I brought my Corvette there for a starting issue,, other shops could not fix, kc got the job done. There shop is very clean. Everyone there is top notch in my book. Friendly. Fair. They are honest people. They make you feel welcome. Your not just a number. Thanks KC. I found myself in a predicament when my jeep began serious rocking side to side. I was unable to steer it, or stop the jeep. I took my jeep to K.C.'s Automotive to find out what was up with it. It turns out my jeep had a " DEATH WOBBLE ". It is like it sounds, it can absolutely kill you and anyone else around when it starts. Keith immediately got to work on it. He explained everything that he needed to repair and or replace, prices, and time it would take to get it done. He will try and work around your schedule, and is very reasonable with pricing. It's nice at my age ( 70 ) to know that there is a very honest and knowledgeable mechanic in my hometown, this way I can support our local businesses, and I don't have to try and get 30 or more miles from where I live. Also K C and Keith and others in the garage are just as knowledgeable and experienced as any other high priced garage, in fact I believe that they are better, and one more note, they will spend the time to explain to those who don't understand what the problem is with their vehicle. So kudos for KC'S AUTOMOTIVE. THANK YOU, TERESA

If you have a dramatic diesel and live in Clay,Bradford, or Alachua counties. This is the only place to get work done. Super experienced Duramax Experts. From maintenance to total rebuild. Keith and his team are your only and best choice.

Been friends for years but aside from that this shop lets you know there is still trustworthy, honest, and real good mechanic shops still out there that take pride in their work!! I took my truck in with a broken transmission and they told me that they could fix it. They charged me 1200 dollars for a new transmission kit to fix my problem. When I came and picked it up, it was not fixed right. They took it back and tried to fix it again and it still didn't get fixed right. I called them and he got mad and said, well I can't just keep fixing your truck for free. So I never got my truck fixed, and I actually had to get rid of it. I got beat for 1200 dollars. I wouldn't ever take a vehicle to these people.

I've been using Keith and his Dad for years now on virtually everything from a Lexus LS460, Ford F150, Hummer H2, Lawn tractors, ATV's, Boats (ahem), really anything with a motor. They are VERY reasonable and HONEST! Plus they fixed problems on vehicles that even the DEALER could not figure out! Also both are really nice people! Keith worked on my Chrysler 300 for body repairs. The part of the car he did the body work on looked better than the rest of this 12 year old car. Perfection. Very much appreciated and the work was completed in one business day. Excellent and thanks to everyone at KC's Automotive for such excellent service. Also the Ac was not cooling properly and Keith went the extra mile when he was replacing the evaporator core to also install a new valve. Excellence!!! Thanks so very much!!!

If you need something done this is the guy to go toWhat took us 4 days to try to fix he was able to do an complete in less than 15 mins an had me back on the roadAfter all the local shops turned me down on being able to help over little thingsKeith came to my rescue his shop is the only shop I will use from now onDefinitely a local small business that deserves all the business that comes it's wayThank you again I appreciate it so much

Stay away from this place if you need any kind of major repair. We brought our car in for what seemed to be an alternator problem. We paid for a new alternator, brought car home, immediately had exact same issue. Brought car back in, they re-diagnosed it as needing a new transmission control module. We paid for part and they installed it, we took car home, it ran ok for about a week and we started having the exact same problem with car. Brought it back for a 3RD TIME, we were told it was a faulty alternator, and a frayed wire, so they "claimed" to have fixed issues. Took it home again and the next day we used it, it would barely accelerate , and the car started back with all the other original issues and now car has completely shut down and we will be towing it to another garage to get it properly diagnosed. Total cost was over $1,100. With not having a car for almost a month total, we incurred rental car costs on top of all repair costs. Plus a tow truck to tow the now unusable car.

So very disappointed in this mechanical shop. They have put 3 motors in my late husband's f150, kept it 2 weeks this last time, to make it right they said, picked it up, drove it to approx 60 miles, check engine light is back on. Left message on machine, they never called back. So we have to say enough trying to deal with their shoddy work. Checked with Ford through Murray Ford, they never even registered any of the Ford replacement motors with Ford. Try to give locals business, and this is the kind of poor workmanship that ruins it for all small businesses.

When my motor scooter wouldn't start, I figured any auto shop would be willing and able to take me as their newest customer, so I asked my nice neighbor, Wayne, if we could put it in the back of his pickup and take it to the nearest shop in Keystone Heights (GNS).When we got there, we discovered that not only would they not even look at it, but they pretty much guaranteed that only a motorcycle shop would be willing to take care of the task of troubleshooting and repairing it. So I search the 'Interwebs' and found a motor scooter shop in Starke.Wayne and I headed down 100 to go there, when just outside KH (& Clay County) city (& county) limits, right next to the Keystone Inn buffet, we saw a repair shop that had a motorcycle outside their gates that was for sale. We figured if they sell bikes, they probably repair them, so we pulled in, and sure enough, the owner (of KC Automotive) Keith, said it would be no problem.We saved ourselves a trip to the "big" city of Starke, and we found a really reliablable and honest mechanic. He fixed it pretty quickly and he didn't charge me an arm and a leg. He said that they work on all kinds of vehicles and he really never understood why most auto shops won't take 2 and 3 wheel vehicles, but he said he doesn't mind, because it just brings more business to him.I intend to buy a small pickup truck soon, and I know where I'll be taking that for any issues that come up with it.
