Best auto shop hands down! They took the time to research and explain everything. They got me the best price and got it done fast. I got new tires, brakes, rotors, and upper control arms on my truck. Didn t try to add stupid stuff I didn t need. Great bunch guys and gals. Cut and dry. Here s the issue, this is the solution. Can t find a better place anywhere in this state. Come see American Auto. The technicians listend to my needs and what I wanted. Even when small problems arose they made suggestions as to how to resolve it. All and all their work and attitude was excellent. I would highly recommend American Auto Repair!

I was looking for quotes for my Honda Pilot 2008 brakes last week. I needed the service ASAP. I was at first looking for chain shops, not knowing about AAR. While googling, I found this store and I made the call. Mike was very friendly and made me feel at ease trusting them immediately. We booked for the next day and wow: The crew is very friendly and trustworthy. Professionalism all the way and a clean workshop / waiting area too. Being local owners, they offer really good prices compared with chain brands. Oh, and relatively speed service! I had an amazing experience, thus making them my new local auto repair shop.

Just wanted to thank everyone there for taking on my truck at the last minute, brought my truck in at 8:50 am and got back 12 noon ,definitely in time to .ake it to my tampa V.A. APPOINTMENT in tampa!!!!. Thank you so much for changing my starter and getting my truck back so fast , you definitely take care of your customers and VETERANS.

Honesty and Integrity here! My car dealership said I needed new brakes. I called AA and chose to get them replaced here because the price quote was cheaper than the dealership. I showed up, the staff was extremely friendly (from phone appt, to in person as well) and helpful. They took the car back, inspected my brakes and told me my brakes looked almost new and there was no need to replace them unless I just wanted them to. Can you say WOW ! They could have just replaced them and didn t say anything, but their willingness to be transparent and honest wouldn t let them NOT tell me. I appreciated the $$ savings and the information! Based on everything I just mentioned, I m 100% going to ensure I make American Auto Repair my cars new home as I can trust what they say. Thanks for being honest and caring about your customers!

Did a great job fixing my car even with the complications. Had to fix my backup camera and it ended up being a problem with my radio. Fixed both and extremely happy with the job they did. Very sweet amazing people here. They did a great job.

For sure, a must for your car to visit. Mike ordered me a tire, it arrived when they said, Jeremy gave me a great quote, Brittany , super nice welcome, efficient and friendly. Tire on quickly and a free diagnostic on what was going on with my car. For sure, will be returning for another tire and some radiator work.Rare to have such a positive experience in a bizz, from start to finish. Great place abd people! No need to look elsewhere for car repair.

The Mike and the young lady was awesome and Lance the gentleman that did my exhaust on my vette did a great job and knows what he doing. You have yourself a great crew. Thanks and I will be seeing them in the future for any repairs.

These guys are AMAZING!!! Our jeep wrangler died. I had it towed and they told us what was wrong and got everything fixed with 2 days!!! Their prices are great and the customer service is top notch!!! I will absolutely use them again if needed in the future and I HIGHLY recommend them!!!

Honest people that do honest work!!!!! Rare trustworthy people.Drop my car off Friday just to have an inspection because the car was making a crazy loud noise after they inspected it they found out that the muffler had detached while it was on the the lift the timing belt broke it took days to get my car back i was super frustrated when I went to pick up my car up and was informed they ordered all those parts and did everything and because it took so long they didn't charge me a thing.. Mr Kevin told me to have a nice Thanksgiving. What a great business I will only !!use them

Very friendly and helpful. I brought my Honda Pick up in because it was riding funny . They did a very thorough inspection and let me know everything that my truck needed and how much it would cost . I explained I couldn t afford everything and they helped me decide what services were needed immediately and what could wait without the pressure you get from a lot of shops. I ll definitely be back .Services: Tires, Vehicle Inspection

I was referred to American Auto Repair by someone. Via online checking out the business, I was so impressed reading though Google reviews. My real experience with American Auto Repair from the appointment phone call to receiving the service (of fixing engine light on) was even more impressive.OMG! the front desk lady was so friendly that I felt like I was calling a friend to ask for help; then at the appointment, the mechanic was so nice explaining the problems clearly, and he liked my car so much that he even blew it a kiss when retuned it back to me. How nice!!!At the end, what I like the most from the experience with American Auto Repair was that the charge was so affordable.I am happy that I found a great service place to take care of my car when it needs attention. THANK YOU, American Auto Repair.

Great service very professional. On my second visit to your company I had a great experience and I want to thank Jeremy Giles for his help I was told to come back the following week to get my car repaired but he jumped in and said hey I'll do it for you right now and I appreciate it very much for I am a senior and time is always important especially with doctor's appointments. You have a very good professional person there I hope you're taking care of him thank you again Jeremy.

The repairs that I had under a dealer warranty I went in on one day they they contacted the warranty people made an appointment for the repairs came back after everything was approved. I was charged $50 over agreed-upon deductible for the warranty. The car was done in a reasonable amount of time, I got the car home and there was a grinding noise and it was A Loose dust, cover behind the break rotor took about 15 minutes to fix after that it was good to go No problem sense

The whole experience was great from start to finish. The technicians explains everything before it's started. You get to approve everything before the work is begun. From the front desk to the workshop there is professionalism throughout. I would highly recommend this repair shop for all your car care needs.

If you have a BMW I recommend bringing it to this shop. The whole crew has been very respectful and trustworthy. Had a bad injector that was replaced and a window shade in the rear that was replaced and other services as well. I'll be bringing it back when other problems come up. Thanks Jermey and Louis.

I had a great experience at American Auto Repair! This is an amazing auto shop I took my older Newley financed vehicle that had a lot of problems they looked at told me what was wrong almost immediately! And the best part? They didn t even charge me for diagnosing the problem because it was better to take it back to the dealer because I had so many problems with the car they understood my situation and it felt really good very good people

Will not take my car anywhere else!I m always greeted with a smile and sense of calmness from Kevin and the mechanic team is beyond amazing.I ve never had to take my car to them for the same problem more than once! They are always truthful, reassuring and tell me exactly what s wrong with my vehicle.They get you in and out which is so important to me being that my vehicle is my only daily driver at the moment.Thank you guys keep doing what you re doing.

My car threw some codes on Sunday. A local shop told me it was the Catalyst system. I am new to Florida so I called a few Auto Repair places with four and five star reviews for an estimate. The first one told me bring it in next and we will put in a new one and charge will be $866. Then I called American Auto and spoke with a very friendly man named Jeramy. He advised to bring my car in for a diagnostic. He said it may not be the Cataletic Converter at all, The diagnostic will let us know where the problem is if there is one. He was very kind and got me in the next day. I arrived on time and Britney was very kind and so was the man there with her. I took about 20 minutes and Britney told me there was nothing showing wrong with my car on the Diagnostic. She advised me to drive it and if the codes come up again bring it in right away and they will check it. The did not charge me. I will absolutely go back if I need any mechanical repairs and I highly recommend them for service. I found a place I feel I can trust. So far after 60 miles, no codes have come up!Darla Nassif, Lakeland FL

American Auto Repair in LakelandFL is by far in my experiences is the best place to have your vehicle worked on. Kevin the manager is friendly and up front as to what needs to be done, also the mechanics are polite and easy to talk to. I personally recommend American Auto Repair for your needs from simple oil changes, tires and complex engine work.Bill P.

My son was in a hard spot didn't have money to tow his truck so they came out on the spot and changel the starter and hooked him up with a new battery and terminals for an unbelievably affordable price definitely people you can trust thanks American Auto repair

Very professional, felt it was a fair price for completed work. Very fast, I dropped the car off after work and picked it up the following day.Had to take the mini cooper back in as the PVC valve needed replaced they confirmed that was the problem and called me with the estimate to perform the repair. It took a bit to get the part, understandable as Mini cooper's are difficult to work on, the part was replaced and the car runs great so far. So thankful to find a repair shop that does great work at a very fair price in fact the price he quoted ended up being a lot less then estimate. I would recommend this shop to anyone the honesty alone is worth the time to give them a shot. Thank you all for the work you do in keeping my car running.Service: Engine repair
