I stopped in to get some new tires for my car and get my truck tires rotated. Tim helped me out. He was very easy to work with and explained everything. I was also able to meet several of the technicians while I was there and they were very friendly They took care of me quickly with very excellent pricing also the waiting area is comfortable. Definitely recommend!!

Sam is one of the best people to go to. They are very helpful and get the job done. I ve never had a problem with them unlike everywhere else I have gone. I wouldn t trust my vehicle with anyone else but Sam.

Midas 98N Lakeland is staffed with the most awesome Team. I just call and ramble away .Dave will know exactly how to handle the issue. He sent Jay ( of Jays Towing. Thank you Jay ! The Midas guys got my truck up & running. So nice. Trustworthy. So patient with my crazy self! This was a time that I wanted to lay on the ground, kick my feet and cry like a girl. Yup. These guys just kicked it all in gear and handled it. Have used this place for many years. Appreciate them.

I just recently made the switch to Midas on 98N for our vehicle needs. I previously used another company for issues with my vehicle and after I went to Midas for a second opinion, they discovered the previous company lied to me regarding repairs that were not needed. Today was my second visit at Midas and I am very impressed with their honesty and service! David is very knowledgeable and kind and Tim made my waiting time enjoyable with his sense of humor!

My fiance and I have brought multiple vehicles to this location with a wide variety of issues. I would absolutely recommend David and his team for any issues you have. They are all friendly, knowledgeable, and speedy. I will continue to come to this shop as long as I am in N. Lakeland.

Was super impressed!! Brought in my car because of Catalytic converter issues. Dropped it off at 8am and it was finished by noon. They also took take of some other things for me too. Great people at the desk too. Thanks for everything!!

I bought my car a year ago and we didn t know it was in bad shape, but due to these amazing people they fixed almost everything! The car has gotten me to school, to work, the beach, everywhere! For the down payment for the repairs is very cheap and I m very satisfied! Definitely would recommend this place because they actually get the job done correctly, no half-fast job, keep up the good work guys!

I want to give a better review but I'm still having issues after my catalytic converter repair they told me it's just a computer issue and that once it's fixed it shouldn't do it anymore well 800 dollars later it came right back on after I spent that money there then came back and they tried to say that it was something with my onboard computer and that you just have to go in and manually delete the code for the error. Well turned on my car this morning. 2 days later and the check engine light came right. Back on and I don't want to drive another 40 minutes just to have that issue fixed and spend another copious amounts of money in order to get something fixed

The guys off of Duff and 98 are great !! We re new in town and they made us feel right at home Tim, up front is super knowledgeable and Fun .Got us in and out super quick. They had payment options that helped us out. The owner / operator, David , is there and in the day to day operations and genuinely cares about the quality of work that is done there!!!

I was out of town and in need of an oil change so I took my vehicle to this location. To my surprise, Dave had inspected my tires and noticed that I had two nails in my right rear tire of which one was in the wall and unable to be repaired. Being out of town and away from my normal mechanic of 20+ years, I trusted what Dave had to say and noticed that he really cares and has built trust over the years with his customer base. I would never hesistate to revisit this store if ever in need again in Lakeland. The staff was attentive to what needed to be done and completed my repair in a timely manner.

Awesome service. They give you the best service on Earth. The receptionist are very welcoming and the mechanics explain everything in detail on what's going on with your car. They tried to give you affordable prices on your repair.

Really great customer service. From out of town was in a bind and the y fit me me and and got the job done. Tim at the front desk was super friendly and kind. David was super knowledgeable about what need to be done and friendly. Anthony was the mechanical person that worked on it and did a wonderful job. Thanks again guys

Great experience and service! Had a problem with a battery that needed expertise and knowledge in coding. Midas was able to solve the problem quickly and get me back on the road while explaining in detail what needed to be done and what was causing the problem.

I will forever take any of my Vehicle s to this location. Owner is very good at what he does and really has the customers interest in mind. Made sure everything was taken care of in the time I needed and found a solution to every problem!!!

Not real happy with the service, I know it's a repair shop but the floors are absolutely filthy so when you walk in them you have all kinds of oil and dirt and black whatever and you get in your nice car with your niece light floor mats they put a floor mat down in your car. This place doesn't even have uniforms and the clothing they're wearing the mechanics they're absolutely filthy you could see their filthy and they don't put any plastic on your seats I was standing there watching them for a little bit not one of them washed their hands before they got in a customer car.. so that means they had dirt grease and whatever on their steering wheel and on the handle to get in and out of the car.. I wouldn't go back anymore not unless the place is cleaned up and that can only mean one thing a new manager for the property. When I call for an oil change I call six places and they were booked solid for 4 days and this guy had openings so I'm probably not the only one feeling like it is it's too bad nice little place but not taking care of

My husband brought one of our trucks to Midas for a repair. They fixed the issue through our extended warranty coverage. We were charged additional "labor fee's" even though we paid our deductible.Once we got the vehicle back there was another problem. We took the vehicle back and they used the warranty again and charged extra money. After the 3rd time of bringing the vehicle in to be fixed they turned us away and requested us pick the vehicle up unfixed. We picked the vehicle up and it completely shut down in the next parking lot. We called the manager and asked him to come over and check the truck. After standing in the rain for an hour with the truck not running we watched the building close without any response from ANYONE there. I had to have my truck towed home. When I took it to Ford they reported the throttle body was not plugged back in and a fuse was removed that runs the computer of the truck. They are horrible. BEWARE!

Great customer service to Midas N. Lakeland. Timothy made you feel like Midas appreciates your business instead of just being a customer walking in the door taking a number. Great personality! Also, service tech saw I had a new air filter sitting in my front seat and took initiative to install for me as I forgot to ask if they would do. When picking up my vehicle I asked if they saw the filter in my seat. Timothy didn't think they installed so he sent the tech to install for me, tech let me know he already installed - Great surprise and appreciation. Thanks to both!

horrible. did not honor interstate battery warranty even though interstate web site said they had to they lied and said tire kingdom would not either. we took battery to tire kingdom they honored warranty no questions asked.

Great customer service. Reasonable prices.Got me in and out the same day, no appointment. Loved how they actually brought me into shop and showed me the issues with my suspension, which was obvious. Didn't try and make me feel pressured to do extra work. I am new to the area and this will be my new go to shop!

Here are a couple pictures of the quality of work you can expect if you visit this place. After spending three of my Saturdays at this place to get them to fix the air conditioner this is their solution. $870 to fix the A/c and they never did get it to work right. I removed and cleaned the compressor clutch myself and replace with a smaller shim to factory specs and now it works. Save yourself the time and money and do it yourself.Service: Air conditioning

Took my car to have abs control module replaced, front rotors, and all brakes replaced. They have had it 9 days. The 7th day my hubby called to find out when it would be ready. He was told the part just got there and he would call in a couple hours to pick it up, nobody called. The next day Alex called me and said he had good and bad news. Good was what I dropped it off to have done was fixed, but I needed calipers on front and hardware kit for the back drums. They ordered the parts before calling me and it's gonna cost $500 plus $1600. I was told my car would be ready and he would call me. No one called, so I called back to b told they were working on it and it would b finished today and they would call me today. Again no one called and I have to wait till Monday to get my car. I will never use Midas ever again.Update: Day 11, I received a text saying they haven't been able to program abs since Saturday. That means my car wasn't ready the last I talked to someone like I was told.Update 2 months later: I discovered while raining my tires began to spin and my traction control warning lights didn't come on like usual when this would happen. I pushed the traction control button and still lights didn't come on, it worked before they worked on my vehicle.Traction control piggybacks abs control module, so something wasn't done for it to not work now. I'm upset to have paid almost $2300 for them to not do the repair completely. I'm afraid to take my car back to them cause they more than likely will say its not their fault and say I have to pay them to fix something that is their fault. Worst experience.Services: Auto brake repair, Brakes, Auto brake replacement

Tim is awesome! The waiting room/office is pretty hot. He does his absolute best to accommodate customers and made sure I wasn t too hot while waiting! The rest of the crew is very friendly as well! Quick service and not many lines!

Tim was awesome to work with and had a part shipped overnight instead of the usual two-day shipping that it would have been normally. They fixed the entire AC system in the car in a quick and timely manner. Great service every time I need assistance with either work or personal. Tim is very knowledgeable and has a great laugh as well as the whole team just makes it a fun environment to be in while the vehicles get worked on or paperwork is being done. Also there is no telling which classic automobile may pull in while you're waiting.
