For having a tow truck called, Doug was amazing. He pulled my mother in law's car out of almost being in our pond. He was careful and considerate about not causing more damage to the car or property.

Terrible Company. I would not recommend at all. I called for a Tow Truck, Someone i spoke to said it would be an hour. I asked if there was any track i can get to have updates on the tow truck driver. he said that s for rich people and i said okay. so after an hour, i called twice to get an update. i got a text after waiting for an hour saying he was cancelling our tow because we called multiple times This is very unprofessional

Doug was such an angel today! He helped me get my car unstuck after I did something really stupid. Lol. No only that but he did it with a smile and helped teach my son a little something in the process. I can't tell you how much I appreciate him. I would recommend you give this company a call anytime you have the need for friendly and professional help.

They haven't even picked up my truck yet but, I can already recommend Swanson's to EVERYONE AND ANYONE looking for a tow. They charge a $4/mile flat rate. No hookup fee, no labor fee. I called and Doug made me feel like part of his own family. I can't say enough good things about them. They are genuinely concerned about you as a person and not just as a source of money.

Quality service in helping me get back into my car.Doug let me know when he'd arrive, though there was another service he was wrapping up; came on time relative to his estimate.Price was kind and reasonable.Doug's light-hearted humor during the entire process was especially appreciated; I could tell he wasn't in it for the buck, but, rather, to help his people out.Thanks again for getting me back on the road!

Stole our vehicle!!! It s been 2 weeks since I paid Brien with and E of Swanson Towing to tow our van to the dealership Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram in Jacksonville Florida. It still hasn t made it to the dealership. Every time I spoke with the uncle, the owner of the shop. I was told the van would be dropped off in 2 hours. For 5 days this was the story. The neighbor says her car was hit by the driver of the tow truck. Now whether it was their truck or our van which was being towed on the back is beyond me. Finally I had to call the police because it hasn t delivered. Now Swanson won t answer my calls. Do Not Use This Company!Services: Car towing, Long distance hauling

Let me tell you something about this amazing man Doug. They don t mAke them like him anymore. He is honest and truthful in his work. No bs. I won t be using anyone else, Doug has the goods lol. Meaning good customer service lol. But for real customer service is super important in any business and this man goes above and beyond.

I don't know what I would have done without this company! This past Saturday night, when literally every other tow company and locksmith refused to help, Swanson Towing came out to help retrieve my key that I thought was locked in my car (for a reasonable price at that). When it turned out to not be inside the vehicle, he loaned flashlights and helped us search the area for the better part of an hour. After giving up hope of finding it, he provided us with one of his personal contacts who could cut us a key that night to allow us to make the trip back home to Tampa. 5 stars doesn't even BEGIN to do justice to how thankful I am!

Highly recommend! On our long drive home from vacation our truck broke down on the highway. We were pulling our travel trailer and had our 3 young kids and dog with us. They arrived quickly, were very friendly, and did their best to help make accommodations for our family. Towed all of us (including our dog) and camper to the nearest campground and helped us get set up. They took our truck back to their shop and helped us fix it as soon as possible. Mind you they picked us up on the side of the road Saturday evening and work on our vehicle Sunday too. They offered to take us to the store to get food or anything we needed. He finished with our truck Sunday night and got it back to us and we were back on the road Monday morning. Great family business. Thank you for all your help!

My starter went out in my 2500hd and I was considering fixing it in the parking lot because I know towing can be expensive. I called just out of curiosity and to my surprise I got one of the best professional experiences of my life. This company went above and beyond in every way. The cost was cheaper than most companies would charge for just the hookup fee. After we got the truck home he tried to help me find a new starter for cheaper. Then several hours later he texted me a long text giving me tips on how I could possibly fix without replacing the starter. Just an all around amazing experience. Great to know that there are people out there with values like the people in this company.

Overall good experience with these guys. I called while stuck in lake butler. Needing to get home to lake city. Called Swanson's since it was listed on Google and the only company in union that I could find.I was worried..because in small towns the selection is very limited to none, so places can get away with bad business and overcharging. They didn't, thankfully. They did ask for a review which I thought was a A little unprofessional..No one wants to be bothered about that when broken down at night with a young child in the car. I understand needing reviews but that shouldve waited til AFTER THE SERVICE was provided. But, we're all human. They did offer $10 off the price for a review. i have no way to tell if I REALLY got a discount since I have no clue what their baseline price is. But, Either way, came to about $100 which I don't consider very much considering the distance that had to be driven. (About 20+ miles, plus the driver's trip out to me from ellisville). It took a little over 50 minutes for them to get to me. Which felt like forever at the time but is pretty reasonable considering it was after hours and the driver was at home when I called. Driver was an older gentleman. Very polite, friendly. We got home. My daughter had fallen asleep. When I carried her into the house , I didn't realize her shoe had fallen off in the truck. Until 2 days later when the driver went out of his way to bring it to my house himself. That was very appreciated and worth a 5 star rating in itself. I hope I personally don't break down again! BUT I would recommend to anyone who does.

Called and contacted Doug that there was a woman that needed a tow, he asked for the info to be sent to him This was sent promptly . Called and hour later after not hearing from him, he said get someone else, leaving her stuck, never tried to call us back or anything.. Don't count on Swanson towing if you really need help. They get one star, because that is the lowest you can give.

Very personable, treated me like we were old friends. Offered advice on the possible cause of my cars issue and told me to call anytime if I had any questions. Good to know there are still people who will help you out even when it doesn't make them money. Mr. Swanson's and his son came and recovered my vehicle this past Saturday. They did in exceptional job and had great customer service. Well priced and fast to respond when no one else would. would highly recommend them Antime.

Outstanding service!!!! My daughter and I were stranded on 75 in Lake City. Because it was 4:30 in the morning, Mr. Doug not only took our car to the dealership, but he also took us home in Gainesville. The service was above and beyond what I expected. Thanks Mr. Doug because as you know I would have been out side with my child at 4:30 in the morning still waiting on a ride home.

This kind of genuine, top notch, quality of customer service is nothing short of a breathe of fresh air. While single handedly restoring my faith in humanity, Doug, the owner/operator did everything within his power and seemingly more to save my day and rescue my comrades and I. This man runs his day and his company in a way that is sadly rare these days and if you find yourself in a unfortunate predicament, one would be and should consider themselves lucky to have him conscripted to help them out. After being on side of 75 for three hours with a busted tire, this company made my experience a thousand times better. Very friendly, took my where I needed to go. Even went out of his way to take me to a gas station when he saw my car was low on gas and wouldn't accept payment for it. Would recommend to anyone looking for exceptional service

Friday night at 8:40pm I got a flat tire which left me stuck south of I-10 and I-75. Remind you it was dark, cold, rainy, and I was all alone. I called my roadside assistance and was told that Swansons towing was coming, I canceled after a state trooper helped me, not even 10 minutes I had to recall them because the tire lug nuts weren't correct on my spare. This towing company decided to turn back around and still assist me after the cancellation. When Brien arrived he tried to put on my tire but it wouldn't go on. His uncle offered to give me a free new tire but it was located 25 minutes away at their shop. Brien drove 25 minutes there and back to make sure I had a tire that would get me home. When I felt scared I would text his uncle and ge would reply with encouraging words and also emoji's to keep me smiling. Brien arrived with not 1 but 2 tires and both tires wouldn't work because of the lug nuts. At this time it was already 1am and we're both tired. Brien offered to give me a ride anywhere I needed but I just had him take me to the nearest Denny's. When we got to the Denny's he went inside and talked to the workers there and told them my situation and asked if it was okay if I stayed there until the morning. Not only did he make sure I was safe, he actually sat there with me for over an hour and talked to me. He bought me coffee and insisted he buy me something to eat. The NEXT, day Brien took the tire to a shop to get the holes matched, picked me back up from dennys, and also changed my tire. If I can give Brien and his Uncle 10 stars I would. They both provided excellent customer service and I don't know what I would have done if it wasn't for them. They went the extra mile to make sure I was okay and I got home safe. I really want to thank Brien for going ABOVE AND BEYOND for me and my situation. If this isn't EXCELLENT customer service then I don't know what is. It wasn't about money with this company that night it was more of making sure a young woman as myself got home safely. GOD BLESS YOU BRIEN AND YOUR UNCLE you both are amazing and truly genuine.

Was incredibly helpful. Didn t have a way to get spare from truck while towing 30ft Rv and motorcycle and was in dire straits .Went above and beyond to help us Was quick, very reasonable cost and made sure we were able to get back on road. There are not enough wonderful things that can be said about Doug and Swanson's Towing. Being a 'less than younger' female stranded on I-75 from another state, I was totally at his mercy. His kindness and generosity was so over and above, I still can not wrap my mind around it. If you are to ever need a tow while in the Lake Butler/Lake City vicinity, please keep the name Swanson's Towing in mind. TY again Doug.

Doug was great! ...After I blew a motor coming back from Jacksonville FL and in the middle of nowhere, he was there within 40 minutes. ( And I mean in the middle of nowhere). Very professional, great family owned business!

Had Doug come by for a tow and he managed to the the car back on the road. He showed up with some Excedrin for my wife when he came by too. Along with a snack for the kids. He was a blessing and Ray of hope during the most depressing road trip I've ever been on.

He was really helpful. He could have towed my car back to Tallahassee, however he got me help in fixing it. He connected with my case and did a good job. He hates a cheat and to get the best of him, be patient cos he won't rush things for it to fail.
