell ya I was VERY satisfied. Joe was very understanding and sympathetic to my dilemma and got me right in and fixed my car in record time. I was very pleased with the cost of the repair and I will most definitely be using they're services again.

Great Service!!! I am new to the area and was looking for a mechanic. I chose them because they did some work on my daughter's vehicle and were very honest with her. They gave her an estimate and when the job didn't take as long as they thought, the adjusted the price down. I will always chose a business with this type of honesty; especially in the service industry. I scheduled an appointment for an oil change on my vehicle. In and out in 30 minutes! I have since had my husband's truck and my son's vehicle serviced here. #lifetimecustomer
