First and last time visiting a Valvoline location... date of service 2/6/24. My air stopped blowing cool air so when I went in to get an oil change I mentioned it. Josh and Michael were working, and recommended an air conditioning service to check the lines and freon levels, which would only take 20 addition minutes. I was told at the time if this didn't fix the problem to go get it fixed and come back within 30 days to get a full refund. I asked to make sure it would be a refunded if fixed, which we were told yes. I agreed and had a witness in my vehicle. They set up the machine, started the test, and after sitting in my vehicle for 30 minutes my passenger got out to ask how much longer. And it was not busy, they only had one other vehicle at the start if the ac test. Josh came out looked at the level and said a bit longer for the test. We watched Josh leave work, as I was his last vehicle of the day, and another person go to lunch and come back from lunch. He said "where did Micheal go? You are done with the test".... we told him that no one came over to assist us and we were wondering if we were forgotten. My passenger had to go with the worker to track down Michael to tell him the test was complete. At this time Micheal said that it was not the freon levels or any cracks in my lines. The other worker took a look at my vehicle and said he thought it could be the compressor. Micheal told me he knew a good mechanic and could give me the name and number. After waiting an additional 15 to 20 more minutes he walks out with the number, hands it to me...thinking I was all done I was ready to leave after sitting there for 2+ hours for an oil change and ac test. He told me not quite yet, I need you to sign this paper stating we ran an ac test and that you have 30 days to come back if you have it fixed. I asked for a copy of the form and was told they do not do copies, my passenger was the one to mention taking a photo of the form. I rushed to get my ac fixed and to return within the 30 days for a refund (3/3/24), bringing in the same passemger with me. Only to speak with Derek (on his shirt who said "that's not my real name,") who informed me they do not do refunds, and it was to refill my freon, which was already full from getting it fixed. Josh was there at this time and came over stating he didn't know that we were never informed of the process or signed the form before the service, as he had already left for the day. We asked who's signature for employee was at the bottom of the form only to find out it was Josh's and he even said "that's not my handwriting, mine is more eligible." After sitting there for over a half hour and a few phone calls between "Derek" and Michael, I was told there was nothing they could do for me since technically I put my name on the ac form. I would not waste my time in the future with this location.

If I could give 0 stars I would, this company did a full service oil change and I paid $108!!!! and they were supposed to check all of my fluids and lights & things and left my car with stuff not reconnected. My car started making weird noises and I popped the hood and my air filter was still disconnected as well as other wires/cords. Also all of my fluids that were supposed to be filled, were not. This place has potentially ruined my car and now I have to take it to the dealership to be evaluated and repaired. Another hundred maybe thousands of dollars I ll have to spend because of this company. DO NOT GO HERE!!!Service: Oil change

I just want to say Josh and Mike were very kind and truthful of the services they recommended. We had a change of heart to try a new location because we didn t have a good experience at another location. I m glad we gave Valvoline another shot and we re grateful that Josh and Mike serviced us today. We will be back to this location for sure!!!

The best fast place I ve been for an oil change. This is going to be my place to go from now on. Very profesional. Communication was great. The employees very respectful and knowledgeable. They answer every question with patience.Go and ask for Michael he will give you the best options at the best prices.

Stopped in for an oil change and decided to do a radiator flush too. Quick and painless. Mike the manager is quite nice and the service is very good. I d go again for routine maintenance that I m too lazy to do myself.

Been coming here about a year and wont go anywhere else. Josh is very helpful and knowledgeable. The manager Mike also is second to none, staff is young but they know their stuff. Recommend it highly. Great job team. Ben is also a great asset to the team .

I got there five minutes before they opened. I waited inline for a couple hours before. This time I was the only one there. How good is that. Mike the manager was good. Just maybe because that is my name also. I was out of there in 25 minutes. Holiday season is why no one was there. Great place to get your oil changed.It was all good for me.

Pulled up to an empty bay at 1:55 Friday afternoon. A gentleman pulled me right in and said someone would be right with me. At 2:05 a guy came over and immediately told me they had discounted prices since they were competing with Take 5 down the street so they weren t accepting coupons. Then the phone rang so he said he d be right back. At 2:20 he was still on the phone so I left. I ll try Take 5 down the street I guess.

Disappointed, for $120 oil change (full synthetic) you'd expect them topping off your windshield wiper fluid. Oil splatter around the engine bay. I suspect them using impact wrench on my drain oil plug. Even with the $10 off, their pricing is out of this world...guy tried to give me 3k mileage sticker, laughable and recommends tire rotation on a very obvious staggered wheel setup. Local dealerships' prices are most reasonable if you're willing to look and some waiting in customer lounge.

Unfortunately I have to update this previous 5 star review. My husbands brake light was out, which I knew was the top brake light above back windshield because I noticed it the day before and just mentioned a brake light was out and knew he was going to get oil changed the next day. They replaced and charged him for back bottom left brake light, he couldn't see since he's sitting in the car pressing the brake and was counting on them to look and tell what brake light was out. After he paid and went to leave, the brake light out indicator was still on, so he asked them to check again, they charged another $13.99 for the one bottom right brake light. Went to leave again and light indicator was still on, brought it up again. They couldn't figure out why and said it must be a sensor. He asked if they checked the back upper brake light and they didn't... that was the one that was out, charged ANOTHER $13.99 and replaced that one and the indicator light went away. We paid $30 extra for their incompetence to use their eyes and see what light was actually out. This was both of our go to place, but will be checking out the new Take 5 across the street now. Honestly, if they can't get brake lights right, I don't trust the oil change service anymore.Service: Oil change

As the Service Manager of a shop myself, I am thoroughly impressed by this location and staff. I see far too often that instant oil change locations have gained a negative rapport. However, these individuals are truly masters at what they do. Ben, Easton, Victor & Mike treated us like royalty. Within 30 minutes they changed our oil, replaced our wiper blades, our engine air filter and replaced a headlamp bulb. The level of professionalism here is outstanding. Thank you for all that you've done, Valvoline of Lutz! I appreciate you all. We'll be back!

They announce each step. Ask prior to touching your vehicle.Total wait time to out time 10 mins tops! I would recommend this sight and we will be return for our next oil change. Thank you!

I have been here multiple times and have been highly impressed not only by their service, but by their care and courtesy. This time, Emily helped me with my service and I was blown away by how much she went above and beyond. No matter how many questions I asked, she answered them all with kindness and provided thorough and knowledgeable answers-- even to unrelated car questions as she had worked at various car maintenance shops. She really took her time and wanted to make sure that I was taken care of. As a woman going in for car needs, usually some part of me is anxious going in for maintenance in general but I am grateful that this place exists and that they have such amazing staff. I will definitely seek out Valvoline in the future, but I will especially come to this location specifically. Thank you again, Emily!

The slowest service ever. I sat for 1hr in the bay with my hood up. I have never been to a place where the service was so slow. I looked down the line and everyone looked as confused as me. Like why I am I sitting here this long wishing my Sunday had not been wasted. There wasn t even a lot of people. Employees standing around looking lost and only one guy down below with the oil. Yeah, so won t be coming here again, or recommending to anyone. Watching paint dry would be faster.

Don't go unless you have unlimited free time. They claim to be a 15-minute oil change place, but I was just there with only one person in front of me, and it took them 40 minutes to finish that person. I had to leave without even getting the oil change because the wait made me late for another appointment.

Service was quick , like stay in your car quick. New company. The old owners were less expensive and offered a free car wash with your change. New owners , not so much. Still , a competent service w quality products
