Worst experience ever! Please believe everyone that has had the bad experiences, it is true! They are crooks. They literally held my car for a full month because I told them I did not want them to work on it, until I finally caved in and had to fork up the cash for a job I didn t even want done. They pretty much forced me to accept them to work on it. When I payed for the service because I needed my car back, the job still was not done correctly. I will be reporting them to BBB, this is unethical. Mike is a crook!

DO NOT GET YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED HERE! GEORGE IS A BOZO AND DOESN'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT CARS! WILL FIX ONE PROBLEM JUST TO MAKE ANOTHER ONE WORSE WITH THE VEHICLE AND YES IT IS TRUE THIS PLACE WILL ALSO NICKEL AND DIME YOU TO DEATH! I AM SUPRISED THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS! THEY HARDLY HAVE TECHNICIANS ON SITE AND WHEN THEY DO HAVE THEM THEY TAKE THEIR SWEET OLD TIME WITH REPAIRS I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS SHOP TO A DOG! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE AND LOOK AT OTHER OPTIONS ELSE WHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do not waste your time Mike is a great guy, but the people doing the actual work are brain dead. You will need another mechanic to fix their work.They replaced a transmission seal with the incorrect part and kinked the lines so bad that it caused an even bigger leak.

please take this advice (extremely useful information )Terrible terrible. Terrible terrible you should never go to this place at any cost. They will break you car more than it is I had a wight Ford 250 We had this car in this workshop for two months still isn t fixed. WE PAYED MORE THAN ABOUT 50,000 DOLLARS HERE AND THE CAR IS STILL NOT FIXED WE ALR Tired of this place NEVER I REPEAT NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE IT WILL JUST BURN BURN MONEY they say it will be very Monday then they say it the next week then the next week then the next week it will be ready please take this advice

I took my truck to Mike and the crew lead by George. My transmission was not an easy task to do as it had multiple problems.They provided the work and away I went. Unfortunately, the transmission broke down, but Mike immediately jumped into action and had the truck towed back to the shop and provided me a ride home.He and Geogr repaired the problem, which in fairness was NOT their fault as a bad torque converter destroyed itself and the newly rebuilt transmission in the process...Mike let me use a vehicle, and they repaired all required with the torque converter and transmissionI am extremely happy with all they have done for me, and I am a hard person to win over, but I have been.I recommend this crew and what they do.Sincerely, Mark kasm

Had my truck for 4 weeks after telling me it was a same day fix. Once i finally got it back it ran for 3 days and had the exact same issue. Waited another 8 weeks literally while he swipe over and over "I'll get to it today, on my word as a man." That took 8 weeks. Got my truck back two days ago finally. Ran good for one day. Today i crank my truck and it says "reduced engine power" and will not accelerate. I've spent over 4k with this guy in the last 4-5 months and he still can't get it right. Don't waste your money here. George and Mike are liars!!!!!!!Oh and they lost the cover to my truck engine and refused to replace it!

0 stars do not bring your car to this place , they are scamming and stealing money from they customers, all the bad reviews are true , if you come to this place is by your own risk , the owner is a lier he lies all the time please read the reviews before bring your car

If I could give 0 stars I would. Brought my car here and had to bring it back over 5 times within a couple weeks of the service being "done". Paid 4,000 for my car to break down and not be drivable. Front desk guy mike doesn't listen or provide accurate information and the owner Jorge is unprofessional, only words he ever spoke to me after numerous times of going in there was "how's your wifey''. Disgusting. I would stay away.

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this place has had my car for a month now...didn't even send in a diagnosis to my insurance company so I can't even get a rental.. Mike, at the front desk told me they did, but my ins company told me they were unable to get in contact. Straight crooks

Terrible !! I was told car was ready.. I walked into a mess! My power steering was empty, antifreeze ended up being a gallon down, my battery was dead!I had to add fluids myself in front of the owner George . He was useless, unapologetic didn t help me get my own car ready!After going to another shop afterwards I found that most of what they did was not done properly and I lost count after 7 bolts were never put back on my radiator support area!!! What a bunch of Hacks!!!Never ever go here !!!!

I have a 2002 Ford Explorer that I had them completely overhaul the transmission a year and a half ago. Yesterday my transmission went out again and is having the same problems as before. I've only put 25,000 miles on the car since the overhaul to the transmission. Called them to see if they could help me. The owner was extremely rude. He wouldn't let me get a word in without him arguing. They won't stand by their work and wanna charge me just to look at something that they failed to fix properly from the beginning. I thought they were honest and reliable when I first used them. Bit of course just like every other mechanic, they don't stand by their work and wanna keep taking money from you without fixing the problem. For the price I paid I could have taken it to a Ford dealer and got a warranty. Bad and shady business.

My wife took her 2005 Nissan maixima to the shop to check the engine light and told her in person it would be a free check so she left the car at the shop until he was able to get to it. A day later she receives a call stating that the car needed a valve body replacement and that it would be $1300 dollars to be replaced. Also, there was a fee to look at the car for $75.00 without notifying her first. I make it back in town and called the mechanic to see why the cost and he states that he thought we would want to know the cause and just did the inspection without notifying the owners. He also suggested that at the price to fix it was no good and that he would give us $300 for the car so he could use it for parts. so i had the car towed from the shop after paying the $75.00 to release the car and had it towed to another mechanic and it was just the cam and position sensors from the reading of there machine and the cost was only $400 total to fix. never will i ever use there services again!

They are amazing! My Honda Accord would shift harsh and I took it to couple shops and they told me it was the transmission. A friend told me to try this place and they drove the car and inspect it and said they were no transmissions issues but the engine mounts were broken. I replaced the engine mounts and the car drives fine now and I saved tons of money. They are honest and knowledgeable which is hard to come by these days. I will trust them for my future repairs :)

THE GUY THAT OWNS THE SHOP IS GREAT 10/10. But the guy that he rents a bay too is a horrible guy. Stole my $2000 and the owner says he has people calling about more money the guy stole.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

These guys are reliable, affordable and fast. They were able to mail me my exact transmission on a pallet and didn't even charge me for shipping. Highly recommended and they also offer upgrades if you need to beef up your Trans for hauling or racing use.

I may revise my review if they ever get my rebuilt transmission running right. They had my Truck on teir lot for months without doing any work and at one point when I showed up unexpected, it was gone. I returned with actual cow/horse poop on it covered in mud with someone's hitch ball attached. I have a tracker...they were using my truck to the tune of 300 miles over the course of a month of not working on it. Despite scheduling times for rebuild, re-rebuild and trying to fix the re-rebuild, my truck still sat on their lot untouched for weeks untouched causing me to incur $900-1000 in rental car fees and their go to is to complain about how bad they underquoted me, how much this is costing them and justifying reasons to skimp such as on my torque converter. An extra $200 would have gotten what I needed, I would have even paid if they asked, but now I'm about to exceed it's rated capabilities. I was promised much and delivered little. I wont even shift right and they tell me it's fine not knowing i've done my homework. I have made 2 attempts to reach them after several months of driving the truck with these problems confirmed. I've been to Dodge, spoken to experts and been in other trucks finding that none of the claims they used to get me to go away are true. I am genuinely scared to let them have my truck again but will give them one more shot to get it right. If they don't return my emails or calls then the BBB will vget a complaint and I will look into legal satisfaction. If they try again and don't halfa$$ the attempt to save a buck or feed me more BS then I'll just take to a builder that knows what they are doing spend the money and cut my losses because at least they tried. Stay away if you have a Dodge Diesel...they are not up on it. Maybe they could be trusted with a straightforward OEM build. Time will tell. I want to believe in them and change my review, really.

They do great work here. Had my Camaro's transmission repaired here and shifts just as smoothly ever since. Owner stands by his work and makes sure customers are satisfied.

The commenter George Pun, who got, "such great treatment" is the OWNER! This shop is full of drug pushers and con men who totally messed up my diesel transmission rebuild? They did not honor their warranty and after failing to fix my Truck, paid me off to go away. They left tools in my engine compartment and forgot to reinstall parts they removed that I had to catch. Stay away from this place. The first shop manager tried to sell a friend I referred drugs and the owner has some interesting things in his background as well. Why deal with incompetent crooks that do not keep their word? Tim Moye is right up the road and Jeff's is around along with just about anyone else.

Fraud:1. Said that he changed the starter for the second time - but just recharged the battery2. took $ 300 for a starter when on the Internet it costs from $ 75 to $ 150(opinion of another master, who immediately figured out the problem and realized that the problem was in the battery)Service: Electrical repair

My 2004 Infiniti G35 was overheating, to the point where it was not drivable and about to leave me stranded. I did a search for mechanics in the Lutz area and found several results, Transbuilt amoung them. What stood out immediately was the free estimates and free tow service.This could have been a big ordeal, but thankfully with the expert help and professionalism from Transbuilt Transmission I was able to get my water pump & thermostat replaced in one day!! What's more total cost is minimal and very affordable. I will reccommend this shop to everyone I know, because of the outstanding experience I had.

He was referred to me by a friend to fix my car when I got into an accident very bad decision he did a horrible job my bumper was hanging off when I drove off the lot I had to call insurance company to send me to someone else before my bumper fly off when I'm driving screws that were supposed to go on bumper was sitting on driver floor crazy do not go here for any body work you've been warned

They suck i got a car from them and 3 days later the transmission gave out then they say the fixed it then just recently the other rebuild transmission they put in it gave out on me once again that was one thing evertime i took my car there to get fixed something else give out ..... they trying to get over on me and sold me a lemon they half ass on fixing thing and if u buy a car from there they will make sure that its fine.just wen u buy it but once its youts and gone its not there problem oooo and get everything in writing because if u just take there word the with later tell u i dont recall saying that ever wen they tell u they are going to give u six months warranty they are money hungry and scam artists
