Job:Replacement of front struts and replace a broken manifold bolt on the passenger side.It seemed promising over the phone at first, but it quickly turned into a complete nightmare. Got it back the first time after 2 days. Instead of being done, it now had a manifold leak on the drivers side!!!The vehicle now back in their shop for the 2nd time to fix what they damaged.But no, they didn't repair it.Instead, every day for 3 days, they had more excuses for not making any progress.After being told the same lies day after day, I decided to pick it up before they could do ANY MORE damage to my vehicle.The repairs were supposed to be 5 hours worth of work, but it turned into a total of 5 days, yes, FIVE days!!!Update:I got contacted by the owner of RQ Automotive the following week after picking up my vehicle. He seemed very concerned regarding my negative experience and apologized for it.He asked me to get the opportunity to correct the situation and asked me to leave my vehicle with them for one more day.I must say that I was very hesitant to do so, but he seemed very sincere, so I decided to drop it off at RQ Automotive again.He had my vehicle delivered to me by the end of the day and personally showed up as well. He was very sympathetic and a pleasure to talk with.It took 3 separate visits with a total of 6 days in the shop.I've been driving it for a few days now without any issues. I'm very pleased that the owner of RQ Automotive reached out to me and that he had the issue corrected.An excellent correction to a bad experience. Unfortunately, I had 2 previous negative experiences with RQ Automotive. Both were one star.My 3rd experience would easily be a 5 star rating. So I have changed my review to a 3 star.Update:Now, 3 weeks after the last visit. IT IS LEAKING AGAIN!!!Not only that, I now found out that this incompetent mechanic didn't even care enough to install the inner fender correctly.Seems like this shop has zero capability to do quality work.More than disappointed

Excellent mechanics. Not even the Ford dealership could fix the issue with my Explorer, so I took it to RQ Automotive and they got to the bottom of it quickly. RQ diagnosed and repaired the car fast. Professional mechanics explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. They charged very reasonable rates. And the owner and the entire staff are just nice and helpful people. I brought my Honda for a simple repair and I was amazed by how everything was handled. It was easy to schedule an appointment they came up with a repair and everything worked out perfectly. I will recommend this shop to all my friends and family!

I m so glade I find this shop close to my work. I stopped for tire plug and they treat me really good. The mechanic was fast and did a great job. Price was good and I will definitely coming back for my other vehicles.

It's hard to find a good and honest mechanic shop that has reasonable prices, but RQ Automotive has that as well as an owner, Eddie, who truly believes in doing right by his customers and going above and beyond, and for that I'm grateful and can highly recommend his shop. Adriana, at the front desk, is so kind and respectful as well.I brought my car in for 2 new tires, a rotation and allignment. The job was done well and within a couple of hours, even though I had brought my car in without a prior appointment. I highly recommend Eddie and his team!

I towed my car to RQ Automotive on April 5, 2023, because the engine would not start due to heavy rain. I requested a full diagnosis and a written estimate; however, the owner, Eddi, stated that he could only provide a verbal estimate at the time, so I left my car there to be diagnosed. When I called the shop a few days later, the owner called me back about thirty minutes later and told me that an "intake manifold" part needed to be replaced and that the job would cost around $850. Because I needed my car, I agreed. "I found it odd that they diagnosed so quickly; I REQUESTED TO SEE THE CHANGED PART, BUT THE OWNER SAID HE COULD NOT FIND IT!" The following week, the wheel pump began to leak, so I took it to another shop and requested a full diagnosis. According to this other shop, "The Intake Manifold" was never removed! So I called RQ Shop once more, and Eddie said that "IT WAS A MISTAKE FROM THEIR ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT." He refused to give me a refund, claiming that the only thing he could do was give me credit for the "misunderstanding." Because Eddie refused to work with me, I accepted the credit and returned my car to them to install another part that the car required (I brought the part this time). Eddie refused to account for the entire $850 credit, charging for three hours to install this part (the body throttle) and crediting only $350. Furthermore, he was screaming at me as if I were homeless, and then he went into his office and "said he was doing me a favor." Not to mention all the times I had to drive from Miami to Margate for them to fix the car. A place like this should NOT be on business since they are committing "fraud" by claiming to install new parts and not doing it so. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!

They fixed my AC that was blowing hot. It has been two months and have had no issues at all, the AC works great. It was a huge job and they handled it professionally. Would recommend hands down.Service: A/C installation & repairService: A/C installation & repair

They are the worst please please if you need a repair DON T use them. I asked if they could service my Hybrid Vehicle and guy repeatedly said yes! 2 weeks later and a $800+ bill I have a drained Hybrid Battery. A vehicle that doesn t work or crank up!!!! The absolute worst as I wouldn t recommend this shop to my worst enemy.very incompetent and dishonest people.Service: Electrical repair

Don't know where to begin won't know when to end the satisfaction I get from the manager pure hearted guy take time to make any recommendations and accommodations his team is excellent I don't take my car no where else not my first time not my last time. I recommend RQ AUTOMOTIVE to family and friends... I should stop you guys get the point. I have been going to RQ Automotive for several years. They have kept my vehicle in top notch condition even after 99,000miles. They are very attentive to customers and our vehicles. There services are professional and priced-right, and I am alerted to future service needs to my car before they become a problem. They also have the cleanest service bays I've experience. Took my car in with a check engine light on, paid a $75 diagnostic charge (hooking it up to a computer) to find the issue - they came back with a $900 bill. Stay away. I am also a small business owner and never giving out reviews but I just had to . Just took a car in for inspection. They reported the wrong miles to Carfax. Luckily, I had odometer disclosure and maintenance record from Toyota with the right miles to send Carfax so that the miles could be corrected when confronted with the lady who works in the front she acted like she doesn t know anything about it. She didn t even know what Carfax was and when I run the report clearly says RQ auto reported the miles. No way somebody can drive 28,000 miles in one week.

These guys are great! From the mechanics, to the shop manager and the owner Virgilio provided me with excellent customer service. Honest and fair pricing on their services. They put me back on the road in a timely and professional manner. Kudos to all the staff at RQ Automotive! I would highly recommend them.

This repair shop is a hidden gem. They appear to me to have sophisticated software to report diagnostic issues to their customers. They take pictures of anything suspicious and show them to the customer. For these reasons I feel that they are trustworthy. At first I thought them to be a bit pricey, but after seeing their thoroughness, I feel confident that it's money well spent since it's a solid investment in your major asset, your car. They are far superior to going back to the dealership for tune ups and repairs.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Brakes, Air conditioning, Oil change

My truck broke down while I was in Miramar FL. RQ send a tow truck to retrieve my car from the road, round trip about 80 miles. They fixed my truck next day. The service and honesty is what brings me back to RQ even though I reside 40 miles north of Margate. Ravi the owner is a pleasure to do business with. GREAT PEOPLE AND GREAT SERVICE!! Most mechanic shops tend to rip you off and try to overcharge. They were very compassionate and helpful with getting me what I needed in order to fix the damages on my car....I also happen to be out of state so the service and time dedicated towards me and my car overall was excellent. So happy I chose this place!

I wish I could give this place no stars. I came here for their high ratings and was very disappointed. I was disappointed with the way I was treated and the way the owner went out of his way to price gauge. I got quoted one high price when I first called , and then when I told him I d call back, to call around other places that were offering reasonable prices he then called me and said I was offering you the highest price quality ($3,000) to service the car. He didn t give me an option to chose between prices, just gave me the highest price and then he offered to bring it down to what his competitors were offering me which was ($1300)even the dealer was offering less . It s not about the money it s about the principle, you give the customers the option they think is best for them at the moment. You don t just assume all the customers coming in have money to spend like crazy. americans are already hurting financially at the gas pumps, grocery store, and rent increases. The last place you expect to be squeezed for more money, is your local (Non-Franchised) mechanic shop.

Outstanding experience: not only their customer service but the actual work performed.Unlike unscrupulous shops charging you for something that isn t broken or brand name shops upselling services to meet a quota at RQ automotive they go the extra mile to get your car fixed right the first time at a reasonable price always with a family touch. Highly recommended.

Needed knowledgeable, honest auto shop for 2 expensive cars, wanting to also save money from overpriced dealers. Got recommendation to use RQ and am so glad to now be a customer for over a year. They have done 5 big repairs for me and saved me a lot of money. I love that owner can pick up my car while I am at work, saving me valuable time. Need a great mechanic shop? Look no further.

The Instrument Cluster on my 2016 BMW X-5, has quit working so in addition to the speedometer, gas and temperature gauges the AC has stopped working too. After consulting few mechanics who couldn t determine the exact issue, I was referred to RQ, their Master Electrician and the Head Mechanic started examining the wiring and the computers for 3 hours, updated me with their findings, ordered the part.This shop offers the ultimate professionalism, friendliness and very fair prices.I stand by my review and absolutely recommend them at 100%.Thanks Sonny an the RQ team.Services: Electrical repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Air conditioning

This is by far the best automotive repair shop I have been to. We were out of town and decided to look at a vehicle to buy in the area. They did a very thorough job of inspecting the car for us and making sure we understood everything they found. They are honest, straightforward, and very friendly. If you live in the area or visiting the area and need your car worked on, these guys will definitely take care of you!
