Dropped an inquiry on these guys through FB Marketplace, not expecting much. Next thing you know, The Panhandle Boat Guy gets back to me. Longish story short, The Panhandle Boat Guy answered every question I had with candor and honesty, even taking the time to send me some extra pics of the few bumps and bruises on my vessel of choice. Robert is that guy, and he is the quintessential old school salesman; gets you the info you need, does it promptly, not intrusive but always follows up. Goes the extra mile. Does what he says he is going to do.When it was time to pull the trigger and set up the purchase, Jeremy put together and thoroughly explained a financing package that fit our needs. Thoroughly knowledgeable and helpful.Time for the 500 mile one way run from SRQ up to Mary Esther. When I arrived the boat was clean and hooked up to the dealer truck and ready to roll for a water test. Went over the boat completely, everything checked out and I was on my way back home within a few hours.Great shop, kept their word in every aspect of the transaction and great to do business with. Made a very long day on the road well worth it.

We were looking for a mid sized boat. Both my husband and I had different ideas. He wanting a center council (yet he rarely has fished) and I wanting something we can enjoy with friends and relatives. Well David N. was our salesman. He was absolutely incredible. He let us just take our time and look around, no pressure or shadowing us. This gave us plenty of time on our own to explore. Yet he appeared right when we needed him. David knew so much about all the boats they sell. He had a magnitude of experience and knew each make of boat, literally watched many brands being built from the bottom up. He helped steer us to the boats that met both our needs and was so informative. Probably the best experience we ve ever had with a salesperson, and definitely knew his stuff. We later checked out ourselves much of the info he gave us on different brands and he was spot on on everything! And such a great personality too! Drew also, later, worked on providing us with the best possible deal. We are from Michigan and the only thing stopping us from not going with them is realizing we d have to go up north and back to Florida to get the boat home and this late in the year, in northern Michigan, no inside storage available. But regardless, if I were to buy a boat, we would have gone with them!

I recently purchased a boat from Sunrise Marine and I worked with Harley. He did an awesome job and made the experience easy and enjoyable. There was no pressure at any point and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a new or used boat.

What a great a experience from start to finish. Robert my salesman showed me the boat after hours my work schedule conflicted with the hours they were open. That didn t stop Robert from helping me purchase my chaparral. He wasn t pushy answered my questions which were many. Being a car salesman myself I can appreciate when someone goes above and beyond for a customer. Thanks to his exceptional customer service I purchased a boat and couldn t be happier. Jeremy the finance manager was straight forward with me didn t pressure me into getting something I didn t want or need. Its hard in sales to find someone like that. I looked around elsewhere at other boats. I wasn t pleased. Thank you guys!

My family custom ordered a Chaparral from Blake and his team at the Mary Esther location. This was our 3rd Chaparral (24 ft, 27 ft and This is a 30 ft) and 2nd from Sunrise. The experience of custom ordering it up to arriving was superb. Daniel did a great job keeping us posted and up to date through the process. We also had a few meetings during the building process to keep us in the loop and schedule the sea trial and delivery. When the delivery date came it was time to wrap up the paperwork and sea trial. I would say the process was wonderful starting with an idea on paper up to us driving away after the sea trail was flawless! Daniel was very knowledgeable and taught us many techniques with the new Joystick operation and about the new modern electronics and navigation equipment that we were not familiar with. The whole team at Sunrise performed well, exceeded our expectations and made this a wonderful experience- and our new ride is just as gorgeous on the water as she was on the Chaparral build your own page! The sign Sunrise has out front is correct! Today is the Best day to buy a new boat! Thanks guys!-KTB

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Daniel in purchasing our first boat, a WC 235cc. Despite us living ~6hr away from the dealership, Daniel made himself available to answer all the random questions that came up daily. He also took the time to provide a video and a live walk-through. He was prompt in answering all of our questions and provided us with more information than what we asked for. Upon delivery, Daniel spent several hours on the water with us, going over all the boat features and familiarizing us with the boat. He made the process of buying our first boat so enjoyable. All the staff were delightful and introduced themself. They all work as a team to make the boat-buying process smooth. We will be back when the time comes to upgrade.

Sunrise has some very nice boats on the lot. They are selling fast so they might be out of new inventory by the beginning of summer. Many of the boats I looked at were already sold.

Plain and simple Daniel is the best! He helped a couple of newbies navigate all of the challenges of buying a new boat. Friendly, professional, experienced he answered all of our questions and was always quick to respond. Absolutely amazing people there!! I should ve made this post sooner! I ve been dealing with the parts dept there a few times now and have had great service from all of them, but Rob C. has absolutely NAILED IT !!! He was helping me find a paperback manual for my 1988 Mariner 200 instead of a pdf. We weren t having any luck while I was in store and I didn t have much time but when he called me later that day with what I was looking for. I was sooo shocked and impressed. That s not the first time he has gone above and beyond!! Also the boat detailers were very friendly and helpful with all the questions I had about products and tips with restoring my boat. Really is a great place !!!

These people are absolutely professional! The salesman did a great job helping us find the boat that fit our needs and they were very respectful of our time and budget. The Manager Blake is 1st class and made us feel like family! We are looking forward to hanging out with them on the water! We met the service manager and we can tell he cares about us and will be there to help in the future

We picked up our new boat from Sunrise Marine in Orange Beach today. What a great experience from start to finish. We are especially grateful to our amazing sales rep, Cameron Harpel. He was very knowledgeable and personable, responded to any and all questions we had along the way from buying to delivery. As he initially stated, we become a part of the Sunrise Marine family and we truly feel that way.

Couldn't ask for better more knowledgeable staff! Maui assisted me while I was in looking at a few different models with a client and made the day a true blessing. He was very knowledgeable and was able to help my client pick the boat that was going to work best for their needs. The whole team here treated us with respect and treated us like family. Would highly recommend for anyone in the market.

Update.The service staff was able to locate our key and replace the missing items.When we took our boat to Sunrise Marina for consignment, our initial impression was great. They not only seemed knowledgeable of the local market, but also reliable.Unfortunately, after our signing the consignment agreement, Sunrise did nothing but ask for money and make excuses. No advertising or showing the boat. If we called for an update or went to speak with someone personally, we were given one BIZARRE excuse after another. When we finally had enough and demanded our boat returned to us, Sunrise Marine was unable to locate/provide one of the keys, anchors and various other items.We seriously regret not doing more do diligence before trusting Sunrise Marine with our business

I just want to share an incredibly pleasant experience that I had dealing with Rob and Shannon in the parts department of Sunrise Marine. I know that in this day and age, it is getting harder and harder to come into contact with people who go out of their way to be helpful. But that is exactly what Rob and Shannon did. Basically, I was having some electrical problems with my Chaparral 227 (lights and GPS screen). The boat was being serviced at another dealership which seemed to totally disregard the needs of this customer. After the boat was at that other dealership for 4 days, I was told that some replacement parts would be needed. But, they were not going to order those parts for another 4 days. So, I went to Sunrise to get those parts myself. Sunrise had the bow light in stock so I bought it right away. Sunrise then promptly ordered the docking lights which were drop shipped to my address. It then became apparent that two sets of docking lights had been procured....a situation triggered by the "other" dealership. Even though Sunrise had no obligation to do so, Shannon promptly agreed to take the duplicate docking lights into their parts inventory and refund my payment. And they did that with a smile. Both Rob and Shannon went out of their way to solve a problem which they did not create and I am thankful for that. So, I know, for sure, who I will choose to deal with in the future.

Typical, dealership. Expensive.Blew my mind today - I called in to service for a torque spec for a Yamaha engine mount bolts. The guys says, "There really isn't one. Just good and tight.""Really???" - because I know that isn't right. He was serious.And, "yeah, we just installed one this morning. There's a tech right here. I'll ask him but he'll probably the same thing. Yeah, same thing. Just use an impact and make sure its good and tight."Thanks for the heads up to not bring my boat there for repairs.

Bought a new chaparral boat from sunrise and was very pleased at the time. Dan was our sales person and was very helpful at the time of purchase. We also bought extended warranty for the interior. We were told that it will cover everything for 5years. After having the boat for about 6months we started noticing little rips in all of the seat cushions. It was brought to there attention. After a service I found a large whole in the captains chair. I contacted sunrise and they told me to turn it into the insurance it would be fully covered. Insurance looked at all cushions took pictures and said that they built the cushions wrong that they could fix them but it would happen again. They don't tell you there is a 2000 dollar cap on your policy. I need 5200 dollars worth of interior replaced and built correctly. Sunrise and chaparral have never gotten back with me to give me a answer how we would fix this problem. This should never have happened after 6months. It has now been close to 2 years and still no response. I went in there store last year and was avoided by that same staff that was so nice at the day of purchase. WHY?

A First rate experience from a very long ways away! I live in Montana and SunriseMarine sold me a beautiful 2019 Chaparral 21 Surf. We negotiated the price and did the paperwork all over the phone and online. They hooked me up with a very legit boat delivery service and I had my boat in a week. The boat was delivered in perfect condition and everything went flawlessly. A first class operation!

Purchased a used boat from Dan and couldn't have been happier. The process from beginning to end was streamlined and I was always informed of what was needed for next step. I traveled from Tampa and trailered the boat back same day with no issue. I can't wait to get the boat on the bay!!Great place of business and better staff! NO SERVICE AFTER THE SALE!I bought a used boat last year and was told by the sales person that service was just done on the boat. 50 engine hours later the engine stops working. The engine has a transferable warranty but Honda wants service records. I ask multiple people at Sunrise for the service records that show they did a service on it as they claimed when I purchased. Unfortunately they can't produce them. The used boat manager is a liar and doesn't return phone calls. Don't trust these thieves!

We purchased our R160 in February and have been very pleased! Andrew in sales helped us out tremdendosuly, and answered any questions we had. He kept us informed when our boat was being prepped for us! He was a lot of fun to work with, and I highly recommend him! Also, Heather in finance made the loan process stress free! She was fun to talk to, and very knowledgeable. All in all, I would do it all over again because of such a wonderful experience! 5/5 stars!!

Been an advocate buyer of Robalo boats all my life and never have I been told I cant buy out of the dealers territory, even after explaining to the guy I was military. What a joke. The seller, 'Mike Armano' (spelling maybe off) I was speaking with stated, " I can't sell you a boat if you plan on running it out of our area. Do you have family here in Destin?" I asked for clarification and he stated, "It's a Robalo thing." I've never heard such a ridiculous reason not to sell someone a boat. I have bought and owned Robalo boats from different states, cities, and never have I heard of such nonsense. Lost my business - like it matters but, buyers from out of their territory beware; especially military!! Don't waste your time dealing with that guy or Sunrise.
