We pulled in after the office was closed and they had a welcome packet in a nice cloth bag waiting for us. The site was very nice. It was paved and wide and 80ft. long, so we didn t have to unhook the car since we were just there for the night. This is a golf club as well and it was so nice that my Husband thinks this would a great destination for a week long golf trip. The staff I spoke to when I called for a reservation was very pleasant and helpful as were they other campers we encountered during our short stay.

I should have done more research. This was nice but only if you are a golfer or pickle baller. We came for a quick weekend getaway with our 8 year old granddaughter. Nope! The pool was closed and there was nothing else for kids. No playground or anything. Good place if you are traveling without children. Disappointed that they didn't notify us of all the storm related problems.

The camp Site the golf course and the location we re all good. While, most people were very nice and friendly. We did feel like a bit of an outsider simply because a lot of these people had been there for months on end, and it created a very tight group.. we do think that those people that had stayed there for extended length of time had had a wonderful winter

Very tired and run down to say the least, the golf greens are mostly dirt and weeds, there is little to no maintenance done to the course, really overpriced for what you get. The pool has been shut down , we were told by the city inspector. The rental golf carts obviously haven t been cleaned in a very long time. The dog park was great !The campsites are nice, but certainly not what is pictured in the advertisements. The entire place just seemed very understaffed and overpriced. I m sure it was a going concern at one time but those days are gone.

This was our first time here and we were overjoyed. The sites are very large and easy access to hook ups. The grounds, bath house, office and dog park are very clean and maintain. The park was very full, but you would have never known, it was quite and relaxing. The grounds were very clean and the dog park is amazing size and clean. We will be back again soon for a longer stay. The staff are very easy to work with and go above there duties to make your stay enjoyable.

We love this place!!From the moment you arrive at Madison Golf and RV Resort, you can feel that you're about to have a unique experience. Nestled amidst the huge trees adorned with Spanish moss and towering pines, this resort serves as a picturesque haven for both golf enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. The golf course is in fantastic condition. Even though it s just a 9-hole course, the layout is thoughtful, and it integrates with the natural surroundings, providing an exciting mix of holes that cater to all skill levels. The course provides panoramic views of lush greenery and pristine waters at every turn. This naturally beautiful setting brings a tranquil and serene ambiance, allowing for a relaxing yet exciting round of golf. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Right from the warm welcome at the reception to the knowledgeable and professional greens staff, everyone at the resort seems genuinely committed to ensuring you have a memorable visit. For those who are looking to extend their stay, the RV resort facilities are second to none. A true gem in Madison, promising not just a game, but an experience worth cherishing.

I reserved 4 nights here to get an idea if this resort would be a good alternative to where we are staying this winter. We lived on a golf course for a couple of years in Florida, but we do not golf - we just like the idea golf courses keep their grounds clean and neat. Anyway, booking was easy and the price was acceptable for the length of stay. Arriving in a class A (we have a 43ft class A pulling an Expedition) for the first time is requires you take your time turning the relatively narrow residential roads, and through the golf resort. Not a big deal, but it is tight-ish. Check-in was easy and the resort sent texts to keep track of our arrival which I appreciated. The site we were assigned was level and concrete, and the pedestal was intact. Water pressure was just under 50 psi and the electric, as measured by our equipment, was always over 120v - no power outages while we were there. What we didn't like was the fact the roads around the sites are gravel, and the dust is enough to leave a light layer all over everything. The weather was PERFECT while visiting, and we had the windows open to take advantage of the low humidity and give the ACs a break. Unfortunately, the gravel dust is all over the inside as well. Most resorts restrict, or try to restrict RVs to newer models. Not here. We normally stay at resorts for longer stays, so I guess this is my misunderstanding assuming this would apply here. I would consider this a nice campground, not a resort. For the most part, everyone respects campground etiquette, but our neighbor was constantly moving through the grounds with his unmuffled pick up. And of course, nice and early as well. Oh well, every campground has one of these guys. A bright spot was the dog park which was simply outstanding - lots of fenced room and provided waste bags. And as a testament to the guests, we did not see any dog waste left behind. We really appreciated being able to let our dog run off leash. Even though the resort is near downtown Madison, if you don't golf, there's not much to do. My wife and I explored the area such as Madison, Monticello and Quitman. All are wonderful examples of old Florida panhandle towns. We did not use any of the amenities or happy hour. So, would we go back? As native Floridians and for how we travel and set up for winter as full-timers, probably not. I can see why it would be attractive to golfers however.

This RV park is very nice. RVs sites spacious. Paved, clean well kept. Perfect for dogs. Exception internet. In fact, we specifically chose this location over Regan s Rv ( formally Jellystone) because of internet services. The owner s need to contact U.S Marshall service and FBI because this RV park is perfect location for witness protection program. We arrived at around 8:00 pm after dark. Extremely challenging to locate unless you were an experienced trail scout from the Lewis & Clark Expedition. They might consider hiring the homeless as flagmen. If that s not feasible, neon blinking signs are highly recommended! One wrong turn and your day, or worse, night is screwed, especially if towing. You certainly don t want to exceed 2.5 mph and if there is oncoming vehicles, bumper car training and paid up insurance is advised. Hopefully Elon Musk Starlink will be operational soon and beacons will guide unsuspected Rv pioneers into this new frontier. Therefore, we give this Rv park a 4 out of 5 Star Rating.Ps. We will return.

We had such a nice time at this lovely RV resort. It is only a 10-15 minute drive off of I-10, and is worth the stop. Surrounded by beautiful trees, the park feels like you are in your own oasis. The lots are adequately spaced so you don't feel your on top of your neighbor. They have a huge dog run/park that your animals will enjoy to play catch, run around or just sniff. The amenities are also a plus; a 9-hole golf course, a nice club house with pool, pickle ball courts with a little tiki bar and nice clean showers. Lastly, the staff is so nice and friendly. We will definitely stay here again!

Was very very disappointed that the Wi-Fi and therefor the satellite didn't work. Had to use my hot spot the whole weekend which ran out my data plan. The gentleman that tried to fix it really didn't seem to quite know what was wrong. When my daughter in law suggested a discount on the price, since it was supposed to be included, he just kinda dropped the subject. When I talked to him at checkout he said it was all working so he couldn't explain why, and again just dropped the subject of a discount.Nearby activities: Golf course was nice

Madison RV & Golf Resort combined Golf with RV glamping! Their promo of "stay and play", by which you get the 3rd night free and a free round of golf is outstanding. The course is only 9-holes but very challenging! The condition of the course in July - August is better than most.No stars for room - but 4 stars for RV sitesThey also have a pool, which is very relaxing after a round of golf! Yes, they serve alcohol, but there really is no promotion to stay and drink. The club house is closed and the porch overlooking the pool seems abandoned and uninviting. The only downside is there is no food at the club house, nor a resturant. Madison would be served best if they offered Hamburgers and hot dogs. Yes they have pizza, but it does not mesh well with playing golf (messy) - and there is no offer to stay and enjoy a pizza or beverage after playing. You need a food and beverage manager.
