They repaired a tear in the driver's side front seat of my 2013 Mercedes-Benz. It looks like a new seat. I couldn't be happier with their work.

Brought my worn cover for my gas fire pit here to be remade using the old one as a pattern. It had 2 side seams on opposite corners. Got the new one home it had 4 side seams, 2 on the same side next to each other, 1 on another side about 1 inch away from the corner and another seam on another side. I would be ok with 4 seams if they would have put them on the corners. Couldn't even follow the pattern. Side seams should have been on the corners, would be a better fit. Good price, poor workmanship.

Had the 2 front seats reupholstered on my 2002 Ford F250 by A&E, there are no words to describe how happy I am with the work. The entire experience was top notch and extremely professional. They took the time to find the right color, arrangement for stitching with outside vendor to keep OEM look for me, pricing was very reasonable, scheduling was easy, and once the materials came in the work was done ahead of schedule and the quality is amazing. Now I have to get the back seats done because the front seats look so awesome. Can't recommend this company enough.Services: Seat rebuilds, Upholstery installation

A & E is an excellent Upholstery Shop. We have used them for our cars and our boats and their work has been superb every time.Their finished works looks exactly like it did when it was delivered from the factory (maybe a bit better). They are professional and their work shows it. They are also very pleasant and easy to work with.The latest thing they did for me was my front seat and side door panel sand I am thrilled with how it turned out. I will try again to upload pictures.I do not hesitate to highly recommend them.

Great longtime family business. I had a large custom boat cover made in 2015 and they spent plenty of time helping me design the right solution to my needs. They were SUPER competitive on price too! Just this month we went back and had my daughter's car's headliner re-done. Superb job! Nothing shows better for a great business than repeat customers! Thank you Don, for the consistent great work!!

I didn't even want to write this review because I am just not like that. But my dog made me do it. I dropped off a couple of boat cushions and when I picked them up and installed them on my boat, my boat doesn't work anymore BWHAAAAAAAAAAAAI have used this business a couple times to repair or remake some boat cushions that were worn out. All times, I got a great price, great service and great quality. Very nice, small, family owned business. Support your local fisherman!

Can t thank Donnie and his family of workers over at A&E in Melbourne enough. I took my 2013 Mustang convertible to him . He took one look at it and couldn t believe what a horrible job the last installer did putting the new top on my car. We made a appointment and when I left my car looked fantastic. Donnie and his guys are true craftsman. He took videos to show me all the problems he corrected. The price ,well I think he lost money really I think he did. I couldn t be happier with there work. I left there with a perfect job done and new friends what more could I ask for. Thanks again A&E.

Just had my drivers seat and center console lid re upholstered in my Silverado and 5 stars is definitely not enough. A & E did a fantastic job and at a great price. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thanks for the great service.

I had waited months for another company to do some minor repairs to my convertible top -- always too busy for me! But A&E scheduled me into their first opening, they were ready for me, made the repairs, charged a fair price and had my car back to me on time, as promised. They were great!

I Highly Recommend A&E Auto & Boat Upholstery !!!!Replacement of the torn seat on my 2004 Cadillac escalade was an extremely reasonable price. They matched the color of my old seat so well, you would never know it was replaced.I dropped my car off at 8am and it was done by 2pm. I love my new seat!I plan on using them for all of my future needs.Service: Upholstery repair

Went for a healiner replacement. Looks great and price was good, only bad side is my windshield now leaks. Would def have given a 5 star if he had fixed what they messed up. It didn't leak before we took it there, and he said he couldn't fix it. Unhappy with the fact that I now have to pay someone else to repair what they did!!!

As a Christmas surprise, my wife found A&E to repair a torn seat in my Mercedes SUV. The repair took less than a half day, and the repair is simply invisible. When I went to pick up the SUV I met Donnie, the owner. When I asked him how long they had been in business, he said proudly, 59 years . I hope they are around for another 59 years!!! The arm rest on our car had gotten worn down so it made the car look shabby. Everything else on the car was fine. A&E replaced the covering and made the car look new again. Color and texture matched perfectly. The price was fair and the work was done right. We couldn't be more pleased.

Needed a strip sewn into the bottom of my wheelchair seat to be able to use my car chair topper. They finished it Within 10 minutes.Great quality work. Friendly staff.Would highly recommend them to anyone who needed similar issues taken care of in the future.Thank you for all your help it s much appreciated.

I've had this place do a convertible top on my Mustang, and it came out flawless. So I gave them a try with reupholstering my driver's seat. Excellent job, and perfect job matching the color to my passenger seat. I'm sure I'll go back. This is my toy, and nothing but the best.

I had these fine folks recover the center console/lid for my girlfriend's Honda. The fabric color matched great, looks wonderful, good padding, good price, done pretty quick. I'll definitely use them again.

I recently had the seats reupholstered in my Ford Explorer. I am very pleased with the fit and finish of the seats. They look better than from the factory. I can even say "elegant". I am very pleased with the result.

I had A&E Upholstery replace my seat and couch upholstery on my motor home, workmanship was great and material was very good. If you need upholstery work you can not go wrong using A&E. Been have work done for 30 yrs and never had a problem .

The best upholstery shop in Melbourne! I have had them do boat seats and just recently did my entire Class A Motor Couch. Looks better then OEM now. Very fair prices!

I chose this place for my headliner because of the good reviews. I didn t want to even write this review because I m just not like that but every time I drive by this place I feel sick. I took my car here for a new headliner. When I picked up my car, there was a LOT of water pooled up on each of my air vents (which was odd) and my check engine light was on. I drove less than one mile before noticing the light and bringing it back. I also noticed there was still a stain on my headliner which I didn t even get a chance to bring up to the owner. When I came back I asked if he would like to come outside to look at the water on the dash and the check engine light and he refused. He tried to say at first that the light was already on. I own an OBD scanner so I scanned my engine and emailed him a report saying the light had turned on when the car was still on their property. Owner was very rude and condescending about it (not realizing I appraise and purchase cars for a living and probably assumed I was just a dumb young girl). After pleading with him to come look at it multiple times (and him refusing) he finally (begrudgingly) said to let him know what the damage was once I take it to a shop and he would pay for It the secretary was outside at this point because he became very loud with me so she witnessed him say this. When I called him the next day he told me he would not be paying for any repair and denied even saying so in the first place even though his secretary witnessed him say it, and went on a very long defensive rant about how long he has been in business for (which was very unprofessional as I was keeping calm during the entire situation, even the day of the incident). He also said the water on my dash was condensation because his worker turned my air conditioner on for 10 minutes with the windows down. I drive to Miami (three hour drive) very often with AC on Full blast and windows down. I have NEVER seen that much water on the dash before. The check engine light ended up costing me 1500$... I needed a new PCM. I have no idea what they did to my car the 6 hours they had it. Long story short TAKE A PHOTO OF YOUR DASH IN THE PRESENCE OF THE OWNER before you drop anything off here. I wish I would have done that so I could have more proof. They did not even offer to give me any money back for the 300$ headliner, which would have been fair in my eyes. I m writing this so that nobody else has to experience what I went through. I have heard very good things from my clients about Hank s upholstery (I am in the car business in the area) and I would recommend checking them out before coming here.In response to the owners reply: I didn t call you back a third time because of the way you were SCREAMING at me on the phone the day after when I called you. You denied that you said you would pay for it when I told you I had a mechanic look at it. Now you are not denying you said that? A PCM does not just go bad on its own. Look it up. I don t know what was done to my car at your shop, and you do not know either because you told me it was one of your guys that did the headliner. I would also like to mention that on the day I took my car in to have you look at it, you threw a key chain full of different colors at me and told me to go match it myself and come back inside. I had to awkwardly but politely ask you to come outside and match it for me. I m not sure how you have stayed in business this long treating customers like that. Be a professional.
