When I lost my former mechanic and was looking for a new one, I mentioned it to my hair stylist and a coworker. They each gave me the name of their mechanic and contact info. These two people don't know each other and when I look at their recommendations they had both given me Dan's info. I took my car there and Dan's has been my mechanic since. I highly recommend.

Dan's was recommended to me about 7 years ago. I was sold from the first time I took him my vehicle. He diagnosed the vehicle, gave me a quote and did the repair very quick. He keeps you updated if there's any change on timeline.Very honest in the diagnosis and charges.

If you have any issues with your car don t look further. Corey is so helpful and knowledgeable. Dan the owner is a great guy who stands on quality work and great value. Thankful to have a business like this in my local area. Oil change was done quickly and efficiently.

Dan has a heart of gold this was my very first time here today for my AC on my Nissan he took my car in to figure out my issue and brought my car back out within 10 minutes with the problem fixed. I would recommend anyone here from now on out the service and the time he took to understand my issue was by far the best experience ever! He is not here to take your money or waste your time this man gets down to the bottom of the problem and is VERY AFFORDABLE!

I've only had to use Dan's Auto for flat tires so far but judging by how great and helpful they were, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who values an honest repair shop. Cory helped me the other day and he couldn't have been nicer.UPDATE: Yesterday I stopped to have two new tires mounted. Talked to Dan who is the most down to Earth guy and so easy to talk to. Cory did the tire changes and I have to tell you, I've never had tires changed so quickly. Honestly, these guys are the greatest. If this changes, I'll let you know but so far, awesome experience.

Honestly the BEST & HONEST auto shop you can possibly go to!! I went before work 1 morning because I had a nail in my tire and Dan helped me at 7:15AM when they opened at 7:30. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Recommend 10/10.

Dan has helped me multiple times with my Dodge Durango and my Toyota Tacoma. He is a rare find in this day and age, HONEST, and tells you straight. He's also given time 'talking me through' problems with my car so I could fix them myself and save money on having the shop fix them.He's definitely the first person I call when I have an issue. The day that I was lucky enough to find Dan s Auto Repair was the day I finally found a mechanic I could trust. Dan is fantastic! I wouldn't bring my car to anyone else, even though there are chain auto repair shops near me I'll go the extra 15 minutes to see him because I know he's trustworthy and dependable. In this day and age it's hard to find people that actually care for you, especially when things are tough for everybody. I went to Dan's Auto repair shop and I can easily say this was a very pleasant experience and Dan not only reassured me and showed me everything that needed to be fixed, but he also treated me like family something that is rare these days. When things are so tough, I would definitely say that everyone should be going to Dan's Auto repair. In fact, I'll even say that Dan gives me hope in humanity. Thank you for taking well care of me and all your advice about my car. I learned a lesson and he will gladly show you the way and taking care of your car and making better decisions for auto. I woke up this morning to go to work only to find one of my tires flat and another tire with a nail in its side wall. After calling AAA and waiting for them to come blow my tire back up, I googled a auto and tire shop closest to me, figuring that I would be on my way to have to buy a new tire, and probably be ripped off since my husband or dad wasn t with me- but to my surprise, I was lucky enough to find Dan! I called Dan s Auto Repair and told him that one of my tires needed to be plugged and the other most likely needed to be replaced, and he told me to come right in and he d take a look. Unlike many other mechanics out there that could have just ripped me off to make a quick dollar, Dan actually pulled the nail out, found that the tire wasn t leaking, and told me to keep an eye but I don t need a new tire today! He plugged the other tire and I was in and out within 20 minutes, and he charged a super fair (I mean SUPER fair) price for his time and work. It s rare that you find a honest, hardworking mechanic that is looking out for your best interest, so I am grateful that I have now found one right down the street. Thanks so much Dan!

What's more difficult; trying to find a new doctor OR a mechanic who won't rip you off? I think finding a mechanic is harder. However, I've just discovered a "cure" to the situation. Dan's Auto Repair & Tire in Margate is the place for your automotive needs. We needed 4 tires on our car and priced more than a handful of places. While price was important, so was reputation. Dan's had something like 39, 5 star reviews. He now has 40! Dan patiently explained our options and helped us solve the tire replacement issue without having to take out a loan! I was so impressed with his professionalism and honesty that he'll be doing a brake job for us. If you believe in supporting local, small business bring your car(s) to Dan's. He exists for all the right reasons!Services: Tires, Brakes

Dan is so sweet and amazing! We had a nail in our tire before a trip and he not only checked it out to find no puncture (at no charge to us) but he also talked to us about our trip and wanted to learn more about us. Definitely coming back here!

Dan is "old school" by this I mean he is cares more about the customer than the money. He has never tried to push me into repairs that are not needed. I have been using his Shop for many years and after putting up with the junk from dealerships and other individuals a friend sent me to Dan and I now have someone I trust. I love coming here! Very professional and get the job done well and in good timing! I'm highly satisfied coming from Dan's because they're really nice, generous and helpful. Dan shows no interest in honor my business due to lack of professionalism and not going the extra mile to assist to finding the problem or solution to fixed my car. I would not go back due to lack of customer service and going the extra mile. The message for you Dan of course I will not come to your shop on how I was treated disrespectful and not treated fairly. Due to your lack of customer service in which it was unfair this needs to be shared. If done been in business for 46 odd years you should already know how the new cars are made and older cars. You treated my vehicle like it was a piece of junk. Go back and get some more training Dan.

I recently moved down to Florida and I'm so happy my friend recommended Dan's Auto Repair to me. He is the first mechanic I ever had that I can say I truly trust. He takes the time to explain to me what the issues with my car are. He gives me a detailed list of what needs to get repaired and he makes sure that I am aware of what's being done and how much it will be before he works on the car.I had an incident recently that I was out of town and my car broke down. I went to the nearest mechanic and they told me I had to get a new engine. I decided not to do anything until I get Dan's opinion. Thank God I did! Dan fixed my car and my engine did not need to be replaced. I really appreciate his honesty and how fair he is.If you're looking for a fair and honest mechanic, he is the one to go to.

Used to goto Dan for years when I lived in FL. If your looking for an honest mechanic that cares about your safety out on the road, Dan will have your back!If you like getting screwed over and way over pay goto the dealership[I know I used to work at them]. But if your looking for that old school mom and pop shop. Please go support Dan. Its small businesses like his that are what made America what it is today!

This place is great !!! My friend started using him and was completely satisfied so when I needed a local mechanic - I tried him. I can't say enough ... quick service ... fair prices ... honest ... I actually got the recommendation to go here based on previous Google reviews. Upon entering the establishment, I was greeted by the owner, Dan who remembered my name from our call.
