Gerber exceeded my expectations in customer service, turnaround, and quality of work. I had about $4000 of body damage and my vehicle was ready to go 5 days after drop off. Sharee and Monica were very helpful and likable .

I was trying to hold back on my review, however it's almost impossible to restrain myself from doing so at this point. A scale from 1.10 on customer service I'm forcing the 1 star in order to leave a review. This is a smaller shop. I guess they pick and choose who to serve in what manner. As for my personal experience I WILL NEVER go to a gerber Collison. As a former employee of this company , things have definitely changed. Wowing the customer at this location is definitely not it FOR ME, I took my vehicle in for repair and although they were snappy in fixing it they never updated me via phone. They messed with a part unrelated to the repair and ended up damaging the Parr. It's been a week and I am still waiting for this so called part. They also stated they will put me in a rental , however I was required to pay the deposit. To me is wasting my money for your mistake. They also have to put the part on and paint the area , as they burned the paint in that area. Now it's frustrating for me to have to contact them looking for my part instead of them reaching out to me , the professional way to go. They hardly answer my calls, perhaps because I don't play about my vehicle. The receptionist can be snippy if you rub her the wrong way. I think everyone in that location is LAZY. If i could use zero stars i would. My car was rear ended the guys insurer has Travelers they sent me here. Mind you my car drove & i had the rear bumber that flew off do i drove it it. They took almost a month to repair but i had a rental. So they called me said car is ready i go get it drove home which was 7 mins away get home reindpect my car the whole passenger side floors were flooded in water, then it had a massive leak underneath so i drove back there the owner Mike came out to see the issues then my car would not restart so he says oh must be mechanical that they only did bodywork butvi kept explaining my car had no issues till they touched it. All it had was rear bodywork damage. But the owners only offer waa to give me a tow truck # & to send my car to a autobshop Inline Express almost as he had this already planned out. I kerp calling travelers & Gerber no one wants to take responsibility so now i have to get rid of my car. Travelers paid Gerber $4800& i just spent $1000 or more to get it back on the road i missed work 2 weeks already now got let go 4 kids grandbaby now no income & i dont know if i need legal counsel i have texts messages & paperwork. I WILL BE MOVING FORWARD TO MAKE THEM ACCOUNTABLE & SO THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE!

My overall experience was exceptional! Sharee was amazing and more than knowledgeable and helpful regarding all my questions. Most importantly, They finished repairing my vehicle within a few days. I was surprised because they were extremely busy and had estimated 8 days. If I had to recommend a collision repair shop, I ll definitely be recommending Gerber Collision! Thank you so much!!

UPDATE (November 15, 2022)The management reached out to me and we discussed the situation. I am satisfied and appreciate with how they handled and resolved this situation with respect and professionalism.*************October 2022I don t like writing reviews especially negative ones but this time I need to. The staff members are nice and respectful. However I am paying a huge amount for my car rental because they keep extending the dates of the repair to the point that the car rental coverage expired. I understand that the parts took time to arrive but they should have at least clarified things to me first or ordered/waited for the parts to arrive first before deciding to have me drop my car off. That way, I could make a plan and I wouldn t be paying >$500 just for the car rental. I could have saved 2-3 weeks of car rental if only they had coordinated with me l, as a customer, regarding this situation. Scheduling was poorly handled and they weren t true to their word regarding the dates. They told me 3 days or 1 week it will be done but kept extending it multiple times and it took a total of 47 days to repair it. They are aware of this concern.

Wouldn t recommend this place to anyone. They give you false information and hope, it s been over a month since our car has been here. Ready date keeps getting pushed out weeks at a time. Absolutely ridiculous, don t get people s hopes up about getting their car back and not even have the correct parts

I highly would NOT recommend it. I was advised I'd get step by step updates, I did NOT. I only received one telling me that my car would be ready the next day after being there for 2 weeks. I was calling bc I needed to know how long I should rent a car. So I was on a day to day basis renting my car which was costly. I called multiple times to get my own updates. Monica the receptionist was very rude with each call as if she was annoyed that I wanted information regarding my car. I did get a 1 call back from Duncan, after not being able to get ahold of the estimator/adjuster, he was also rude. He didn't allow me to speak he just called to tell me what the estimates were and not answer any questions I had. I already knew what the estimates were bc my insurance sent me a copy. I even stopped by in person and was turned away with no information bc "no one was available bc they're in a meeting" . I just pray I don't get in another auto accident and need to get my car repaired. If I did I would not be using them .Customer service 10 out of 10 would not recommend.

On 1/30 I took my vehicle in for an inspection for collision damage.Sharee Mace, Estimator, took photos of the damage to provide an estimate for my insurance company. She never submitted the estimate. I waited five days while sending two emails to her to find out the reason for the delay. She never responded to my emails, so I complained to my insurance company and they assigned my claim to another collision repair company.

I went there to get a quote and they don't take walk-in.There were several people sitting there that work there doing nothing.I told them I was paying cash out of pocket.If I was the owner and people are sitting around and letting money walk out.someone would be getting fired.
