I was recommended to XP Motorsports by my HPDE instructor. I have a CTS V-Sport (twin turbo V-6, not the V-8) that was experiencing high intake air temperatures during track days. I met with Bob and Ben to discuss a game plan on how to address the issue. Outside of performance items, there really aren't any aftermarket items for the cooling system for the V-Sport. Bob and Ben suggested we install a larger aftermarket heat exchanger for the CTS-V, along with a reservoir from another GM product to hold more coolant for the intercooler. They recommended we install the grille from the CTS-V to allow more airflow. They also lowered the temperature required for the fans to come on. They installed much improved brake pads for track use. Additionally, they provided me with guidance on when to change fluids, plugs, etc. They were very transparent and honest, even telling me when I was changing something at too frequent of an interval. Their work was top-notch. I will continue to use them for additional upgrades to the car, and I highly recommend them.

After coming across recommendations online that praised XP Motorsports, I decided to give them a call and check out their shop. Last year I had my Built LS6 finally give up the ghost after 50,000+ supercharged miles at over double the factory horsepower. I got the car to them and then went out of town, Bob and Ben took the time to reach out, keep me updated, and discuss many build options with me and allowed me to take my time in deciding what I ultimately wanted to do.But the best part was, I never felt rushed to decide on what I wanted to do, and XP Motorsports seemed more than happy to give me pointers as to what the pros and cons of each option were. When I'd finally decided, it ended up being a more difficult swap than any of us expected and every step forward seemed to bring it's own unforeseen compatibility hurdles. However, XP Motorsports reached out EVERY time and explained the next steps and kept me in the loop. I never had to call and harass them as they were always on top of it all. and to me, that's what customer service is all about!After the delays, we ended up with fantastic power figures, and a very clean install. I'm very happy with the work XP motorsports did, and they were spot on where they suggested I spend extra money, and then where to save some money. Will definitely use again when I'm looking to make more power! Thanks for everything guys!

I can t recommend these guys enough!! What a great place. So knowledgeable. Discussed my C7 needs with them, they ordered the Kooks headers etc and then installed and tuned in a day. PERFECT! They even swapped out my rotors and pads at the same time! So much noise and power, love it!Go and see them today!

Bob and Ben are building my new race car. You know how sometimes you can just tell when something is going to be awesome? This was one of those times. These guys have been great to deal with since the beginning and they know Corvettes.

Glad you asked. I had authorized my then for sale race car, to be brought to your shop as a 3rd party inspection for a potential buyer. A compression test was performed to very low results. Also there was a claim that the turbo "looked stock" and therefore was not performing at the boost number I claimed to the potential buyer. Upon receiving my car back from the potential buyer, he claimed there was engine damage from the compression report and needed engine work, and backed out of the deal. Baffled by these claims, considering I emailed the invoice to the individual clearly showing exactly who built the engine, and it's parts and specs, and who ported the turbo on both sides and reworked the center bearings, and test drove the car and watched his own boost numbers on the apv3 gauge while driving...... I was confused. Since this made me concerned for my alleged engine and turbo issues, I had the entire car reassessed by a more brand specific shop, who properly tested the the forged piston engine at operating temp, yielding much higher numbers with almost no deviation between cylinders, due to proper thermal expansion. The turbo was then tested on the dyno proving boost peak and hold, and wheel hp and tq to match the healthy engine and turbo. Needless to say, this info was passed on to the next candidate who ended up purchasing the car out of state and getting approved for sanctioned racing. But what really gets me, is the fact that shortly after getting the car back to me from your shop, I found that 3 points where the car was obviously not lifted properly in the air, and noticed popped up spots on the soft under tray areas, and damaging one section that needed to be repaired. I did not bother to reach out to your shop at the time as the customer was coming down in a couple of days to pick up his new purchase. I understand that the car wasn't exactly your shops cup of tea, but that was unprofessionalism of the highest order.

These guys should run the track support business. Have saved me hundreds of times on the road and on the track. Full track support? Call Ben and Bob!!!
