So disappointed! My husband and grandson shopped for his firstused car. Should have kept looking. Couldn't drive the car further than down the road cause the owner was selling it for a friend, not the business. Then stated he would only take cash, 4200. Should have left at that point. But he stated he also worked for the PD, so we figured we could trust him. They saw a grandpa and grandson to take advantage of. We now have another 4,000 in repair bills. Left our telephone number, no return call. There is no way this car was checked over. We are talking transmission and engine leaks. I will be going further with this complaint.Yes you did say you were selling for a friend, and also said you drove it to/from Irlando. If that was the case, you would have felt the trans issues. Irregardless if whether you wanted it to go through the business or not, you never returned our call. That tells a lot right there. And you should have been upfront with the issues.Yes you said you were selling for a friend. The car was on your lot. Reputations are built by what comes off of your lot. Whether it came through the business or not, if indeed you sold for a friend, I most certainly would not call him a friend. Somehow I feel there is more to this situation.

I had the best experience purchasing a my car from this dealership. I'm a single mom & had horrible experiences shopping for a car in my budget but everybody here made it so easy & I absolutely love my new jeep! I will definitely be back next time I purchase a vehicle.

No star review!Bought a vehicle six months ago. Dead engine. It is obvious this dealer buys his vehicles at auction on day 1, and day 2 they are on lot for sale. No diligence on behalf of dealership, and they hide behind NO WARRANTY. "YOU knew the vehicle was used!".If you do take the vehicle to your mechanic, and he checks it out and oks it...be prepared for post sales paperwork to take longer than expected, as well. More trips to dealership for more temp tags.Take alook at responses to reviews... "Its not our fault" ..."we have no idea of what you are talking about." Apparently all of US previous customers are idiots and have no knowledge of how to obtain, or maintain a car. (Oil changes)Buyer BEWARE FOR CERTAIN!

currently dealing with my 2015 Nissan Altima S that had 140,000 miles on it when bought. i ended up getting it for a graduation present. i haven t even hit 2,000 miles NOR have i had this car for A YEAR & i ve had 4 oil changes, my car misfires constantly, & now i may have a blown motor. i would get an oil change & not even 5 days later my car says low oil pressure . DO NOT BOTHER to come here, they are crooks & you d think they d be better since the owner is a cop himself. they have no manners & don t care for their customers.

This place seemed great at first, the car that I really was interested in looked great in the photos. Drive all the way here from Cape Coral, and the car was had a ticking sound in the engine bay and handle on driver door was not working and the Car smelled awful. Do not buy from this place.

Decent place to get a used vehicle but DEFINITELY look over the vehicle thoroughly. I bought a 2007 toyota tacoma in august. Seemed mostly cosmetic, paint was a bit worn. Missing a sunvisor, (not a big deal til you cant see while youre driving cuz the SUN. Digital compass/thermometer didn't work(fuse)and they replaced the power steering pump because it was whining horribly, and the passenger windshield wiper didnt work (but they "fixed"it). Honestly the sales person didnt know much about the vehicles and couldnt tell me much. Bought the truck for 13k. Driving it home I figured out the radio shuts off at higher volumes and comes back on by playing with the headlights, and the wiper was NOT fixed as the teeth on the arm is stripped and it quit working the next day....tires needed to be replaced, however I couldn't remove my wheels because previous owner (I assume) put a nut on one of the studs instead of a lug and it was stripped, plus found out it was missing some lugs and studs after buying a jack for the truck because it didnt come with one to attemp to remove it myself. so was riding with one wheel only having 3 working studs. had to take it to a shop to drill out the stud the stripped nut was stuck on. It was also low on transmission fluid I found out, after taking it to a shop because it would shift really hard when you accelerate. Some of the belt split off (not sure when) and was wrapped around the fan and just had to replace the belt which just broke. And found a hole in the chassis about the size of my hand while changing the oil. So within 2 months I've Had to put an additional $1500 and more to go just to make it WHOLE and everything working. Over all I feel that the value of the vehicle did not live up to the price I paid for it. Having worked for a used car dealer before where we inspected our vehicles well and having done business with this dealer in the past, I expected a more intact vehicle for the price. No hard feelings against the people but buyers be sure to look at EVERYTHING. I was in a rush to get a vehicle so I overlooked things...don't make my mistake.

The only thing I can honestly say is its like dealing with serpents disguised as friends.Exploring every opportunity of feeding their own self greed with no remorse for those they knowingly raked over the coals.My warning stay away.

Love how they don t immediately come outside like a vulture and start trying to sell you a car. I did end up buying from them. They do cash deals and accept pre approvals. The website prices are accurate and if you know what to look for and say, you can talk them down on their prices. Overall, they got me out of there quick and I m super happy with my car.

Seemed great at first. Found a car my boyfriend really wanted test drove it it was nice ran good then as we proceeded to put 1,000 dollars down to hold the car then we started having issues. Seemed like they didn t want to sell the car. It just started to get a bit sketchy. Was told we would get re-approved then when time came we did not get re-approved. Got our hopes up for nothing.

Buyer beware. They sell Lemons here and don't work with you to fix the problem even if it's less than 24 hrs after you bought it

I just want to say thank you to everyone at J&M Affordable Auto. This dealership has a small town feel and the people that work there treat you with upmost respect. From the moment we drove on to the lot I could tell we were in the right place. The salesman kept his distance while I looked over the car which I appreciated, when it was time to talk about the car he let me come to him. From start to finish we had a great experience. The credit union they use even stayed open after hours so we could get the deal done on a Saturday as we drove 2 hours to look at the car. Thank you J&M Affordable Auto for selling us a great car and making the process so easy!

I was out looking for a new to me vehicle and after glancing at a shady lot with zero customer parking up the road, I found this Dealer and popped in. I took my time looking around the lot and then went and asked for info on a few cars. One car was sold, some others were outside my price range, and they basically handed me the key for the car in my price range and offered to answer my questions. I wasn't thrilled about that vehicle afyer checking it out so I took the key back.Then Chris asked me what I was looking for. He showed me an SUV which ultimately I bought. I love the vehicle. Chris answered all my questions and offered to have it detailed which wasn't a priority for me. The 2nd day the rear hatch wouldn't open and Chris offered to have it fixed. Eventually it did open and I fixed the latch with some anti-corosion spray. But the vehicle is everything he told me and he was up front about the few things that need to be fixed for cosmetic and full functionality, but frankly a bumper dink and a sun roof are not priorities for me. I would recommend this business. They made sure all my paperwork was right (been a problem in my past.)

I bought a 2004 Toyota Celica from the Mikes this weekend, and I honestly couldn't be happier with my purchase. The car is amazing; they went over the history and informed me of the car's quirks & what they did to fix it up before selling. Complete transparency, so I was able to make an informed purchase. I had put a deposit to hold it because I wasn't able to get there for 2 weeks (I live in North Carolina) and they were patient and kind. When you buy a car here, you are supporting a Veteran and LEO owned business. You are dealing with honest men, and I cannot recommend them enough!!!

DO NOT buy a vehicle from this place. At first I thought highly of J&M. Very helpful and not pushy. Seemed to work with their customers and get it done. However, my husband and I bought a truck, which we thought was a good deal, but it s been nothing but headaches. We ve had it for two months and it s been broke down almost the entire time. I tried talking to Patrick about working with us to either fix the truck or trading it out for a different truck on their lot but he isn t willing to help. Now, my husband and I are stuck with a lemon and J&M does not even care. Won t even return our messages. They got their money I guess. I DO NOT recommend buying a vehicle from this place. And I am not a happy customer. I guess they are right when they say you shouldn t always believe what you see in pictures because the picture shows the day we bought the truck so of course there is happiness. It s been nothing be tears since then. They WONT EVER see my business again.

My brother and I flew to this car lot from Colorado to look at a Nissan 350z. We were sent pictures and had numerous conversations with the employees at J and M about a car we were looking at. Once we arrived in Florida, the car that we were looking at was nothing like the pictures we were sent. J and M had sent photos of a different car (a second black Nissan 350z that they had) to make the car seem nicer than it actually was. The car was cheaply re-painted, had body panels not lining up, dents, cracked windshield, bent wheels, oil leaks, and a number of other sketchy problems. They lied about the condition of the car to our face, knowing we were going to pay for a trip out there from Colorado. The employees were not helpful at all, and even admitted that they knew the car had problems when we met them in person. This car lot is shady and I would not trust any car from here. Save yourself the time and money, and do not buy a car from this lot. They took our $200 deposit, and left us in Florida dissapointed and angry. If we could give a negative review, we would.

Worst expirience ever. Profesionalism is the word that you will never experience with these "people". I don't work in a dealership and this is my first time buying. If he say he just need my driver license so i can test the vehicle i think im good to go when he took my license. He start yelling that im the dumbest person he ever seen. Again. Is my first time buying and he never says he needed to go with me or that he was coming back. He only took my license when he says "if you want to test it i just need you license".

We traveled from Reddick to Leesburg for our 2008 GMC Yukon Denali. Chris was a joy to work with and we worked out a fantastic deal. Connie in the office made the paperwork easy. Boss the Bulldog is the best mascot we have ever seen. We will surely enjoy our "new" vehicle from J & M Affordable Auto.

Wonderful service here and always pleasant to visit. I have purchased 4 cars through J&M for myself and for my family, it is the place I always recommend due to the standard they hold themselves to as well as truly having the cleanest cars in Lake County. They work with you to make sure you have the car that YOU want not pressuring you into buying "the flavor of the month." They conduct themselves accordingly and always have a wide selection to choose from, each of them being inspected by a local mechanic that I know and trust. Can't wait to purchase vehicle number 5!

Definitely feel cheated and swindled by this company. Was sold a straight up lemon. The car was 2k and lasted 2 weeks. Tried to contact owner and see if they were willing to help. Was told by the salesmen "Good Luck". That statement right there by there own employees shows the character of the owner of this company. Please head my advice! Do not do dealings with this place. You will get shafted!!

Would not buy again from here. Bought a truck and within 2 months the air broke, radio broke, got a fuel leak, and the mechanic looked at it and noticed the whole frame was rusted out and had holes to the point where it is falling apart. Getting a attorney to get out of the payments now for not disclosing frame damage.

I guess they're not particularly interested in selling cars. Last Friday I sent them an email (through their contact form on their very outdated website) with a basic inquiry about a vehicle they have listed for sale . It is now Tuesday and I have received no response. And yes, I've checked my spam and junk mail folders - nothing.

Staff was great, owner cut us a break on vehicle went above and beyond just selling us a vehicle. I would definitely return. Will return soon since truck was totalled in accident. When owner was told he offered to find us another truck similar to the one we got. This is by far the best dealership ive ever gone to. Go here first and you will agree one hundred percent. Loved our experience here. Id give ten stars to be honest

My husband and I found a truck at this dealership, informed AJ, the Sales Manager on Friday that we would purchase and when we'd get to the dealership. We were 5 hours out of town and getting financed locally because they only finance in Florida. He said ok, and NEVER mentioned a deposit. We would have gladly wired a deposit to hold the vehicle but we're not afforded that option. He didn't tell anyone at the dealership that he had a buyer and the owner sold it on Saturday. We had bank approval and confirmation. Very disappointing and unprofessional.

Found J&M Affordable online. Found a few cars in my price range. Everyone was very helpful in the buy process. My 2004 infiniti g35 looks and drives like it just came from the dealership! They ensure every car that sell is in tip top shape from cosmetics to repairs. I'm very pleased with the type of friendly business provided. I will most definitely return to purchase another vehicle.
