WARNING DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!This place has to be the worse place I have ever stayed at. I am surprised the health inspector doesn't close this property down.I have shared pictures of the shower curtain and two wall outlets. Those were the easiest ones to see the issues. The others would need to describe better.I arrived, and they did not have the room I reserved ready. They asked this one person to see what rooms are ready now. They had one room, but the bed still needed to be made. I had to wait for that. They got that done, and putting the key into and taking it out was not easy. Found that they did not provide linens and tried calling on cell, no phone in the room, and the phone was busy multiple with multiple attempts. So I went to the office and got linens and found that they do not provide shampoo. Went back to the room and my key got stuck in the door. A few people tried to get it out with no success. At 11;30at night they finally installed a new door knob. That is when I noticed other issues, including the attached pictures. I went to bed in my clothes I was wearing. Next morning I found that the door knob never latched to the door frame. Fortunately, I did use the dead bolt the night before. There is more but I think this is enough. If I could I would give this place a -5 star.Safety: Sucks

The rates are fair. It is an older place, but well kept, and quiet. There are room available for daily, and weekly rent, some rooms can be rented longer. There is also RV parking and hookups. The also can be rented at a short or long term stay. There is a gazebo and picnic benches.Management and staff are very nice and helpful.

Place was dirty, smelly and dated, cigarette burns in the sheets, curtains and floors. The door didn't latch or dead bolt closed! 30min in and my nose was running!! Was the main reason I couldn't stay . It was $80 a night non refundable! Bed bug dropping and dead ones by the air-conditioning! Had the maintenance man come jingle the locks around said he be back,, never showed after 2 hours, sure I'm missing other things!! Things you will need when you stay is( Glock, respirator and bug spray!!)and a credit card cuz they won't give your money back, place looks like they haven't spent a penny on it in 10 years! My advice just don't go!!

Stopped for the night and wasn't thrilled at all. The clerk took us to the spot on a kids' BMX bike and just rode back to the office. The rv section is not very well maintained. The site was small and pretty much all sand, ants, and very little grass, and no slabs. I would never stay here again and couldn't recommend it. If the hotel part of this is connected to the rv section, then I'd really stay away.

The room was dirty. Hair on the sheets. Toilet hadn't been cleaned. I had to wash my feet again after my shower because the floor was dirty. The hot water disappears as soon as someone next door flushes the toilet. The door has the flimsiest lock, doesn't feel safe. And the regular patrons are walking around in front of the rooms, around our cars and hanging out with no shoes and making it look like a halfway house. The towels are tiny and old. It's just not the type of thing you'd want to pay for. More like they should pay you for having to clean the room before you can sit down anywhere.

Rooms kind of gross. I was exhausted. Checked in, brought in bags and went to find something to eat. Upon returning to room and turning down bed I noticed there were black dog hairs all over the sheets on one bed. The other bed didn't have dog hair but sheets were old and stained. Walls in desperate need of good cleaning. Microwave filthy as was all refrigerator. Mattress cover had bed bug stains on it. Owner assured me no active bed bugs. See the i was exhausted statement. I choose to believe her. Hope I dont regret it. Front desk lady was very sweet. Would I stay here again? NO, i would go down the road to days inn and collect points. I had wanted to give the local hotel my business. Maybe I should have stuck with the chain hotel.

Honesty is best - 1st room had no working lock on door from inside, had toilet paper in peep hole and main door was bent like it had been forced open. Large gap in door at lower corner. - moved to 2nd room had bad door hinge on bathroom door, missing smoke detector and a lamp extension cord was used for microwave and mini fridge (the ground pins had been broken off so they could use this cheap cord).Bathrooms/showers for campers and by the pool were in VERY poor condition. Dark, smelled awful and a lot of dead bugs. The staff were friendly - more of a ma and pop style. The best part was that the pool was actually open and reasonably clean.

Stayed at RV site next to a rundown camper that looks like it's been there 30 years. Very rundown park and garbage everywhere. I took a shower and still felt dirty being there. All hookups be are outdated and rusty, but hey they painted them red.lol it was quiet but I will never stay again. We did hear they sold out but it's gonna take a few years and tons of money to at least bring it up a bit. Don't waste your money here.

Stay away!!! Room was dirty, including bath towels a d pillows embedded with hair and dandruff(eeeww!). Rooms are musty and poorly ventilated. No smoke alarm or fire sprinklers(major safety violation).woman that runs the place verbally attacked me 1hr before I was leaving as I walked my dogs, demanding I pay for them. The guy who cheked me in,waived my pet fee as I explained to an irrate woman who only wanted to argue and fight. I feared for our safety! That's not how you treat patrons who've been respectful and not complain about the poor run down motel rooms. I've never been treated soo poorly in ANY hotel I've stayed at. The BBB will definitely here of this!

We checked in but definitely did not stay. We have had issues with bedbugs before so my sister checked the beds in the room. Both beds were infested. Very happy we didn't bring our stuff in. The lady in the office seemed really shocked about the bugs but when she went to get her son to process our refund you could tell by the look on his face he was well aware of the problem. And its all one building so if our room (17) had them that bad, all of the rooms had to have them.

The customer care was good, the prices were cheap. There is a pool, a pavilion and if you have an RV there is a lot of spots along the woods that were semi private.I got a tent site, which was just a field behind their hotel and in front of the RV's, so it offered no privacy and quite ackward. I felt I was on display for everyone. The bathrooms appear to be run down a bit, though the showers were very hot. There is no lightning near the shower side, so I basically showered in the dark.

It's quiet here. Was an old KOA.Several abandoned mobile homes. We got here around 10 am was told she wasn't here yet come back after 11. Came after 11 & she said check in wasn't til after noon. No picnic table no fire pit. If you stay any length of time they stick you in the back corner. Then we lost water. Called & she automatically said someone hit the water & it will be off for a little while. I told her someone should have brought a note around to each. If you just want to chill it's not bad. Luckily we're at my daughter's most of the day.

Great Campground OvernighterJosh in check in was very friendly. This was a beautiful and quiet campground. We just spent one night, so we didn't get to take advantage of everything they had to offer. We returned trip a week later and stayed 1 night again. However, we were able to use the swimming pool, which was awesome. The pool was very clean and warm. It the perfect respite on a 97 degree day. Highly recommend it.

This was a Passport America site that we checked into for a quick 1 night stay, had to pay cash. Site was dirt pull through, no problems getting in, level, or pulling out, even broke down and left in dark. (We have a 3500 truck pulling 38ft toy hauler) The place could use some updates, more lighting around campground, but overall was good for what we needed. Had a big grassy area to walk our dogs, that is always a plus. Very friendly neighbor gave us crochet crosses his wife makes Closest grocery store was 6-7 miles away.

Really needs some clean up and paint good for a fast stop to clean up the RV expect to pay 10.00 for water lady started to go off on me about washing my toy hauler. I guess I should have asked first oh will it's clean now and I'm out 10 buck . down the road is a farm and it has the most awful smell coming into the park ( sometimes) . And this park has some old OLD trailers that should be removed. Like I said in short 1 or 2 night stay is all you want here

Terrible room service only cleaned rooms once a week and told me if I wanted my room cleaned I would have to pay an additional fee besides the weekly rate also told me if I wanted my wife and grandson to come visit that the adults would have to pay $5 a night ridiculously outrageous unheard of and also said if I wanted it cleaned to the way I wanted which is spray down bathroom toilets and showers I was told that I could also do it myself smh DO NOT COME HERE

Clean, comfortable, quiet place to stay. Hardworking, family owned business. Most highly recommend. Everyone should stay here if you're anywhere near the area. This motel welcomed the Gold Star Ride Foundation with open arms, even though we had no reservation, nor any advance notice that we would be there. We arrived late - nearly 10 PM - and everything was perfect. Can't wait to go back again!!!

Disappointing. The site was OK, but the whole park is just run down in general. We were given the password for the free wifi, but it kept cutting on and off. Glad we were able to use the Passport America discount, we would never have paid full price for this place, but it was in the right place at the right time. We were only given a receipt, no rules, no map, nothing and we had to call to find out where the trash dumpster was.

The owner made last minute accommodations allowing us to stay and we greatly appreciated it. He is such a nice man and very social with the guests. We sat at our campsite having good conversation with him. He made us feel welcome.

Rooms we were given smelled very bad. One smelled like dead fish. Sheets looked liked they Had been reused. Heard a dog barking next door. We asked for refund and got a attitude from clerk. She didn't believe there was a dog next door, she said lady lived there and had no dog. Clearly we could hear it. She kept 30.00 for so called clean up fee cause we had already been in room for 15 min.

Nice park. Lovely clean pool. Bathhouse just fine. They said most campers just over night on their way, but with the lovely grounds and pool, we could have stayed a few days. So glad they are in Passport system.

Absolutely horrible. Stopped and got a room passing through and the sheets were dirty and the fridge was unplugged and the door cracked. Mold growing out the door was unbelievable. Owner stated this was her best room and reserved for family only and her son wasn't supposed to rent it out. You couldn't pay me to ever stop here again.

The campground isn't much, but it has long pull thrus, w,e and sewer. They were really considerate and accommodating when we had to extend our stay because of truck trouble. Those qualities are what is important to me. They accepted our membership discount which helped a lot. Definitely would recommend them.

The door looks like it s been broken into several times, and doesn t shut all the way. The window easily opens from the outside and does not have a lock or a screen. There is what appeared to be vomit or some other unidentified clumping of substance on the curtains. Stains on all the (wrinkly) sheets, cobwebs and dead bugs everywhere, brown drips of a different unidentified substance on the walls. We tried to see what our options were at the front desk and were told flat out no, and that there was nothing wrong with the room whatsoever.

I agree with many previous camper s reviews that this place has deteriorated and needs complete renovation and upkeep. Many year long residents have let their sites implode.Passport America campground, but does not promote it.Campground pix from my morning walk.I stayed one night only enroute to final destination.WiFi signal in campground was strong but every couple of minutes it would drop the signal to my laptop and cell phone.Probably was a nice RV park in 1970. Front office and surrounding area smelled of cat pee...Daily campers should be segregated away from long term residents. Paint and weed whacking would help quite a bit.

While traveling late at night ( around 4:00-4:30 AM ) I developed a massive headache and was unable to safely drive. The lady at the counter kindly informed me of check out time and rented me the room. The local chain hotels would NOT because of the time of morning, being to close to check out.I feel like that act of kindness very well could have been a life saver. Thanks
