I was looking for a used car and before I purchased the one car I wanted, the owners son had spoken to me and explained that the car was fine and that everything was good but not even an hour later I was driving on 90 and the engine started smoking. I went back to them and they told me I probably hit something and that it was my fault that their was something wrong. Knowing that I didn t hit anything on the road I knew that they were in the wrong and falsely advertised that the car was in good condition. I tried to negotiate with them in a nicely manner so I can get any of my money back, they told me at first that they would but they completely changed their mind and won t give me my money back on an issue that I wasn t informed of since the beginning. If I was informed that the car had any issues from the beginning I wouldn t have gone through with the purchase.

Worst customer service ever! I found a car I loved at Mott's. Had to drive to Orange Park to do the loan closing (nearest Chase Bank). I was on my way back and called to let Mott's know I had the check but could not get there until 11:45 (they closed at 12:00). The woman I spoke with very rudely told me I needed to be there by 11:00 for them to sell me the vehicle. I explained that it was impossible since I was driving from Jacksonville. She adamantly told me no one would stay to sell me the vehicle. I asked about their hours during the week. She said I needed to be there by 4pm to buy the vehicle. I explained that I work and could not be there that early. She said sorry with so much attitude I could not believe what I was hearing. I asked if she was seriously telling me I'd have to take my business elsewhere because no one there would stay a few minutes to sell me this car. She said the car wasn't going anywhere, that I'd figure it out. I asked again if someone could stay a few minutes, she said, "no, we don't do that". So I took my business to Walt's.Let me tell you about Walt's. They found me a car I love, found a lender and argued to get me an awesome interest rate. Had the car detailed and the gas talk full and had me out the door in less than 2 hours. I even got a hug before leaving. That is what customer service is all about. They have my business and my family's business for life.

I had made a deal for purchase of a vehicle with Motts Auto and was told the vehicle had to be serviced and I would be called to pick it up as soon as that was complete. This was on a Thursday. On Friday I was told that it had not made it in the garage yet and that if I did not hear back from them that day, that I would be hearing from them on Monday. I was extremely patient even though my need for a new vehicle was pertinent as my current vehicle I was driving was no longer going to be an option and having a vehicle was extremely important as without being able to go long distance in my own car anymore was costing me money by not being able to work. After Monday afternoon and not hearing anything still, I decided to go see what another car dealer could do for me. After visiting I-75 Roundtree Moore, I was extremely happy Motts didn't value me as a customer and completely ignored my needs. I ended up getting a 2017 Kia with a mere 23,000 miles on it for a lower rate, over 100,000 less miles, brand new condition, almost a decade newer than the stained up vehicle Motts was selling, it was thousands cheaper, and I drove home with my vehicle within a few hours. I was also able to trade my old car out and was able to put less down. Roundtree Moore was hands down 1000% more of a reputable business than Mott's. Mott's did not care about me, my needs, or even have enough respect for me or for that matter themselves to show that they value a consumer. I was very blessed they gave me this kind of service, but to give them even one star is one star too much. If your looking for a used vehicle and want professional and value, Motts is a place I would steer very clear from. Their type of brand new to you vehicle is to give you something you would have a better chance of getting off your local Facebook Market. Used, stained, and overpriced for its worth. Don't let Motts fool you or disrespect your business by leading you on with false promises and then forgetting you even existed. Low quality service (none at all) for low quality cars. I-75 In Lake City blows Motts away. As I'm sure any other car dealer would. Motts is a horrible place to purchase your used car comparatively.

Bought my last two cars there. I like the way they take care of their customers. I know the owner personally. Mitch Motts honesty and integrity are beyond reproach.

Jamie lane was a very very rude women life,she cussed and threatened every member of our staff because she did not like or hours of operation , im glad i did not have to deal with her she was entitled and winy , and the fact she has time to leave a bad review on a place that she never stepped foot in speaks volumes .
