So glad I went with Gerber vs. Crash Champions. Not a good experience with them (Crash Champions) twice in the past.You all kept me updated on the status of my vehicle repair just about every other day. I appreciate the communication from your staff. The work was done within 2 weeks which was extremely reasonable and quick in my opinion. Staff was attentive, friendly and communicative. I would recommend this place.My car looks brand new again, excellent job!!

Okay, so on 11/8/23 I was hit by a car in the parking lot at work (Camry) when I was not in the car and the car was parked. There was around $1500 of bumper/quarter panel damage. A month later (I am not kidding) I was rear ended by another car in our other Vehicle (Highlander) coming out of Church. There was around $3800 in damage for that "incident". Zero liability to me in either case. Point is; The at fault driver's insurance in both cases had Gerber Wesley Chapel as a preferred shop. I am very glad they did. Shelley hand held me through both instances; two unique experiences with two different insurance companies (that were not my own). She advocated for me during the process; anticipated every move they would make, which was nice as I'd not had body work needed in quite some time. Repair- flawless in both cases. Rental car (Enterprise) integration to the shop. . perfect both times. Amount of time in the shop. . . half the estimated time in both cases; with communication all along the way. In house staff was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Even got a kick out of the "office dog" (sorry, forgot the name). Bottom line: I'd use them again. I hope I don't have to; but I would not hesitate. Thanks Gerber!!!!

They did a great job repairing my car. They kept me informed through emails of the progress daily as well. Very friendly atmosphere! Wonderful crew!

After multiple attempts at fixing what should have been a minor repair covered under my insurance accident claim, Gerber asked me to pay out of pocket for an additional part claiming a new accident ( without proof) had caused more damage. Very frustrating and disappointing experience.

I have dealt with many body shops as a Personal Injury Attorney, I have never worked with one that is as Professional, Caring and Competent as this Gerber location. Excellent service, Excellent Warranty on Work performed.

I m speechless after leaving this pathetic excuse for an establishment. Shelley, being who I had to maintain contact with was rude from the start. But it gets worse, after taking care of the last bit of paperwork necessary to retrieve my car back into my possession- Shelley then told me there was no such paperwork even after my insurance agent told me she had already sent it over for them to charge me for betterment and my deductible. I then ask the front office lady (whom was far more pleasant to deal with than Shelley) to kindly pull up my file to pay and there it is right in front of her- I proceed to pay but while attempting to pay, Shelley storms out of her office to demand she get off the computer to stop me from paying for the service. She snaps at her a second time as the front desk employee clearly sees she has no reason to deny me from paying for my car s repairs. However she was too late, my payment already went through, Shelley then takes said employee back into the hall where I hear her scold her for simply doing her job. This poor employee already had my file pulled up and saw for herself that everything was in order to let me take my car back. Shelley then comes to the front after harassing her own employee to tell me extra paperwork is still necessary to be done before my car will be returned back to me and that it likely won t happen in the same day.From trash talking myself along with other customers in a full front lobby, to withholding my car, to subpar repair service where my door is still rattling, to warehouse staff coming up front to doodle on copy paper- I would avoid this business at all costs and take your hard earned money literally anywhere else you can. This has been the absolute WORST experience with ANY business I have ever had to deal with. Extremely disappointed and frustrated with this nightmare of an experience at Gerber and I will be taking my car elsewhere to fix what they couldn t over the course of 2 entire month of holding onto it.Update 6 months later: Discovered $1000+ worth of more damage caused by this shops negligence after fixing my car. Filing a report with BBB and will likely be suing for out of pocket expenses required to actually fix my car. Unbelievable.

Called for an elderly friend so she could obtain an est for fixing her dented hatch. The place was clean, people were very nice & estimate was free. Due to amount it would cost to fix the dent, she decided to live with it as on limited income. I called them back to advise of her decision . They could not have been nicer.

I was in a car accident and the insurance company suggested using Gerber!! So I agreed and when I went to receive a quote the gentleman added many different things to the quote that was not included in the accident. Which I found out after reviewing the estimate.I tried calling Gerber to question the gentleman about the estimate and for four days straight every time I called he happened to be on lunch or on another call so each time I asked for him to please call me back he never did. Then I spoke with the young lady who answered the telephone calls that the insurance company cut me a check for the repairs and she got upset and asked why did they do that when they where supposed to cut us a check. I replied I have no idea why. So she continued to say she would have to call the insurance company to straighten something out between them , and she would have the gentleman that gave me the estimate to call me back afterwards. So of course no one called me back. So now I intend to take my issue elsewhere. To those who plan on using Gerber please pay attention to the estimate because I ve looked at other reviews and it seems as though Gerber tends to add things to the quote that aren t necessary. And also the staff is not that professional!!! At least the people I dealt with. I am not the type of person to bash a company or use any names in my reviews but just want to bring awareness!!!!!Service: Body & Trim

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They kept us updat for everything to the point we never had to contact them. The body work on our few month old vehicle looks just like it did off the dealer lot. Can't stress enough how great and nice the staff was during a stressful situation.

They fixed the issue I brought it in for but couldn t even mention that they ran my car almost COMPLETELY out of gas, I didn t make it 2 miles down the road and my tank was EMPTY. Needless to say I will not be returning. Also my car was filthy inside on pick up??Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

Always been straight and reputable with our auto repairs. Highly recommend. USAA preferred trusted vendor. Our car s front end was seriously swiped and the repair job was A + and timely. I give this office high marks for communication and accurate estimates on time needed for professional repair!

I went to Gerber the other day to get a quote for repairs to my car. I have some damage to my passenger side fender and some scrapes on my front bumper. I explained that I am not interested in replacing the bumper unless absolutely necessary. The lady I spoke with typed me up an estimate that came out to about to $2400 and explained this is just a starting point and it could be worse once they look at my car. When I got home I looked over the estimate and was quoted for a new headlight, new door handle, and a new side mirror, none of which had any damages at all. I was also quoted for a new bumper which I did not believe was necessary. Today I got a new estimate from another auto repair shop for only $850 in which they informed me that there is no reason for my bumper, door handle, headlight, or side mirror to be replaced. I feel like I was intentionally deceived and quoted at a much higher cost than necessary. I will be taking my business elsewhere. If you decide to get an estimate from this business I highly recommend getting a second opinion. Doing so has likely saved me thousands!

My experience here was great. After being rear ended at a stop light, the other drivers insurance company sent me here. They were prompt and professionally courteous at the first appointment. After seeing the damage inside my bumper they bent over backwards to make things right. The car looks great, repairs were done in a timely manner, I feel safer having had the repair and they couldn't have been a more professional or nice group of people.

I wish I could give them zero stars! I've never written a bad review on anything in my life but this was the worst business I have ever dealt with. It's been 3 months and I still don't have my car back. I've never received an update from them I've always had to call them to find out what's going on with my car and every week it's something different. They're either incompetent or simply don't care. I had to go out and physically find a core (radiator) support for my car because they couldn't and kept telling me they have no idea when the part is coming in. Guess what, I found the part in one day and at a place they told me they checked! I got if for them two weeks ago and today they told me they can't find another part and they might not get it until July. July?! Seriously?! Don't worry Gerber I'll do your job and find the part...again! I'll bring my tools with me when I come back to install the part myself. Wouldn't want you to to actually have to do what you're paid to do.P.S. If anybody is curious and would like to email the area manager or President of Gerber to tell him what an outstanding job this facility is doing I have the contact.

Tremendous experience with Gerber Wesley Chapel. People in the office were friendly and helpful. Communication on the claim between Gerber and my insurance company (USAA) was extremely smooth and Gerber's estimate was low price of three shops I got estimates from. During the repair Gerber either called me or sent a text every day to update me on repair progress. And finished job looks terrific. Highly recommend them.

I was rear ended, Insurance Co.referred me to Gerber glass for my repairs . Rene the secretary was very professional , just picked up my vehicle, repairs have been completed, however I hear a rattle in the rear. I Placed a call to them this morning however they are closed on weekends. But Im not worried. They have been responsive and I know the rattling with be looked at and fixed. I will refer them to others when it comes to any repairs. Thank youServices: Painting, General repairs & maintenance

I usually check reviews before going to a business these days but Gerber is just up the street from me and we have used Gerber at a diffrent location and had good work done.I went in this am to get an estimate. I have already received my check from the insurance company from a previous quote. This shop was alot closer and I figured it would be convienent.Wow was I wrong, I got rude from the moment I walked in the door. Abrupt receptionist and a gentleman just "trying" to help but just made the experience worse. I wanted an estimate, I already have a check. However the moment I said the word Travelers they wanted a claim number and the ability to haggle with the insurance company. Again I asked them to treat it as a cash transaction so I could compare with the other shop. Again they were interested in the insurance company info. I said one more time to treat as a cash transaction and forget the insurance company as I already had the payout.Not helpful, very abrupt and not listening. As someone who builds, reconciles and assists businesses in restructuring I am shocked this place is still operating.They really do need a customer service revamp, glad I walked out instead of continuing further. I am glad some had a 5 star experience but unfortunatly their overall 3 rating is probably generous.Lastly, to the business do not bother with some canned response as it will not change my first impression which was horrible. Hope the meeting went well I was going to have to wait for if I had stayed for an estimate.Poor Business, customers are not a priority. Clear from sour receptionist at the start.

They did a good job, but very pricey for the damage. Ended up charging the insurance company another $1700 for supposed more underneath damage, but I doubt anything else was actually done.I was contacted by my contact individual and attempted to strong arm me into changing my review, which I informed him it was MY review, not his, and I believe was fair and accurate. Do yourself a favor and RUN from this place.I contacted my body shop at home in Ohio, gave him the same insurance estimate and was told it would have been $2400, and absolutely not over $3000. I have reconsidered my stars down to 2.

My car hit an armadillo and the "bottom cover" came out from one side. I took it to Wesley chapel Nissan and they said entire front hood had to be replaced for that! I then took car to Gerber Collision center for second opinion. There were no waiting and staff was nice. Mr Anton looked at my car, took it to the workshop and had the bottom put back in 20 mins and charged me NOTHING for that!It was a pleasant surprise!In fact, I liked it so much, I'll be getting my another car fixed there soon.

This place has a severe problem with communication. We had to physically walk in to talk to Darrell in order to get an update two weeks ago. Only have gotten one update since from Larry, who didn't know what was going on with my car. He said I could have delivery later that week. I called on Friday to ask if my car was ready and Darrell was quick to say Larry didn't know what he was talking about and my car was still another week or more from being done. As of this week, we still have no updates and we can't get ahold of anyone.We've filed a complaint with our insurance company for their records. Even our insurance company doesn't have the most up to date information from Gerber. Gerber had to add two supplements to our estimate and didn't even notify our insurance company.We are now at a loss as to what to do.I can't review them on their work just yet, but will update once I have my car back.

It is sad to read that people had bad experiences with this Gerber. I brought my car in after having a collision with a deer and my bumper holding on with duct tape. I am also not from the area so it was a place given to me by my insurance. They were really busy for the next few weeks but could tell I didn't feel comfortable driving my car so they had it towed to another location so it could be worked on quicker. They were extremely polite and answered all my nagging questions. I highly recommend this place!!

I had my husband call on the phone (he's white) for an price to repair my front bumper the own of the shop told him that he would replace and paint the front bumper for 400.00. He told him to bring the call in. I took the car in myself and he told me that the price for a new bumper and paint job was doing to be 1500.00 to 2000.00. Clearly he lied to my husband and I via phone. He never even stepped outside to actually look at my car he just throw high numbers at me.

THIS PLACE DESERVES ZERO STAR! like I wish there was a negative 10 star rating because that what I would give them. I can in an HOUR before they closed and was met by the rudest & horrendous individual. I only came here because my company owns my car and they are the contracted auto and body shop and even though my company sent me a confirmation email confirming that they had reached and let them know ahead of time that I would be dropping my car off for an estimate and repairs from and accident. She rudely told me she didn t know why they told me that because she had to go ... btw they didn t close for another hour... then she was like well i don t have room for the car blah blah blah blah blah .... when o simply said it doesn t matter how long you take to get to it my company is making me come here... trust me if i could go somewhere else I would. Avoid these miserable people at all cost !

I went here because my brother had decent body work done on his vehicle prior to me having to bring my vehicle in. I went very far out of my way to go to this location too so that really added to my aggravation when they failed to deliver the vehicle completed on time. They managed to lose a part to my driver's door when that wasn't even the door they were replacing. The lining they cut too short and try to play it off as normal when I brought it up. I had to push them to redo it. Then they have the nerve to ask for a good review before they even finish fixing what they messed up. They apparently couldn't repair my existing door and switched it out for a used door. The door is so worn looking compared to my original door. The least they could have done is give me back my less worn parts from my original door. So all the parts that are suppose to be black plastic are sun damaged and do not match my other doors. Now, a couple years later, I have to deal with that door handle breaking from normal use while I'm mid move! Why couldn't they just install my original parts back on my door? Or just give me them because it was MY DOOR! I just had a dent in the door from my stupid brother backing into my parked car. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU ENJOY LONG TERM ISSUES!

Scott is the GM and AWESOME!!! There was miscommunication getting my windshield replaced and Scott took the time to help straighten everything out. Customer Service at its finest

This is the most disorganized, unprofessional car repair business I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. You would think a national chain would have it together.They called me and had me come in for appointments, and then when I'd get there they would have no idea why I was there. They texted text me that my car was done, then I learned my car was not done. You will get phone call after phone call to survey you about your experience, but when I asked them to call me back to answer a question, they would not call me back. They told me I could pick my car up on Saturday, and I got there and was angrily told by a staff member that they don't do pickups on Saturday. They left my car dirty on the inside, and did not fix everything. Four times I was told to come in, when there was no reason for me to come in. Poor service, poor work quality.Do not take your car here. Look at the other reviews, you will see a theme. I wish I had read the other reviews and listened to them. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
