This isn't the first time I have dealt with J&W Auto. I bought a car from Jeff in 2013. Which was a great car and great price. He has worked on my car a few times and this time my truck. He is very nice, and friendly. So are his employees. They do great work and have fair prices. Not like some place that will charge you an arm and a leg. And the work isn't done one right. No worries when you deal with J&W.

The Guys at J & W where awesome. I broke down on I-10 and had my truck towed to J & W. My transmission failed during my trip. The guys at J & W had a quote ready for me first thing Monday morning. Resonable price. They had my truck fixed right away, within 3 days. They worked with me on paying the bill, I had to wait two weeks for the money, no problem. they stored my truck without additional cost. Even meet me on a Sunday to pickup my truck since we where from Orlando and had to drive up. Jeff was very helpfull and friendly. Thanks Guys!

We didn't pick this place. AAA did since J&W is AAA certified, so that's where they had our truck towed after its transmission acted up on I-10. Turns out it was our good luck that this was where we were taken. After the J&W guys determined it was the transmission they provided us with each of the repair options and their different costs, then let us decide. We ended up going with a replacement transmission (with a warranty) since the cost for parts and labor seemed reasonable. Have had the vehicle back for a few weeks now and it's running better than it has in months.

My husband and I highly recommend this repair shop. We were passing through headed out of town when our brand new transmission started acting up while pulling out fifth wheel. We pulled into a wal mart and decided to visit them the next day to see what they had to say. Jeff jumped right on diagnosing the issue and was even nice enough to chat with our hometown mechanic. It was nice going somewhere where you felt like a priority and did the beat they could to get us back on the road as soon as they could!

I got my car air conditioner serviced here an they did a good job. My mom had to get a whole new A/C done in her car an it's been working like a top. There a smaller family style business an make you feel welcomed. I trust this place 100% as there's some places you will get ripped off at.. But not this place as they depend on money so they give you good service an at a good price..

Recently on a trip from Okeechobee to visit a client in Live Oak, our BMW 325i started making a grinding sound from under the hood. It was apparent that we could not make it home without having it looked at so while I was at work, my wife researched the local repair shops on the Internet and found that J&W Automotive had good reviews.I asked our clients, who are locals, about them and they recommended them highly so my wife took our car to them for repair. They diagnosed the problem as a defective power steering pump and ordered a replacement scheduled to arrive the next day. The pump arrived and J&W installed it only to find that it was a defective part.They contacted us with this information and were very apologetic even though it was no fault of their own and then proceeded to find another part closer to home; even sending their own staff to procure the part so that we would not be further delayed. Our car was ready early the next morning and we were able to return the rental and head back home.I will say that this is one of those experiences that happens to us and, on the surface are seemingly bad, but because of the goodness and honesty of those involved it actually becomes a gratifying experience. It is heartening to find honest folks anonymously and I commend Wade Thomas for his integrity and caring.Hat Tip to J&W Automotive!

Awesome service, even though our prognosis wasn't great. They told us about other options that we could try and it was so helpful. They were kind and very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend anyone to use them. We are from out of state and am glad that I was brought to a great service center like J & W Automotive.

I was stranded on the Interstate, not in my own city, and even so J&W didn't try to take advantage of me. Fair prices on work, took good care of me, and now the car is running great. They diagnosed all possible issues and ordered all possible parts in case it was one part or the other, rather than just order one part and "Oops, that wasn't the problem so we need to keep it another day." They quoted me two prices on two possibilities (and both were fair prices by the way, and both were likely diagnoses) so it was clear they were honest mechanics when the repair only needed the less expensive repair and they didn't try to charge me for the more expensive repair. They even showed me the damaged part, which tells me they can be trusted. Truly they are honest, quality mechanics with good heads on their shoulders.Only reason for less than five stars: It took two days to do the work because they were backed up. Possibly they need to hire more mechanics? Or possibly I just came at a bad time? My mechanic, who is also a small independent shop just like J & W, almost certainly would have gotten that knocked out in one day instead of two. But one can hardly complain when they're stuck on the side of the road in a remote city :-) They're likely backed up because they're popular, and I can see why that'd be true. They just ought to consider adding another mechanic, is all I'm saying. If I could give 4.5 stars I would.Another note: I had to call for updates after some time had passed to know what to expect. Would have been a nice customer service touch if they'd have kept me updated, but even my mechanic doesn't do this, so I'm not complaining. As a computer "mechanic" myself, I understand not wanting to stop to make calls or emails with status updates, I just want to get the job done and get it out the door.J & W is definitely recommended. Honest and dependable. I hope I don't need their services again ;-) But if I do, I know right where to go.

As a woman we are always scared to be taken because we barley know nothing when it comes to the newer cars...This J&W AUTO IS THE MOST HONEST CAR REPAIR I HAVE EVER GONE TO. They care about your car problem. I am completely thrilled to use them..fixed a problem that would have cost me so much more than I could afford any where else.. No one was able to find it they did!!!THANK YOU SO MUCH...

Broke down on I-10 at 3pm and they repaired my Pickup Truck by 5pm. They are very knowledgeable, fair pricing and understand a customers sense of urgency. Would Highly recommend this shop. Ask for Jeff the owner and he'll treat you like family.

We were driving south from Atlanta trying to rushing home on the eve of Tropical Storm Hermaine, stopped at a gas station and noticed the rear end was smoking so we talked yo a local and they refered us to J&W Automotive, so we limped over and they determined that it was a rear end gear box cover that was rusted through in one spot and had no fluid in it! The guys put it on the lift as soon as we pulled in rushed out to get extra gear oil and Jeff suggested they clean it off and seal it with silicone and top it off as to prevent it from leaking the new oil out before we got home. Great fast service and really appreciate thier help to get us on the road ASAP!

I highly recommend this place for all of your mechanic repairs!!!I had my transmission dropped with a new clutch kit put in with a rear main seal they did not overcharge me for the work that was performed like other places would ve.!!!!It s hard to find automotive Repair shops Where the people are honest here at J &W They are Very honest!!!!!!! They are not there to rip you off they are there to fix whatever problems you have with your engine.....Services: Engine repair, Air conditioning

Everytime I need anything done, this is the place to go. I recommend anyone who asks for a good mechanic to go here. They are fair on their price, excellent on their service, and number one ... HONEST!!!! I have used them for years, and have always been satisfied. I would only suggest this place to have your vehicle serviced or repaired. If you are anywhere near the Live Oak, FL area, this is the place to GET THE JOB DONE!

Broke down needed a water pump. J&W auto repair picked us up from the hotel once repair was complete. He even came in at 6 am to get us going in time to make our scheduled airplane flights home. Great folks and I highly recommend these guys.

Passing thru and had car troubles. I inquired about a good mechanic and was referred to J & W Auto. Joe did the repair and it was pretty simple but getting the part was not easy. I have an older VW and it is usually hard to find the parts but Joe tracked it down with no problem. Joe, Jeff and Sharmin are knowledgeable, professional, and the cost was reasonable. I trust them and recommend them highly.

Went to this garage with a rattle in the front end of my truck. Being from out of town I felt "Oh boy, here we go". They diagnosed the problem, (sway bar struts worn out). Showed me the problem. Quoted me a very reasonable price. And had my finished in one hour and 28 minutes. 5 stars for honesty, competence, workmanship, friendliness, and PRICE.

Needed trailer tires in a pinch, they got all three changed and had me back on the road in less than an hour. Great prices and services. Will definitely use again.

I payed for an alignment and it was never corrected it they said I had a lot of play in the steering box which would be a big n exspenceive job it still pulled the same .i went somewhere else n it goes strate now .

They have great cars I got a car from there and you still working any problems that I have with the car I can take it up there their service is wonderful they try their best to make sure everything goes right with your car I would recommend coming to this place

Very nice man and he explain what he had done and isnt like some of these home businesses that want to make a killing off of customer's . I Thank God he wasn't like other home businesses who wants a arm or leg to fix a lawnmower. I recommend him to everybody. Thank you again.
