I took my 2007 Honda pilot in for service. The original diagnosis was the head gasket. They told me they were going to put some kind of a seal on the head gasket to fix it and it would take 24 hours to dry. I had no problem with that the next morning when I went to pick up my car, they gave me an additional $60 on an ignition coil which they never called to ask if I wanted to put on and it wasn t a head gasket at All, so they charge me $190 for the head gasket service that it didn t need and won t refund my money they were rude. They were nasty and I would never ever suggest going there. They should ve given me my money back for the misdiagnosis terrible place terrible service terrible people.

I'm a little saddened. My car has to go back up there for the same problem they supposed to have fixed. And it's still not fixed. Now when it hits 65 it starts to run rough. And it definitely never done that. All that money i paid. Now it makes me think they rushed or didn't do anything to itNow I'm going to have to take it somewhere else for them to look at it. And they were highly recommended. I don't know what they did but they shouldn't have done it.

Had a new rack and pinion, and oil pan, last year.And had to have a new steering column arm put in this year.I am from North Carolina, and I take my truck there when I visit if I need repairs. I have had no issues with any of his work. I would recommend his staff and their work to anyone. My husband and I were stranded with our three dogs on highway 301 at the fast trackwith a flat tire and a young gentleman from Thompson's Garage came to our rescue! He came and picked up our tire, fixed it and returned it with a smile and for a very reasonable price! We are very great full and thankful you were there to help us in our time of need. On vacation in Florida for the last two and half weeks. Leaving to head back home to Texas and heard a noise from the breaks. Looked on google for a nearby garage to check our breaks before heading home. Found Thompson Garage (Lawty, Fl.) just 8 miles from where we were and it showed very good ratings. We stopped in and the owner (Kenny) said to disconnect our fifth wheel and they would look at the brakes immediately. Five minutes later he walked me out to show me that I needed all four brakes and rotors (I agreed). I pull a lot of weight with my F350 and need my truck for work and play. The price, the quality, and professionalism was exceptional. They finished my truck in less than two hours from the time I stopped in there shop and charged me an absolutely fair price for the work done. I would recommend this shop to anyone local or passing through. My hopes are that GOD will continue to bless their family, home, business!!!!!!Thank you again for your honesty!!!!

Only drawback I had was my vehicle messed up Thursday night, so i drop it off on Friday, they closed early on Saturday, and they evaluate Friday, late Afternoon. so it was Monday or Tuesday they started work, and I get it back Tuesday afternoon. The repairs were only a couple hours of labor. And sometimes not always they are a little slow. But they have do have a lot of Work. They are Professional, Reasonable priced, normally they stand behind their work and give a warranty . . I reccomend this Garage, and I recommend not dropping it on a Friday . . If you do that's your fault.

Excellent service, highly recommend. Took my car for front end wobble, they took their time troubleshooting and I ended up with two new tires. Affordable and honest work. Car drives like a dream. A big thank you to Kenny and his mechanics

I recently took my truck here for a brake problem Kenny and his crew did me right. Got me right in , I got all new back end put on and the price was extremely reasonable. And they were so efficient I had my truck back in record time. I would definitely recommend them and I will absolutely go back the next time I need any repairs done. Genuine hometown service done right. Thank you Kenny!

My daughter and I were traveling from Maine to St. Petersburg when her maintenance light came on. Her oil was a bit low so we added a bottle but wanted to get it checked just for piece of mind. We drove in on a Friday without an appointment, explained our situation. They took a few minutes to come check out the car, reset the maintenance light and set my mind at ease that the car was ok. I asked what I owed and they would NOT take any money! They could have made us wait, they could have charged us or taken advantage of us but they did not. True Southern hospitality.! Very grateful!Service: Oil change

Had a wheel bearing go out on boat trailer about a mile North of town at 6am Good Friday morning while heading to spring break w 3 kids from SC. This could have been a disaster. NICE police man directed me to Thompson's.He drove to boat w tools. He and I worked Axel together. On road in two hours. It was owner's son that helped me. Only charged$100. Gave him a equally big tip for avoiding an all day or possible holiday weekend breakdown.Thanks so much.Dad and 3 kids

Great service and the best price(s) around, but I asked the gentleman who was doing an alignment for me to tell me before doing it if anything was loose that he could see or feel. Told me there wasn't, so I had the alignment done thinking maybe it was because car was out of alignment that it was making a Knocking/popping sound. Only to find out later it was the lower control arm that was going bad or had gone bad which I unfortunately will have to replace and then pay for another alignment. Yay me I get to spend more money that I can't really afford to. Metaphorically speaking other than this dropping of the ball on not detecting the part that was going bad. Service was very good.

we were returning home from Pennsylvania and we're about 4 hours from home the car started overheating.These guys did me a huge favor in taking me as a walk-in...Replace my thermostat and got me back on the road.These guys will definitely treat you right!

Great place to get your vehicle worked on. The owner is almost always up there, he is a very friendly and honest person. I would recommend them for any kind of vehicle problems. I see a lot of companies use them as there place to service their work trucks

On our drive home to Pittsburgh from Seminole, we blew a head gasket and needed to be towed. Went to Thompson's garage since it was 5 minutes away. Kenny was so helpful and an absolute god send. I dont know what me and my 3 kids would have done for the 2 days i was broke down if he and his wife didnt help us out the way they did. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.

On monday March 4 2019 my rv power steering and power brakes went out. I was traveling to Virginia. I call thompsons garage to fix it. They got me back on road next day. Everyone at garage were very friendly. Mr Thompson work very hard to find parts that we needed. His prices were much better than I expected. I would call him again if I needed him. Thanks for all that you did to get us back on road

We're from out-of-town and had a tire blow just a mile or so away from the garage. They quickly ordered a tire and had it installed soon after. Plus, the price was good. Thanks!

Always friendly and they do great work. Honest and resonably priced are two quality that are very hard to find in the same place along with a friendly face. But you will find this at Thompson's Garage.

Very good service and a great experience with the staff we broke down on 301 and they fixed it fast it took longer for the tow than to get it back on the road I highly recommend this shop

What a blessing to find Thompson's . I had serious transmission shifting problems. Transmission shops in Jacksonville were happy to charge up to $99.00 to diagnose the problem and up to $3000.00 for repair. The folks at Thompson's found the problem in minutes and it was a throttle sensor malfunction. Parts and labor, $100.00 . Good people!!!

Had my truckfor five days sensor overheating he said it was the radiator change the radiator still didn t fix it finally I just went there and said I want my truck he ate the radiator he said just don t never bring it back again I don t wanna see it very bad attitude said it would be done the next day so it wasn t done kept it for five days I just Want my truck back yelling at me tell me never bring it here again promise I won tService: Engine repair

I was coming home from a long trip fron NC had a horrible time. I was going down 301 and had a tire blow out. 2 nice gentleman followed me to Thompsons. I was greeted very friendly and fast. I was mentally and physically worn out and broke. Kenny Thompson helped me out greatly. I appreciate them so much !! Wish i lived closer. Thanks again Robin
