Just wanted to give a Thank You and Shout Out to Ed and his family with Compassionate Mechanics. My husband and I both had issues with our cars (when it rains it pours) and we called Compassionate Mechanics because we needed a mobile service for my husband s car. Ed got back to us right away and scheduled the next day. Ed even brought his father in law along to help look over the car and give his expertise on the vehicle since he has over 40 years working on vehicles and offered another hand to thoroughly examine and get the job done since we had more things to replace than we thought. Ed was very real with us, educated us by bringing us out to look at each step of the repair. He is truly caring and when he found out that I was tight on money and with no vehicle to work, he helped us get the parts to fix my SUV so I would be safe and we weren t stranded. He is good people and we will be calling him anytime we need anything done to both our vehicles.

Ed was very helpful, smart, and got my truck fixed! It is awesome that he is a local mobile mechanic. I would recommend him to anyone who needs work done on their vehicle. I will use Ed on future problems that may come up on any of our vehicles!

Ed has repaired both our vehicles above and beyond expected. Returns calls in a timely manner as well as having your car repaired and returned as promised. He's knowledgeable, reliable and honest. Can't say enough good things about him.

Ed is an honest and compassionate person. I use him to do all of my vehicle repairs and will continue to use him in the future. He is mobile which is great, I don't have to leave the house! I have never had any issues with his work and my car is running great. I appreciate everything he has done to make my mechanic needs convenient. He works weekends which is hard to find here in Keystone, nobody seems to want to work on the weekend. My husband found Edwin on google and suggested we call him due to his great reviews. And I am adding to them now! Edwin came out and changed my oil. He also checked my brakes and will be coming out on Saturday to change them and do my husbands work van. He was very friendly and got right to work! It was very convenient for him to come to my house to do it as I am very busy and going to a dealer would have taken half my day. I really appreciate him and his great work! I want to apologize for my earlier review. We were both heated when I wrote the review but Ed came back and notI only fixed it but helped us get the part that we needed that we couldn t afford. Edwin has gone over and above in servicing my car. The part that needed to be replaced is no longer being made and unavailable from Auto Zone, O'Reilly or the Ford company. Ed called multiple places and finally found one in Ocala - an hour and a half drive from here. He graciously made the drive got the part and is in the way back to install it. He's fair, hard working and lives up to his name. He truly is a compassionate mechanic! Highly recommend!Services: Electrical repair, Wiper blade installation, Auto maintenance

So this guy is like me, hard working and not afraid to get dirty. We have tree service company and had a few issues with our bucket truck and this dude came to the job site worked on it for twos and had the thing working better than ever! Awesome dude for sure. He saved me from canceling the job and loosing about 1200 for that day. So the $100 tip was worth it! Thanks Mr Ed!!

When I called Ed, he was friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He was patient with me as I didn t have the information he requested right away. He was straight up front and gave me a great price for his services. Ed came to my home on a Saturday and performed the service I requested for my vehicle. We had several vehicles that needed repairs in order to be sold at auction. Ed came out on Sunday without an issue. Brakes were done on one, a/c compressor on another, wheel hub assembly on a third, and a door handle replacement. Alll of them completed fast and working perfectly. Allowed us to to get the cars to auction on Monday. Ed is very up beat, polite and knowledgeable. I had them change out my oil pump and timing chain and the left a bunch of bolts loose and got my truck back with the engine light on saying it was a timing issue which they just changed brand new. We have not been able to drive the truck since we got it back from him. I'm having to have another mechanic fix his mistakes. If I would have drove it like that it would have ruined my whole engine. Definitely won't be using him again.Service: Engine repair

My brakes started squeaking on my Cadillac Escalade. I have tried mobile mechanics in the past and had bad experiences. But I just moved to keystone heights (lake country) and I knew no one and I was too far away to a major city and too busy as well. Ed came out (on time 5 mins early) did the brakes and mentioned that the ac wasn t as cool as it should be. He recharged my a/c and checked all of the fluids. Changed the oil and rotated my tires all of this before 10 am. He wasted no time and made sure everything was cleaned up and working perfectly. Needless to say I will be using him again. This is what a real mobile mechanic is. He is Not like these other jack leg fake mechanics that don t even show up or have no clue what they are doing.

My friend worked on my mustang and ultimately screwed it up worse. Ed came out on an emergency (I was stranded). He got the car towed to my house and worked for 4 hours getting it running. 110 degrees out side and he never complained once. So I tipped him an extra 100. This is my first time using a mobile mechanic service. Ed with Compassionate mechanic kept good communication with me. He came to my home on Sunday, worked diligently on fixing my problem, even with the challenges he ran into he persevered and got the job done. He maintained his upfront affordable price. So.. Ed is a pretty nice fella that is good at what he does. Very vigilante in trying to make you happy and feel comfortable in his skills when working on your vehicle. I have used Ed at Compassionate Mechanics a few times on two vehicles. He gives you up-front and honest pricing. He comes to your home and does your repairs so you aren t stranded waiting. Pleasant demeanor and doesn t push repairs on you like most shops.
