Quality work- Fair pricingI live in Valrico and while in the Lutz area on business a couple weeks ago, a freak mechanical failure made my vehicle unsafe to drive. I stopped at VE Motors as they were the closest mechanic shop to me. They quoted me a fair price for the parts and labor required. And when the installation caused another part to break( as often happens with older vehicles), they resolved the problem and honored the original quote.

Brought our car in for the first time and I loved the personal service and the work they did on our Toyota suv. Not that any of us look forward to car repairs but I won't hesitate to go back. Thanks so much!

This is a local shop that has capable mechanics, able to get you in a week or less , honest, Honest , Honest, Honest, did I say Honest, and affordable. Family owned husband and wife team , staff goes out of their way to accommodate you. I normally wait , since we have one car in the family. The mechanic gave me a ride home and picked me up when it was fixed. I only live a mile away , but still I appreciated it. Any work that isn t under warranty gets done here. They have fixed AC, Brakes, electric fans, windshield wipers, water pump and timing belt, oil changes, tune ups , tire rotation, what ever I need they have been able to do it. When the mechanic gave me a ride home we talked and he was also an aviation mechanic who worked for a international aircraft company so this are qualified mechanics . The prices are drastic compared to a dealer vs VE Motors, which is so much more affordable , and they don t Nickel and dime you. They tell you what you need and when it needs to be done. The waiting room is near and clean , they have a bathroom and a tv, owner has a big bowl of candy too. I am surrounded by dealers and franchises shops and I refuse to use them. I would recommend this business. They were willing to take in my vehicle with a challenging issue that a dealership was going to charge exorbitantly. They took their time, gave me updates and serviced my vehicle.

I ve had a hard time finding someone willing to work on my 1999 Corvette. They eagerly accepted the challenge and I am extremely pleased with the service and the result. Car is riding better than ever with ice cold air conditioning again which is not easy with a black car in Florida. My first visit to VE Motors was over 10 years ago when I was referred by a co-worker that they did foreign car repair for a lot less than the dealerships. It turned out to be true, but even better than that, was the personal service of the owner and his mechanic. I've taken my BMW and Honda's there now for 10 years, for repair and for regular maintenance. I save at least 25% than from the dealership. They do most the work the same day and I've never had to go back for the same thing. I usually ask them what I should be considering for the future and they tell me what I should be planning on doing to keep the cars in top shape. They even tell me the sweet spot when I should sell a car (at a certain age or miles) to avoid a costly season of repairs. They happily work on cars I buy elsewhere, but I've bought one car from them and sold one car to them. They were very fair on the prices for both. I really can't think of a bad experience I've ever had with them over 10 years of going several times a year considering my family has 3 cars. I've referred all my friends there and everyone has a great experience and loves the prices. I would recommend you get to know Al, the owner, and even though the head mechanics have changed about 3 times in 10 years, he always finds great people. And don't forget to get a piece of candy from his jar in the office - but leave the tootsie rolls for me!*the owner is also a Christian and a good man. He is a first-generation American and has an amazing story of hard work to get to where he is now. A real American story.

Back in November of 2020 I brought a 718 Cayman here for alignment and oil change. Service was good. I brought my own oil & filter for install, they had no issue with me providing my parts then. In June 2023 I referred a friend for a VW rack install after agreeing to a price. They aggreged to install a refurbished unit I ordered. At work completion there were additional charges not agreed upon. I used to recommend family and friends here. I now recommend going else where. If you choose to use this service center make sure you have all services and charges agreed in writing. Consumer beware, that manage/owner Al, may not honor work price quoted!The owners reply below is disingenuous. Take your service needs elsewhere and avoid my own and two friends negative experience with this owner. I formally apologize to any who may have followed my past good reviews of this shop and experienced bad care/outcome. Note my issue is not with service rendered, but with customer care. Tim was awesome, not only was he friendly but he was honest. My wife took her smart car in, he told us he was 73 percent sure of what it was. He was 100 percent right. He found the part cheaper then anyone else and it was a new and quality part. He even said if he could not finish the car that day he would drop us off at our hotel, wow, what service. If you need something fixed, Go Here. I just can't say enough. Thank you Tim, God bless you.

We purchased an older Mercedes from V E Motors. When we took it out for a test drive the convertible top did not work correctly. We drove it back to the dealer and expressed concern. He then ran through the steps of operating the top correctly. It worked for him at the dealership was told you have to do these particular steps and not stop midstream or it will not work. We went ahead and purchased the vehicle. Big mistake. The top once again started malfunctioning the next day. We also found hydaulic fluid leaking in the trunk. Emailed the owner. He did not return my call. His manager did and basically told me they would not do anything. I believe they knew there was a problem with the car and it was going to be an expensive fix or they would have fixed it themselves. Now I basically have a gigantic paperweight. What good is a convertible without a working top. Now i get to spend thousands of dollars to fix it.

Great Service. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Take my cars from Oil changes to tire purchase. Had Engine light corrected and has not returned for my BMW. Highly Recommend even repaired sensor that was bad which BMW could not figure out with 5 visits and $300. Staff has been very accommodating with hours and even drove me home and picked me up when car was ready.

I was having a problem with my air conditioning and they thought they could solve the problem with simply putting anti-freeze. Before I brought my car in, I told them that my car's A/C was making weird sounds and that I put anti-freeze in myself earlier, but it just got hot again. Obviously there was a leak somewhere, but I wanted to see what they would say and what the pricing would be. They wanted to do everything but fix a leak and charge me $700 for the entire service. Overall, bad mechanics who have no idea what they're doing and way overpriced.

Reliable and trustworthy place to have repairs done on your import or domestic automobile. The old owner Al bino is knowledgeable of vehicles and explains all work clearly. I've dealt with this shop for several years and never had to take my car back for the same problem. Also sell used autos.

Had my starter replaced on my BMW X3 by this shop. Great work and reasonable pricing. They also didn't try and sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't need done. Will gladly go back next time something breaks on my X3.

My experience with Albino and his service have always been great. I have been using his services since they opened and I am always very pleased after they are done working on my car. My family owns 4 cars and we take all of them to VE Motors. The staff is very professional and friendly! I highly recommend VE motors to anyone who is in need of great mechanical service!

Horrible mechanic and salesman. we purchased a vehicle from his used car lot that had an oil leak which he claimed to repair before we made the purchas . He was aware we were buying the vehicle for our child as her 1st car to get her from work and school. a few weeks after purchasing the vehicle it ran hot. We brought it back in and he changed her thermostat which allegedly was the problem at our expense. 2wks later my daughter called us because her car was running hot and wouldn't start, so we had her car towed to another mechanic only to find out she had a cracked radiator and needed a new thermostat. and the oil leak that was allegedly fix was actually leaking into her engine. Basically we purchased a car that should have never been sold. I called the owner at Ve to explain what was going on and he all of a sudden couldn't speak English and wasnt understanding what I was trying to say. Before all the problems started with my daughter's car, I took my vehicle to him to repair an issue which he did fix, however when I picked my car up it had a gas leak which was not there when I brought the vehicle in. When we told him that the vehicle smelled of gas, he stated to us he didn't have time to look at it and for us to bring it back to him. Needless to say I never did since he didn't have time. I took to another mechanic Christen Brothers to be exact who fixed the problem correctly. Because we clearly didn't have a good experience I would say don't bring you vehicle or purchase anything from this gentleman.

I discovered nearly 3 years after I had work done there that while I was charged for replacement of 2 engine mounts that they only replaced one.I discovered this while undertaking an engine and transmission replacement at home. Imagine my shock when I saw very clearly that only one of the engine mounts in the car were not the original mounts. It seems that the OEM mount was just shined up enough to fool me. ZERO doubt in my mind, I was tricked. There was one aftermarket mount in the car. I guess I should have looked more carefully when I picked the car up. The mount that they actually replaced is high quality, but not worth the price of two mounts and labor.I would not only not recommend this shop, I will tell anyone that asks and maybe even some that don't about this rip off.

I have had a lot of work done here and at first it seemed good and Al seemed great. Then i refer my sister for some regular stuff (rotate tires etc). When she got it back from Eric she couldnt drive it. Took it back and he said something about instalation eror and fixed it. Well i wasnt going back till a local dealer said i needed ball joints. Took it to Al and told him about what happened before but wanted to give him another shot because i felt i could trust him and about Eric and my sisters car. The next day Eric calls me and says i do need the ball joints and i also asked them to check the air. Well i went back for the air and told Eric that i am sure it will not be as much as the ball joints were and he was only too happy to tell me that it would be. Its the compressor and it would be 800 bucks. And o yea you have a leaking radiator. Didnt do it of course. This was a little over a week ago and now im hearing some grindings when i go slow. The fluid level in the resevoir has stayed the same and i see no leaking. I will try a new mech tomorrow. Burned twice.

Tim & Danny saved the day for us! I noticed a wheel on my trailer looked odd so I pulled into the gas station next door and sure enough the wheel bearing was shot. I asked if they might be able to help and they jumped right on it, even with bays full of cars. I cannot thank them enough.

I have brougth my car here 3 times and im not gona lie it is pricey but i have never came back wht the same problemi been going there for 4 years now the crew looks professional and yes very puntual they will give you a free estimate and the owner its cool too

I called just to have spark plugs installed in my car and the assistant said the boss doesn t want to do it. Just a bit thrown off because this is a mechanic shop
