Jim at Asian Auto is an honest mechanic. Yes, I know, generally you don't hear the words honest and mechanic in the same sentence but with regard to Jim its true. He has worked on my vehicles many times over the 20 plus years I have been going to Asian Auto. I would not hesitate to contact him with any issue your car is having. Thanks Jim for being a great mechanic.

I was pleasantly pleased to have my auto serviced at the Asian Auto. This is the first time I have not felt like I was just another number as I was at my former provider. Jim was very helpful and I think he actually went beyond my expectations! Yes, I will recommend his shop to my friends! Jim is the best, most honest mechanic I've ever used. My family has used him for 20+ years. My first experience was when my wife was driving our Toyota mini van, the water pump blew in the middle Lane of East Bay drive. She could not pull over right away, she was crowded on either side. Once she finally was able to get over, the engine was knocking really loudly, I was CERTAIN the engine would need replaced. He COULD have told me that and I would have believed him. Nope, replaced the water pump and it was fine. Don't let the name fool you, he works on most anything. You won't be disappointed.

My Ford F150 truck needed ball joints replaced. I got quotes from 3 different repair shops ranging from $600 up. Saw an ad in Craigslist and called Jim at Asian Auto, he quoted me $368 including tax. Took the truck in today and he told me I just needed the upper ball joints and the cost would be half, $134. WOW, how often do you find a honest mechanic like that nowadays. Had him do the ball joints, install sway bars, (they had been clanging around for awhile) seal the leaky transmission plug and a synthetic oil change all for less than the original quote. It's so rare you leave a repair shop a happy camper so I was inspired to write this review - in full disclosure - I posted the same one on YelpI've found my go to auto repair place for the family's cars. My daughters car A/C stopped working and Jim fixed it for a lot less than we were quoted. She is one happy girl to have her AC working again. Thank you!
