Marathon Diesel and owner, Luis Garcia, have helped keep my 6LYA-STE going strong for the last 10 years. 6,600 hours on her and she still purrs. We are lucky to have Luis and Marathon Diesel in Marathon. They are honest and extremely competent. 5 stars!

Marathon Diesel Repair is the best marine diesel repair in the Florida Keys. They specialize in Yanmar but work on most other name brands. I ve had plenty of work done by them and it has always been great. I would definitely recommend you call or stop by for all your diesel needs!

It is so hard to find a good dependable diesel service in the Keys. Marathon Diesel is amazing. I highly recommend them. They are so professional and helpful. They explain things and make sure you are happy. I have used many marine companies over the years and they are one of the best i have ever dealt with. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us and our boat.

Best around and Suzuki Certified. Louis and his team are the absolute best and most responsible repair facility I have ever worked with. They are honest and efficient. I had an unfortunate circumstance of bursting a hydraulic steering line 18 miles offshore. I called Louis when I got into cell phone range waiting for my tow. He had his guys waiting at my dock when I returned on the eve of a holiday weekend. They identified the issue and were back at my dock Monday morning making the repair with new parts. I have new Suzukis and he takes care of them like they are his own. I strongly recommend him and you will not be disappointed.

Luis and his staff were great helping us with our Yanmar 3GM which would not rev over 1800. Their techs came and diagnosed a blown intake and had the entire engine except the block and pistons off the boat in 3 hours Monday morning. They reinstalled Thursday afternoon and they came with us for a sea trial, where after some minor adjustments, it ran perfect. We were off to the Bahamas next day. Recommend Luis and his crew highly for honesty, knowledgeable and reliable, with super fast service and fair price. Best marine diesel repair company we have ever used.

Marathon Diesel was great to work with to get my diesel generator repaired on a tight timeline during a very busy time of the year. They were very knowledgeable and communicated well throughout the process. Would definitely use them again.

Marathon Diesel performed major repairs on one of my Yanmar diesel engines. They did the work quickly and kept me informed every step of the repair. They even went on a sea trial with me to listen and watch for trouble. The engine is running fine two years later!

The most disrespectful person I've dealt with. If you have an out of area number he will treat you horrible (he said that he saw my number and didn't want to deal with me) Do not recommend this place!
