This a great place for recycling used auto parts. I've been able to find everything that I've needed when I've gone there. Especially if you have older vehicles 10 to 20 years old and you just want to keep them on the road.

This location used to be great. Unfortunately, not anymore. If you come here, odds are the part will be missing or broken even though you check their website and called beforehand. Just to have the guy at the front desk tell you. He can order from a different location for 3 times the price. They have No one that monitors the yard. I watched another customer break a perfectly good door panel in half And another customer cutting out a dash with a sawsall.

This used to be my go to place for used LS parts. Not anymore. Prices have gone completely out of control.$350 a PIECE for cylinder heads that I need to pull myself? Get real. Just a couple of years ago you could get a whole entire motor from this place for about that price, and still can at the competition.

Pretty sad when you can buy new cheaper then coming to scrap yard. And then do all the work of pulling the part off. Last time for me.

Looked on their website before heading over. Vehicle was in the exact spot as posted.Plenty of wheelbarrows and dollies to use available. Pulled all the parts I needed with relative ease and saved myself over $500. Worth the drive from Lakeland

That chick on the phone was SO rude. First of all I couldn't even hear what she was saying. Second of all she wouldn't explain nothing to me she was just annoyed by me calling. Rude rude rude. I'll go somewhere else thanks.P.S I was able to get more for my vehicle from neighboring companies so thanks for being rude I wasn't going to call any other companies so it worked out better for me!!!!!!!0 STAR

I arrived at noon to search for a used part for my vehicle. There were a lot of customers but there was still plenty of parking available. When I came in the door, I was quickly greeted by friendly staff. I mentioned what I was looking for, and that I had never been there before. Staff member briefly and clearly explained the process of entering the yard, and finding parts. The entire yard was mapped out clearly, and easy to navigate. I had a small container with a few tools, that was briefly inspected on my way in, and on my way out, which is customary. Admission to the yard was $3 and is good for the entire day, with proof of payment at entry. At my request, the staff gladly gave me a price for the part that I was searching for, before I went in the yard. Overall, the staff was friendly, the yard was organized, and salvage cars were parked neatly in rows, that were easy to navigate and access. To be well prepared, you can even look at their website, and see what cars they have in the yard that might be compatible with your search. I found this feature to be very useful. I would gladly go to this business again.

Worst business I ve ever seen. Long story short: No phones, inaccurate website, just to get you in the door and make you pay a fee to walk out empty handed. They don t take phone calls to discuss if parts are still on the lot or pricing on anything. So you have to waste time and gas to drive there and walk through the lot and look yourself. The online portal has in accurate parts and I didn t see pricing for parts I was looking for. Just to go in and check the lot to see if your part is there you have to pay $3. I do all of this just to find out the part I needed wasn t there. All I get was an awe. Not a I m sorry to hear that, we will update our system so it doesn t happen to someone else or anything.

The LKQ pick your part yards used to be great places to buy used parts. The parts prices were reasonable and you got a free 30 day warranty on parts. That's all changed in the past year. The prices on many parts have doubled or tripled and now you have to pay for a warranty on a part that may or may not work when you get it home. On many items , they've raised their prices so high that you might as well just buy NEW parts online for practically the same price. I've been a customer of these junkyards for over 20 years and it's sad what they've become now.

I ve been here a few times and always found some great parts. Prices are very fair and the staff are always friendly. I d recommend checking it out. Always new cars coming in and I enjoy coming there to get parts.

1. They don t take inbound calls(not even to talk to a manager)2. You call their number and expect to talk to a person and it tells you to go online then it hangs up on you.3. I bought a transfer case but I detached the electronics from the transfer case to insure it doesn t break while transporting, so they charged me for each item.The guy at the counter said he doesn t set the prices and he s only there for a check.(way to go employee, no wonder they need help) his attitude toward his job shows how much he cares.I wouldn t shop here if I could help it. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else.

Wow what a joke. Good luck talking to a person on the phone. Finally did get someone and oh boy I can pay 2x what the part costs new and pull it from their yard. I thought the whole reason places like this existed was to provide affordable parts for those willing to do the work, not gouge the working man because they're losing money on poor management

Avoid this place if at all possible. Was told I needed to spend more money to get a 90 day warrantee which turned out to be useless when I decided I did not want the part anymore the very next day. Prices are significantly higher than competitors even before the 90 day warrantee scam. There are plenty of other junkyards with better prices, better policies, and more importantly, better employees. Be warned.

if you want to speak to somebody press 2 when you call when it asks if you are calling to sell a car. anything else hangs up on you cause i guess they only care about making money off their cars. i called to ask how much a part was and she said she can t even look it up anymore! how can you be an employee and not know anything about the parts you are selling? i don t really blame her cause it s the way the company makes the computer system but this is next level trash

Staff was helpful and professional, drastically better customer service than the Clearwater location.Got all the parts I needed for both of my cars for a fraction of the normal price. The vehicle selection is not great but it s decent & you can set alerts on their website for when the makes and models saved in your account come in. Irecommend this spot for sure!

Extremely disappointed with LKQ and their new return policy. Be smart with your money and buy used elsewhere. Between all their fees most of their stuff cost less anywhere else. They do not inventory or test anything in their yard. Nothing you buy here comes with a standard guarantee so if you waste your time pulling a part and what you purchase ends up being faulty they will not exchange or return it unless you spend about 30% more and buy their 90 warranty. At that point you re better off just buying your part from a reputable salvage yard that pulls the part for you and gives you a standard 30 day warranty. They sell used batteries for about $50 when you can literally pick up a brand new one at Walmart for about the same. Be smart with your time and money and use the same device your reading this review from to order your parts online or browse pricing. Car-part.com is good for that.

Wow, I never thought a junk yard could be terrible, but this place found a way!After being a mechanic so many years, I can honestly say, stay away from here!!!!No customers are here and it's for a reason. Save your money and go elsewhere!!!!

I don't understand why they advertise both locations from down the street from each other. Clearwater and Largo. If u go to one u have to pay a cover again on the other one. Although the guy at the door tells u, if u didn't find what u were looking for go check out our other location. When I got to other location he tells me I have to pay again. I told him I was told I can go in with prove that I paid already and he is like no, you can't do that. "Trust me, I work at the other one. It's not the same: He says. I asked him well do you work at this location or the other one. And he says: "Well it's the same company" Exactly I should be able to pay one time for both. Especially if it's the same day!!!

I would give 5 stars, however..They've made some return policy changes, warranty changes, and significant price changes..not a fan of these changes, affects the prices and customer service significantly. Rumor has it's due to employee dishonesty and lack of company loyalty throughout the corporation. I Dont feel that the consumer should suffer because of dishonesty amongst the employee workforce.

Well organized yard. Courteous staff with great prices. Lots of walking when browsing. Don't go without water if it is 95 degrees, you will pass out. Veteran discount is a plus.

It was my first time there and I explained that I needed a little help. I told the attendant that I found two cars that might have what I need when I looked at their website. He helped me sign in and pay the 3 dollar entrance fee. He then explained how the map worked with the rows marked on the first car of each row. I followed his instructions and easily found the cars I was looking for. I found the exact part on the second car. I took it back in to the attendant's desk and paid for my part. It was quick, easy, and cheap. I will definitely be back. Their hours are great, even open on Saturday and Sunday.
