While on highway 27 we got a second low tire pressure light on our F-150, which had just been serviced elsewhere. These kind folks removed the tires, checked all four wheels and assured us that there wasn t anything wrong with the tire pressure so that we could continue with our trip without a worry. Best of all, there was no charge for all the kindness tended. Great service and folks. Kindness still exits out there. Thanks God for service center like this one. Good old fashion customer service!

Efficient service . However, I purchased & had them install 2 shock absorber struts . 1 fail after 1000 miles , the other less than 7000 miles . They should have lasted atleast 24,000 miles . Otherwise , good quality repairs .

I've had not too many things done there but they have used tires and good used tires that are good price and their mechanics aren't bad but I haven't had too much experience there so I'm only going to give them three stars right now so far that's that's all I can do but they they were helpful and they were they sell used good tires for very very reasonable price other than that we'll see

Simple extraction of a nail from a back tire and patching it - did take the wheelOff and balanced it - pleasant banter. Professional guys.

Pleasant. Received quickly, and helped with tires inspection on my vehicle. The paperwork up on 4 new tires was fast and the prices, I'd say is reasonable. I will return their in due time for service.

I wouldn t recommend these people to even put a tricycle tire on for me. Wanted them to press 2 bearings on and they only got one done and they screwed that up and costed me triple. very unsatisfied with this company Steve the manager is a complete moron that has zero accountability and I highly recommend no one using these people.

Retired people are being taken advantage of by Seminole tire!After waiting over 2 hours to get a slow leak on my rear tire fixed, I was told that I needed 2 new tire on the rear and the fronts were ok.I had them order the 2 new tires and made an appointment for 8AM, 2 days later. I got there at 8AM and waited till 9am for them to pull my car in. I was then told that I needed 4 new tires or my transmission could be damaged, they could not do just 2 tires.... Sounded like a scam to me. I called Mercedes Benz and they told me, that was NOT true what they told me, if the fronts were good tires I only needed to change the back ones assuming they were the same tire brand and size, which they were... I found Seminole Tire to be very deceptive and dishonest. BE WARNED!!!

Definitely have not had the best experiences with this place. This is the second time that they ve guaranteed my vehicle done in a certain timeframe, and when I call to check in I find out that they haven t even looked at it. I make sure to specify that if they don t have the time to do it to let me know, but it never seems to work out that way. The only reason they get two stars is because they did an ok job when I had time to just leave a vehicle with them for over a day. I made an appointment, they told me it d be no problem to change out my tires and that it d take an hour or so. I ended up spending over four hours there. This time around, I called the day before, and they said they d do it first thing in the morning. I called two hours to check in and see what was going on, and I found out they hadn t even looked at my vehicle yet. Very disappointing since I ve talked to other people who ve had the complete opposite experience with them. I guess it just depends on who you are.

I stopped in late this afternoon due to my low pressure light coming on. Not being from the area, I needed a tire looked at fast before an hour and 45 minute drive back home. Now mind you, it was almost 4:30, the woman behind the counter was fantastic! They got my car in, showed me the nice piece of metal in the tire and fixed it fast!! I highly recommend them and the customer service I received!! I travel to Lake Placid at least once a week and if ever an issue will be going there!!

Stopped in for an emergency repair of a flat for my RV. They almost seemed put off that I just stopped in without an appointment. There were 3 others in the lobby at the time. The best they could do was put air in the tire. They told me to wait 4 hours for the next appointment. I couldn't do it since I was traveling and had to get to my campsite. I was told I could go down the road to Carcamo's. I did and got it fixed immediately without an appointment. Nice folks there and charged me $30 for a patch.

I got bamboozled. I will not be using the place of business again. I routinely get their flyers in the mail for so much off tires and auto service. Last month I decided to use the one for a transmission flush for my 2007 F150. It was for $10 off. I had already called in advance to get the price. It was $199 plus tax. So, I knew it ahead of time. I waited in the lobby while the work was done. The salesman called me to the desk and gave me the bill. I then presented the coupon for the $10 off. I watched him enter some numbers to the already printed bill and he tells me it's now $189. I pay with my card. Got home and noticed they had charged me the full price of $199. I never got the discount!!!Last week I decided to give them another try. This time I used a coupon for $15 off for any work totaling up to $200. I had the brake fluid and the power steering fluid flushed and refilled with fresh fluid. Price came to $189.90 plus tax. Again, I had called in advance to get the price, so I knew what it was. This time before the work started I told them I was using one of their coupons. After the work was finished he calls me to the desk and the first thing I noticed the price was wrong. I asked him if he used the coupon and he said yes, but we are charging you a $13.59 fee for shop supplies!!!! What the hell!!! Break down of the brake fluid and power steering flush on the sales receipt they gave me:Brake fluid flush- Parts $49.95 Labor $40.00 Total $89.95Power steering flush- Parts $59.95 Labor $40.00 Total $99.95Why in the world are they charging me $13.59 for shop supplies when I'm paying $49.95 and $59.95 for parts? What parts? They didn't install any parts!!! Other than fresh brake and steering fluid. And they have the stones to charge me for a shop supply fee? They didn't charge this fee when I had the transmission fluid flushed because the coupon never actually got entered and they lied to me to make it look like it did.It's a shame they have to do this to recoup for the loss of money due to the coupon being used. Yeah, make up a shop supplies fee to give your discount back to them. This place has really gone downhill. They have always been expensive, but done great work in the past when I've used them. Not Anymore!!!! I'm finished with Seminole Tire of Lake Placid. There are other places in town I will go to such as Automotive Point. They are not nearly as expensive and do great work and they will get all my business from this point on. My serpentine belt is the next thing to be replaced. I can tell you one thing. Seminole Tire will not be doing it nor ever touching my truck again.......

This place is fantastic! The staff are super friendly and very fair. We are snowbirds from Ontario and our A/C stopped working. They checked the car out completely and were very honest about what it needed and we decided to wait until we got home to get the work done. The checking and testing took over an hour and a half and the charge was $0. Dustin, you rock! Thanks for being a great asset to this business. We will never go anywhere else for auto service!

Don't ever expect Good Year tire warranty work here. They are in cahoots with the manufacturer and come up with excuses why the work won't be covered. SICKENING!

I dropped a trailer tire off due to bad valve stem. Associate took name, said he would tag my tire, i came back 2 hours later, no work order. They did it right away, but associate dropped ball. Glad he wasnt there when i went back. I would have unloaded, but Mgr. Took charge and got it repaired. I picked up, paid. left. Two hours later they call to say ready for pickup? Omg. Disorganized.

Very professional, fast, and efficient. I came in to get my tire fixed here today and I was helped very quickly and the gentleman at the desk was very kind and professional.The technician that fixed my tire even came up to me ahead of time to talk about it and answered my questions that I had. He went above and beyond by checking that my tires were all on tight, not just the one that needed to be repaired, he even mentioned it to the man cashing me out, so I know he cared enough to remember and follow up.I had an appointment, which I showed up for slightly early and they got started as soon as I arrived, plus there was a pot of hot coffee in the waiting area.I would absolutely recommend this business to others looking for similar services.

Took my car to get an alignment, they said i need to get a camber kit put in i advised them all i had on me me was enough for the alignment. I asked would it be pointless to do the alignment without getting the camber kit they said yes and still did the alignment and i was charged for it. I brought it back back 3 days later to install the camber kit and was told i only needed it for one side, the passenger front because that tire was wearing out on the inside mind you i had just changed the driver side because it wore out first but ok, they do the alignment and the camber kit on the one side and my vehicle now shakes violently when i go over 55mph. My vehicle was not shaking at all before i took it there. I should not have been charged for the 2nd alignment 3 days later when they clearly stated the 1st one was pointless. I Do not recommend tbis place not even to my worst enemy. Friendly but full of it.

Excellent work and service. Fast and great prices. We pulled our 1980 Toyota camper in and they fixed the wheels in about a half hour. Definitely recommend this shop

This place deserves zero Stars. their service is terrible they will damage your vehicle, lie to you, and then try to cheat you out of your money. I wouldn't use this place ever again and I wouldn't suggest it to anybody else either. The new owners are unfriendly and unreasonable and in no way shape or form can compare with the previous owner.

The moment you enter their service center you will notice the team effort to make sure your experience is the best ever. I had a low pressure sensor fault msg, Ray took the time to explain why and even shared with me how common this is and how easy it is fixed. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and again thank you for such excellent service.

I would not recommend this place. I took my car in to have the water pump replaced. They refused to do the work because I would not allow them to replace my head gaskets turning this situation into an expensive endeavor. I went to harbor freight in Sebring bought the tools to check the compression myself and determined there was no blown head gaskets just a failed water pump. If you need tires they might be a good shop, if you need repairs, buyer beware. I did not want to do the repairs because I was on vacation, but ended up doing the work myself because I could not find a trustworthy shop.

busy tire/ mechanic shop with10+ bays, owners in business almost 50 years. great service. great location just off US27 in Lake Placid fl. food and drink closeby for while you wait to have your tires, oil changes, etc expertly and efficiently carried out. staff is attentive and respectful.

While passing thru Seminole on a Friday evening pulling a 3 horse trailer we had a blow out on the trailer. We called asking if there was a possibility that someone could come and change the tire on the horse trailer and without hesitation the young man on the other end of the line said yes....no problem. This gentleman came and helped us after hours and the insisted that we go by the shop so he could check the other tires to make sure that the rest of our trip would be a safe one. This was an absolute godsend for us since we were 3 1/2 hours from home. I would recommend this business to anyone and everyone.... I wish I lived closer so I could give them all my business .....thanks again for all you help!!

My son took his car here. The car has an issue when stopping it wants to stall and the car does not want to start after getting gas. The person was rude to him from the drop off to pick. They state they checked the car and cannot find anything wrong. They charged over $100 to tell him they can't find anything on a vehicle that clearly has issues.

Seminole Tire Co has become my second "family" for all my vehicular needs to include tune-ups, replacement parts, tires & everything in-between. Ray & Steve at the Service Desk are always friendly, knowledgeable, & customer-accommodating. Even when extremely busy, they find time to patiently answer customers' questions. My compliments to the professional & experienced mechanics whose job-longevity with Seminole speaks volumes for quality service. I've found pricing to be honest and fair; no overselling of unnecessary maintenance/materials. Larry & Jennifer Sapp, Seminole's owners, went out of their way to help me when "rats" invaded the engine in my SUV. Without their assistance, I fear these rodents would have chewed through hoses/lines rendering my vehicle hazardous to operate & placing my life in jeopardy. I highly recommend Seminole Tire Co. for your automotive needs - I wouldn't trust my vehicle to any other business in the area!
