Karl and his son's are the most honest and kind people I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. The work is reasonably priced and the best thing is they will NOT FIX SOMETHING THAT ISNT BROKEN. I've taken my vehicles to Karl for the last 7 years. I've never felt scammed or cheated. I gladly recommend his shop to anyone and everyone!

In a Panic due to my car not starting for several days, and after many attempts to diagnose it myself.... I thankfully found Karl & Son's Auto Repair Inc. Online. I called and within an Hour my car was towed, at the shop, and in expert care. Karl answered all my questions quickly, was very reassuring, honest, and above board in his dealings. He kept me updated prior to all work and maintained an honest and affordable bottom line. I had my car back and running seemingly better than it did before the issue occurred and at a fair price. Karl demonstrated top notch professionalism every step of the way. I highly recommend Karl & Son's Auto Repair Inc if honesty and integrity are important for you and your Auto repair needs. My wife and I live in Melbourne, and our daughter lives across the state in Largo. Recently on a visit to our daughter I was driving her car and noticed smoke coming up from under the hood and could smell hot oil. My daughter has relayed stories to us over the past few years of taking her car somewhere for repairs only to be up-sold or over-charged and/or new problems showing up within a few days of leaving the repair shop.I looked for and found a place and people that proved to be honest and competent. From my initial phone conversation with Karl through the repair process he put me at ease concerning issues important to me such as integrity and trust as well as skill.Before Karl put the car up on the rack he mentioned that the problem might probably be a faulty gasket. I actually thought as well that the issue would be a gasket and was prepared to pay the bill for such a repair. After putting the car on the rack Karl discovered the issue was a small hole in the oil filter likely put there by something that struck it on the road. Karl knew I was prepared to pay a much larger bill for a gasket job and if he were a different type of individual he could have taken me and my money. Instead, Karl came and got me, showed me the simple problem and let me know that the oil was still clean and all I really needed to do was purchase a new oil filter. Due to his honesty, I asked him to do a complete oil change as well as service the car and I told him that any other work on the car would be committed to him and his shop.I let my daughter know that Karl and Son s is the place she should take her car for any future repairs or service.My gratitude and thanks to you Karl.Jim Powers

Excellent, efficient and affordable. As a new customer, Karl welcomed me to his shop. His genuine concern for my visit left me confident that my car was in good hands. Before performing any work I was thoroughly informed first of what needed to be done with quotes. The job was completed flawlessly in a timely manner. It was a pleasure doing business with Karl and I will be a returning customer. Hopefully later than sooner LOL

My daughter s car had plastic parts dragging underneath, and also needed an oil change. They took me right in and fixed the issue and completed the oil change in no time. It took a load off my plate and they were very pleasant and great to do business with. I recently had my car repaired at Karl and Son's based on a personal referral. I have a 2003 Infiniti G35 that needed some extensive work. I drove my car approximately 500 miles before writing this review to ensure that everything was working fine. My car works better now after the repairs than it probably has in a few years. I found Karl to be nice, honest and more than fair in his pricing. I am now a loyal customer and will gladly recommend Karl to anyone who needs an honest mechanic. Thank you Karl! As a member of the 55+ population and a female to boot, I can't tell you how wonderful it feels to NOT be taken advantage of.

I had my truck towed to Karl's on Friday , as it would not start and the dealership I went to for an oil change on Thursday sent me home with what they said was a corroded battery cable. They told me I needed a new one and it would not be available until Monday and would cost over 300 to replace. Karl fixed the problem in 10 minutes the part he replaced was 3 dollars. I would highly recommend Karl's for his expertise and honesty his prices are very reasonable he really helped me. Thank you Karl!

Had several services performed on different vehicles at this establishment. The quality of work is exceptional. Taking a car back for the same problem is such a hassle. So far, they have gotten it right the first time. That is important to me because it means they take pride in their work.

I am so glad I chose Karl & Sons to fix my car! My air conditioner wasn't working and I was so afraid it was going to be a really expensive fix. I've been taken advantage of in the past when dealing with mechanics but that definitely wasn't the case here! They called me shortly after dropping the car off to tell me it was just a fuse! It is so nice to have dealt with such an honest business! I am definitely taking my car back to Karl from now on! Thank you Karl & Sons!

I've lived in the Largo area for 3 years now. I've needed a mechanic 3 times. The first time I went to a big tire shop and I felt like I was over charged. So I did a little shopping around and Karl & Son. I will be using them for future mechanical needs. They were about half the price of the other shops, and they are very friendly.

I brought mr karl two vans that wouldn't even turn over. He has both vans running and working great!! Fast professional yet personal. Crook tried charging me $1400 for a part (yes just the part not including labor. I asked for clarification and he said half of the part was $1000) I found at 5 different places online and a half a mile down the road at an autozone for $550 same everything.Old man still trying the old tricks.Nice try boomer.If you see this place just keep driving.

Karl Jr and sr are over the top in customer service.... my car died out practically in front of their shop 10 mins before closing. Karl Jr took a quick look and knew exactly what was wrong.. .he ordered a part and it runs like a dream......thank you guys!!!!
