I have been using Gormans for YEARS!!!! They represent true World Class Service. I have the ultimate trust in all of their people! Whatever problem your car has, take it to them for honest, phenomenal quality and totally great people and prices! Tim and the Gang here are truly old time garage style with heart and passion to take nothing but the best of care for their customers prized possessions. I feel 100% comfortable leaving my vehicle in their hands. I always get courtesy calls and updates and the prices are the best on the island !!! Bumper to bumper never a worry ! And the great service continues as always !!! Patched up a tire in 15 minutes !! Awesome service

Very good and friendly, I had oil change, ABS speed sensor, and horn replacement on my 2010 chevy equinox done. I can recommend this place.

My Lexus LS460 had suspension service here In 2022 (front struts) and they replaced the quality OE suspension with incorrect poor fitting uni struts parts that cost me over 5k to put back correctly with the correct struts and top hats. It was only 500 miles from replacement to me taking ownership of the vehicle and having to repeat this service due to this poor workmanship. Also, the brake service they perform on the vehicle was missing All the OE springs and shims for proper operation and was causing the brake pads to skip within the caliper totally trashing the rotor and pads and causing unstable pedal operation.

Set up an appointment for an oil service. Was told they only do service for people who wait 2x per day and you need an appt. After waiting nearly 2 weeks for the appointment I was told they could not guarantee that the car would be ready anytime soon. Could take upwards of 3+ hours because someone called in sick. Absolutely no commitment from them and no apology at all for the inconvenience. It was not so much that someone called in sick and the wait might be longer. It was more the attitudes and unapologetic nature of the person waiting on me, who appeared to be the owner. This appointment was a specially set up appointment and to disregard their commitment so casually was completely unacceptable. Oh .parking is terrible. I had to park out on the road in an area that is not designated for parking because their small parking lot was cluttered with cars. I d avoid doing business with this establishment.

I have never experienced such poor service. I brought my Jaguar in for routine service. The car was there for almost 2 weeks. They said I needed new tires and I agreed. (1600.00) The total bill for their service was $4500.00 and they did not do thei items I requested. My right rear tire sensor keeps indicating low pressure. I ve brought it back three times and it is still showing low pressure

My tire pressure indicator & brake fluid warning lights suddenly came on while visiting Marco Island weeks after Hurricane Ian. Despite being extremely busy, within 1 day Gormans mechanics had thoroughly checked my car, found nothing wrong & then charged me nothing for their expediency, time & labor! In an age of rampant price gouging in SW Fl., Gormans proves there still are ethical & empathetic business owners. Thank you for your kindness Gormans.Service: General repairs & maintenance

These are the nicest people on Marco Island. They helped me out with my car repairs on two separate days for two separate items. In addition I very much enjoyed the conversations I had with them. It was very informative about both Marco and about purchasing new vehicles. If I'm ever in need again I promise you, I will be at Gorman's.

My family and I were on vacation and got a flat tire. We showed up at 4:55pm 5 minutes before they were closing, and they opened the bay doors and patched our tire. The price for the patch was $37.50. We could not have been treated better with kindness and honesty. We drove home some 1,200 miles with zero issues. If you re in Marco Island and need an Honesty Car Repair Gorman's is your place. Tim, Cathy & Sean you should be very proud of your staff!! Thank you!!!

I'm a new homeowner on Marco but have been coming for many years and have heard that Gorman's is fair and family owned.As such, I've had to use them for my car a surprising 3 times now (1992 Miata). What I've learned is that they can be trusted and do simply amazing work. They're all about service, value and respect.Thank you, Gorman family and employees!!Services: Electrical, Oil change

Had a rather simple issue with our Honda Pilot - a screw in the right front tire (seems to be a common theme if you read other reviews). Made an appointment over the weekend on-line. Got a text message confirming the time. Justin said it would take about 25 minutes. Walked to Starbucks around the corner and by the time I got back the job was done. The price was less than I thought it would be. Based on this simple repair experience, I would certainly take any of my vehicles to Gorman's for minor or major repairs. Well done!

It's been 3 years since I wrote my first review on Gorman's so I thought it was time for an update because I am still happy with them! I am still going here for all my auto repair needs! Tim and Justin always get me taken care of! I HIGHLY recommend Gorman's for auto repair on Marco!!!************************************I took my vehicle to Gorman for a second opinion after receiving a quote that was outrageous. He was more thorough than the first shop, found 2 other leaks the other place missed and repaired everything for less than the first shop quoted.I have confidence in the quality of his repair and will be my go to shop moving forward.I would highly recommend this shop to all of my friends and family.

I must give Gorman's Auto the highest regards! I have used them for over 20 years and have always had excellent service. They only suggest what is needed and do not up-sell you ever. I drive all the way from North Naples when I have an out of warranty service repair as I trust this family owned business. So please disregard negative feedback as this is truly, in my opinion, one of the few honest family run automotive repair businesses left in Southwest Florida.

Tire gauge came on the day before I was heading out of town for a 10 hour drive with 3 teenage girls. The guys at Gorman's had me in and out of there in no time. Picked up a screw which caused a leak in my rear tire. So glad they were able to plug and patch it up it so we could drive safely back home. Everyone was nice and friendly.

I am from Chicago, vacationing here on Marco Island.We knew there was a slow leak in our tire and didn't want to chance anything on the way home.SO glad we went to Gorman's!Justin and Rick were kind and courteous. We had an excursion planned down the road at the marina and Justin suggested we bring the car in early so he could ascertain whether or not a new tire was needed (he'd need to place the order by 11 am). Not wanting to miss our plans, I expressed my concern and Justin said he'd get us a ride to and from the marina!Rick not only "turns wrenches" but makes an excellent car companion.The tire was fixed by the time we got back.These are good people running a good business.

Fast, honest and amazing. My dad and brother are mechanics so I m always really harsh on auto shops. My husband and I needed some help after hitting a raccoon in the Everglades on our way for a visit. They got us in and out in under an hour and it didn t even look like we hit anything. I m now strongly considering just driving to Marco from Miami next time we need our car fixed.

Down from Illinois for February, I try my best to patronage local businesses. I needed tires rotated & asked the local resident if he had any recommendations. He mentioned Gorman's & said they were friendly, helpful & very reasonable. I was met at the counter my the co-owner, Cathy, who politely & quickly got me scheduled. I arrived for my appt. & had the best experience with a auto repair place every. This is truly a family fun, mom & pop operation that deserves your business. You'll be glad you did.

Understandably, we were apprehensive about having our car s AC repaired in an unfamiliar place while on vacation, but we are so glad we found Gorman s! Tim, the owner, gave us confidence that they could take care of our problem and, within a few hours, they indeed had us cool again and for a fair price. He even provided a ride back to where we were staying while the repair was being done. We highly recommend Gorman s and only wish they were located in our home town!

I had a problem with my Hyundai Sonata. It just was not running right.So I dropped my car off at Gorman's Auto and received a prompt diagnoses. - It was what I had feared, my transmission was on it's way out.After going over my options with Tim, I decided to have the transmission replaced.The necessary parts were ordered and the transmission was promptly installed.I was back on the road before you knew it!.Changing a transmission is not a small task, you need a repair center you can trust to get it right.I have heard some horror stories out there. But thanks to the team at Gorman's Auto Center, this story had a very happy ending. My Sonata is running better than ever.I recommend Gorman's Auto to anyone with any kind of auto problems large or small.Great Service!Thank you

Had spark plugs replaced in my Mercedes Benz clsThey picked up my car from my work and brought it back. Excellent service, I shopped around other auto shops but can t beat the price and how professional and honest this company is. I m their forever customer.Thank Tim and Team Gorman s Auto !!

Felt like a rip off every time I brought my car there. People there were nice enough, that's why I'm rating them 2 stars instead of 1.Every time they fixed the car and cleared the code, it would reactivate within a couple of days and have to be fixed again at my cost. Also, 10k miles after I got 4 brand new tires from tire kingdom, Gorman said I need new ones and also said the tires were mismatched.

Excellent customer service!! Ran over a nail with our rental car while on vacation. Stopped into Gormans and Ryan dropped everything to fix our tire and it was done in 20 minutes!!Highly recommend this place!

Easily the best car experience of my life. I have no affiliation with them. I came in with a two flat tires I left with a car that looked like new for a fraction of what I thought it would cost me. Took very little time. That crew is a solid group of guys

Gorman's Auto is the most honest and trustworthy auto service I have come across. They are diligent and thorough and I will only trust my car to them. The family feel is my favorite part, and I will continue to drive out of my way to bring my car to them.

We all know auto mechanics can tell us anything and, for most of us, we are ill equipped to argue. You may not like what the guys at Gormans tell you or the estimate but I will tell you this: You can trust that the work and the costs are honest. I had better plans for the money I spent on car repairs. (Ugh. One of those things). Its been a month now and my car still runs perfectly. Gorman's deserves your business.

Drove down from Sarasota looking for property. Had a tire ply failure, thump thump thump. Asked siri for a tire store and she sent me to Gorman s. Great choice, they took care of me right away, reasonable pricing, they had the right tire in stock, got me back on the road in maybe 40 minutes. I would recommend them to anyone. John Juntunen

Exceptional service. I am on a construction site and picked up a screw in my tire. I called ahead and asked them if that was something they could take care of it and they said yes bring it right in. When I arrived they were ready for me and got me right in and got my tire taken care of. Very happy with the professional assistance.
