I had my truck towed to Ray s when my truck overheated. They fix it in less than one day at very fair price. I highly recommend this business. Very honest and not out to take your money. I live in Orange Park and will take my vehicles here whenever possible.

Ray's really helped me out with replacing my Jeep starter. I was in a pinch without a vehicle and they worked on it right away. Very reasonably priced. Thank you Ray's Auto Repair!

Took my car in to Dad's Auto Repair in Gainesville to get my air conditioning fixed, they quoted me $2200. Decided to get a second opinion at Ray's, they fixed it for $1200. Looks like Ray's is my new mechanic.Service: Auto A/C replacementService: Auto A/C replacement

Ray s Auto Repair saved the day today. I went grocery shopping at Hitchcocks, come out to car afterwards to dead car battery. They put my frozen food in their shop freezer and refrig while new battery was being installed. Love them! I can't say thank you enough to the guys at Rays. I broke down in their parking lot, about 90 miles from my destination and a couple hours before they closed. Thankfully they were able to procure an alternator and had me back on the road before closing. Everyone was friendly, the prices were great, and the service was excellent. Thank you again!

***Final note***Rays never called back. Did not even bother going there in person. Some business' are just not worth the effort.***UPDATE***So after the repair of my rear wheel bearing I started to hear a grinding noise that came and went. I was unable to pinpoint location until it got louder. It sounded like a brake grinding on metal. I did not associate with work done at Rays and took to another shop for service. Turns out when Rays reassembled the rear brake pad after repairing the bearing, one pad was installed upside down. This ruined the brake pad and rotor. Called Rays twice with no answer and left two messages with no reply. I am hoping for a return call, but not getting my hopes up.. I will visit in person when I get a chance and update this review. Not impressed with the integrity of a business that won't even call you back so I am retracting my endorsement and won't be using Rays again. Mistakes happen, its how they are handled that make a business stand out. It's unfortunate to have to report this...Below was my original review.I am new to area and� I called to see about getting my car in regarding a rear wheel noise. I was told I could bring in anytime that day or the next.� They reviewed the suspected problem with me before repairing and I agreed to repair. Fixed problem and picked up the next day. They did not try to sell me anything over and above what was needed. Cost was an average of what to expect.� It was a straight forward honest repair. I would definitely use again!

Went there to get an alignment thinking that s why my steering was off. It did not fix the problem and when I left there my whole steering wheel was upside down. Went back and they said, We can t help you until you get two new front tires. Went and got two new front tires, when one wasn t bad at all and there was still life in the other. But replaced them anyways. Took it to the dealership and they said I had a broken axel. So that was a waste of hundreds of dollars.

Great work, and they saved me $1500 the other place wanted me to get $1500 in work before they would give me a alignment on my car that was eatting my tires. He fixed my alignment and didn't try to force anything else on me.

Extremely rude, took the truck in under recommendation on replacing some front end parts that has in turn cost us thousands of dollars in repairs at another shop that they caused, will not return phone calls and have done nothing to make things right, will never recommend this place to anyone
