Have used this outfit in years past for a hub was a quick turn around but very over priced. Fast forward to this year we needed a new axel. Took a month to finally get them to even look at the trailer. They said we needed to replace both axels and it was going to cost over 4k and would take a month to get parts. Little did this guy know I m a very handy guy back home just didn t feel like fixing my trailer on vacation. So Instead of letting this guy break it off in me we called Bernie s in Key West came to our house and fixed it the next day for less then half.

CROOKS! DO NOT USE this place for business!Sold me 4 hubs that ended up being highly inflated on price. (Napa down the street has them for 1/2 price by the way)Returned the hubs because they were the wrong size and did not work for my trailer.Hit me with a $100 restocking fee which isn t posted or disclosed anywhere.Will never return here. BEWARE!!

We took our 5th wheel to Steve twice to be repaired, and the first time he repaired it to make it stable and allow us to stay in it while in Marathon. During this first repair, he attempted to use a small forklift to lift our 16,000 pound trailer, and the forklift was broken, spraying hydraulic fluid all over our trailer. One might hope a lesson was learned here. We ordered parts and sent them to his shop to make the repairs more stable, as we kept having a repeated issue that the additional parts should fix. The second time we took our trailer to him to install the additional parts, he attempted to lift our trailer again with the same piece of equipment, and consequently dropped our trailer to the asphalt since the wheels had been removed. This left thousands of dollars in damage to our 5th wheel, that Marathon Auto could not repair. Upon pick up, we agreed that we would take the 5th wheel to a proper repair company, get a bid, and Steve would pay the amount to repair it. Let me stop right here, and tell you that if you take your equipment to Marathon Auto to be repaired and there is damage to your equipment, do not do what we did and trust a man's word; Instead call the police and have it documented before you leave the premisses. After receiving a bid from the manufacturer's repair company, Steve would never pick up the phone when we called (they have caller ID,) and would not return our emails. We had to file a claim with our insurance company, pay our deductible, and now insurance is fighting him over this, when he could have just taken accountability and been honest, like we hoped he would be, and after we gave him the benefit of the doubt. This repair shop is known for fixing cars and boats, and maybe they'll do a great job with that, but do beware that you are not working with someone that honors their word and is trustworthy.

Went in to inquire about a helicopter tour. They were very friendly, helpful and informative.We booked a tour for the next morning. The gentleman who had booked our flight was our pilot. Justin was amazing, he gave us a great tour, answered any questions that we had and was just an extremely personable gentleman. I would recommend him and his tours anyday.

We had a fortunate disaster during our vacation there. These guys fixed our axle on our boat trailer, set us up with new hubs and did the work for a price that didn't destroy our stay. Big shout out to Chris at The Tackle Box for recommending them!

Did a a trailer axle replacement with them earlier this year while I was in the keys. Very rude and unprofessional service from the management team, especially from Steve. Did not communicate on when trailer was ready. The repair took 3 days longer than they had promised. I had to constantly call in just for them to stay it was ready but they closed for the day so I would need to wait another day. When I got there they had my trailer left outside and gave us no assistant when they had helped another customer just before. I went to them because it was an emergency, but I would never go back there after my experience. Felt very unwelcoming by Steve and the employees. The work wasn t terrible, but it was very pricey for the work that was done as well. If you have the option, I would recommend looking elsewhere.Service: Boat trailer service

Brought my boat from Clearwater to marathon and snapped the trailer in Homestead and had it trailered on a flatbed to marathon. I was recommended by several local shops as I had no idea where to go. I m so glad I found this great group of folks to help out someone in a bad situation as the trailer was not drive able. I ended up having them go through and replace most of the trailer components and trusted them to have it for the week and was very grateful for them going above and beyond to have a great drive home over 400 miles. I spent more than I planned but was every dollar worth it as they were genuinely concerned with safety for my family above and beyond just a job. Thank you to all of you!!!Joel and family
