Great work and customer service! Manager took my order and had the tech work on my car. Replaced and aligned wheels in a timely manner. The tech reported other things that needed attention but no pushing sale or anything like that. They just notated it on your file. The price for the tires were pretty good so check their sales special.

Went in late on a Sunday without an appointment because of a battery problem. They fit us in, swapped out the battery, and had us out the door in about an hour. Good price as well.

My car broke down in Lakeland late afternoon on Jan 18, 2024. I was able to push it to this Pep Boys where I spoke to Jared. He was very helpful, but explained they couldn't check it out until the morning of Jan 19. I got a call from Jared about 7:20am on the 19th detailing for me what was wrong and giving me an estimate. As it turns out, the needed repairs involved an alternator which had been installed in Tampa and was under warranty. I worked it out to have the car towed to Tampa. Pep Boys did not charge me for the diagnostics, which I expected to have to pay. Jared was extremely helpful and beyond professional. I especially appreciated how he got the estimate to me so early in the morning. I also observed how he treated other customers while I was waiting to give him my keys. He was equally as professional and helpful with them, even at the end of the work day. I give Jared and this Pep Boys location my highest recommendation.

Horrible experience time after time. The vehicle service is irrelevant because the people working here will lead to this locations demise. The service manager either needs extensive customer service training or should be removed from all customer contact responsibilities. He should never have the opportunity to speak with customers because he does not present that he cares in the least bit about anything. He alone makes the experience at this location terrible. I've given this location far too much of my time. Do not waist your time at this location.

The staff were quick and respectful. When I had a question about another service they recommended I get, the staff member explained it to me in an easy-to-understand and nonjudgmental manner and I appreciated it. I'll for sure be going back.

I can't find any shop that provides faster service on my car than this Pep Boys. Best to just wait at the shop, as they will consistently update you on what's going on with your service.

I needed rear brakes. I had been a Pep Boys customer in Minnesota, so I reached out for a price quote here in Lakeland. I then called the local Jeep dealership and found labor only to be double the price of the parts and labor at Pep Boys. I called back and spoke with John, who kindly scheduled me for service the next day. Thank you for the great service.

My husband called John at the Lakeland Store regarding tires for our truck and he said yes they have them. Arrived at the store, John over saw the whole installment. They balanced to tires. Everyone that worked there was friendly. It was a great experience to purchase tires.

Every time I go to this location I receive impeccable customer service. John and Mike treat me as though we have known each other forever and I feel very confident when I take my vehicles here they will get the attention they need. A+++++

Needed a battery, got in and out quickly. But, what I was most impressed with was how kind the service advisors were with an elderly lady that was having a bad day. They helped her to the waiting area, made sure she was comfortable and quickly were able get her back on the road. Thank you guys for your kindness and compassion.

I brought my vehicle in for a check engine light and code for a minor leak in the EVAP system. After repair, 2 days later the check engine light came on, now with a code for major leak in the EVAP system. Per the service advisor they missed the fact that the gas cap was not sealing properly and should have been replaced at the same time the other repairs were done. They also notified me that my serpentine belt was worn and cracking. When I asked why this wasn't brought up the last time my vehicle was there 2 months prior for a new alternator, I was told I should have been and not sure why it would not have been brought to my attention then. Before now, I have received excellent service from them, not sure what has happened for the quality of service to have deteriorated recently.

This location should be reported to the Better Business Bureau as they try to perform repairs that were unnecessary. They also lied about work needing to be done on my car. Once they were called on it they changed their story. Avoid this location at all costs because there is no Integrity or ethics in my opinion.I am absolutely positively flabbergasted that I was called and told that my front brakes were metal on metal with gouged rotors. The brakes were recently replaced up in New York before the car traveled to Florida. When asked for a photograph of the brakes their story all of a sudden changed. Apparently now the mechanic said the brakes were just rotting away. I have never heard of any mechanic referring to brakes as riding away. The best thing anyone can do is walk away from this service center.

Messed up my alignment and refused to put it back on the lift told me my car was in a wreck went in with a straight wheel came out totally pulling to one side had it looked at by a mechanic everything checked out bartow ford fixed it the first time

Came in for an alignment appointment, and my truck was serviced quickly. I wanted some quotes for new tires and was given multiple options which included the best sales and discounts at the time. Employees were great to deal with.

UPDATED 10/5/23 Highly disappointed. Lied and mislead me! Did not perform repair that we agreed on..... I had it checked out and discovered this. Told me on phone after dropping car off early that I needed all new rotors on my 85,000 mile Honda Civic. Asked could they please "turn" for me and do brakes ( pads, calipers, etc) on all ...guy said yes! DID NOT TOUCH rotors as they had rust and road grime still showing on surface. Rotors would have been smooth and Shinning had they performed service. Funny how I " need new rotors", yet scammed me out of a resurfacing of such. Initial estimate over the phone was $3200.00 for new rotors, brakes, alignment, CV joint, 2 new tires and windshield wipers that they did not put on! I eliminated new rotors and CV joint and final bill was $1000.00. Disappointed as I thought I had gotten a honest response to my initial review as someone commented from Pep Boys telling me to contact them thru email which I absolutely did .......crickets!!! I waited 1 month before returning to update this review to give the company ample opportunity to contact me and resolve to no avail. Obviously service guy was trying to up- sell repairs to me over the phone thinking I'd agree to THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS estimate when I only brought car in for brakes and 2 tires ...at last moment added wipers, that I still need unfortunately

Mike is always helpful. When I go there, I get told the truth. He is the reason, I got a new old car rather than spending 3,000$ on my car that had lights for every code appear. The car wasn't worth 3,000. And I've been to mechanics where I was always there, sometimes for the same problem. Mike was right! That money accumulates. I truly believe that they love what they do and it shows. I also like that I can sit there and wait at the shop comfortably.

Only because I can't leave negative stars, had my car towed here was there for a week, never received a phone call so I called them. Was told I needed a new motor but they couldn't find one and weren't interested in repairing the car so had it towed to another shop to replace the motor ($5000.) (Plus $260 tow fees).the other shop changed my spark plugs, running great now and saved $5000.. went back to this location and asked what they did to come to a new motor diagnostic..... Wait for it..... They started it... Thank God the engine could be returned And the new shop only charged me for a tune up
