Wise automotive was introduced to me through repairs to work vehicles. I am so lucky to have met them because they actually repair vehicles the first time. I ve had nightmare situations where I pay a mechanic for repairs and days later I either have the same problems or new problems arise, with wise auto it s one and done. The experience starts at the phones and front counter with Justin, whom has centuries of experience greets you with speed and accuracy. I recently took my car to wise because I was handing down my vehicle to my oldest daughter and wanted Justin and staff to inspect vehicle for safety and critical repairs. A dishonest mechanic would have had a field day with repairs but Justin and staff only came up with a few items to repair that they have suggested to me from previous visits. Since I held off of these repairs I did create bigger problems I was now ready to perform these repairs to ensure my daughter would have a good working vehicle to drive. The repair cost was pretty high but wise automotive offer third party financing which was convenient for me at this time so I can hand down the vehicle and get tags and title transferred in time to re-apply my tags to new vehicle. Wise auto made all necessary repairs within that day and my daughter was happy to pick up the vehicle from Wise s. Justin has always gone above and beyond to help to the best of his abilities. Judy and Barry are down to earth people and take care of their staff and it shows! All mechanics and managers are always courteous and honest! Thank you to everyone at wise auto for making car repairs quick and easy and now affordable with payment options! Wise is like a fine wine that gets better with age!!

Justin was very helpful when I called to get a quote and very polite & professional. He said he could get me in as soon as I got there & quote was reasonable. It was necessary for me to wait there until my car was finished, listening to how they treated other customers and employees, in person and on the phone, was a great experience. Everyone seemed happy to be there & worked together extremely well. They know their business! I will definitely go back for future repairs.

Justin and Luis are awesome! They are very helpful and patient in explaining any concerns with my vehicle and offering advice, but don t try to sell me repairs I don t need. Wise s also regularly offers great coupons in the Mint Magazine.

I was recommended to Wise Automotive by a good friend. And I am so happy that I chose them. From the moment I walked through the door they, they were pleasant to talk too about my concerns and issues. And had the problem figured out within a short time. I picked my Dodge Durango up the very next day.They not only fixed my car, they changed my oil and air my tires up. They went above and beyond.I can t say enough about Justin and Barry. They were that great! When I picked up my vehicle some more of the behind the scenes mechanics were in the lobby and they were all very pleasant to talk to as well. I will bring my vehicles here from now on for anything! Very trustworthy and affordable! Thank you guys again!

I had a misfire issue while driving my Infinity Q50 S. I thought it was a few ignition coils but they replaced my spark plugs which cost less and seems to have solved the problem! I mostly talked to Justin, who has been more than accommodating- I have the baby with me while there and this makes my life easier. Not to mention how clean it is inside, makes me comfortable since baby is all over the place since walking. I ve been in twice now, since I bought this car and needed a new mechanic. I was referred by a friend and I couldn t be happier with the service on my car or the way I ve been treated. They stand behind their work and honor the warranty, happily. I ve now met a few of the gentlemen up there. From Matthew up front, to actually hearing from the mechanic himself, I have never been more confident and informed with the services being done for me. And as a lady, feeling like they make sure I understand what is getting done (the cost) and even what doesn t need to be done yet, I don t leave questioning if I was taken advantage of. I tell my spouse more details about my experience today and he agrees, I was well taken care of as was my car!!Good mechanics are hard to find anymore. I went in to get my battery replaced. while I was there they put my car on the left, and were able to identify a serious issue with my tires. Had they not done the due diligence and them do a checkup on everything, I never would have realized that I had such a problem. They did an amazing job, and I will definitely be back if I ever have any other car problems.I was in and out the same day, and the prices were very reasonable. Justin is a wonderful salesperson to work with. These guys literally saved my life.

I've always been skeptical of taking my vehicle somewhere because I never know if they have good craftsmanship or take pride in their work I do heating and air conditioning for a living so I take pride in my work this by far has been the worst experience took my Toyota 4Runner up there to get the head cover gaskets replaced the motor was doing the same thing when I took it there it's still leaking oil and they put a crack in the top of my motor and told me they can't do anything for me highly recommend never taking your vehicle there because of the poor craftsmanship and rookie mistakes they could have at least told me they did it and fixed it they never even told me I found it myself. Now I have to go to court and I have the to put a new motor in my truck I've had this for 14 years never leaked until I took it here thanks guys the manager also has a poor attitude and the owner they do not deserve to be in business they didn't even offer to help me out at all

I took my car to Wise s a few months ago because my car engine stopped working. I dropped it off at the end of their workday and they were very patient with me to fill out the paperwork. They gave me a call the next day saying that they suspected something internally in the engine was wrong and noticed my car type and engine may qualify for a warranty under the dealership. Without them letting me know that, I would not have been able to get my engine replaced under warranty. They were reasonably priced for the assessment! I will return when I need further help with any of my cars!

It's never fun to pay for car maintenance or repairs, but it's great having somewhere you can trust to do quality work at fair prices. They are always honest and upfront. Staff is friendly and get work done quick and efficiently.I recently went in for some routine maintenance and they could have balanced and rotated my tires like I requested but they didn't need it and since they need to be replaced in the coming months, they recommended waiting and saving the money.

My vehicle needed an oil change. I found that it was done in a timely manner and ready for me ,when I was able to retrieve it. Cost was very fine, pleased to have found them.

This is my absolute favorite place to go to have ANYTHING VEHICLE RELATED done! First off customer service is superb! I usually deal with Justin when I come into the shop but anyone will leave you satisfied with the customer service you receive. They are very informative, newly renovated and just a overall pleasant experience to visit! I've never needed to return twice, their speed of time is always reasonable and their prices are fair! They care about people first! I have been coming to them for almost 2 years. I highly recommend them any and all services!

I had sustained damage underneath my vehicle after driving unintentionally over parking space slabs and had sought repairs in this area. The service people at Wise were able to resolve the problem in a cost effective manner without over pricing the repair costs. For this reason, and for prior efficient oil change experiences at this location that I highly recommend this facility for auto service maintenance and repair needs.Services: Body & Trim, Oil change

These are genuinely good people. Steve was running the front office. What a great guy. The mechanics are very professional. The entire shop is ran professionally. We are out of town Photographers and photographing a wedding and we re distraught about our vehicle shutting off. They are fast, professional and reasonable. Had our car diagnosed and repaired in no time I asked other people around me who were regulars what they thought and they verified what I was already thinking. So lucky to have found this place first. Top notch!!!

Wises Automotive has completely out done them selves and exceeded any expectations that I have had as far as a mechanic is concerned. They have been very knowledgeable and expressed that knowledge to me as well and are always keeping me up-to-date with any new fines or information that is needed. Steve and Brittany in the front office are very courteous kind and welcoming and they make you feel like family. The owner called me personally when he found out that I was bringing my 89 Corvette to them To have engine work done and he assured me that I had come to the right place. They have truly made this experience one that I will definitely remember and pass on to all who need work done. I definitely recommend them and will continue to use them for all of my mechanical needs.

PLEASE READ: so I would go here all the time and it was a very well run place but the last time me and my bf took our car there, someone took my medical marijuana pen. I have never misplaced it or lost it or anything of that nature because I really need it! I need it to prevent me from having seizures and I called about this theft issue and they had a good reply to it at first but after a few days of saying that it was probably still in my car (which it most definitely wasn t) and they ll look for it at their shop in case their new mechanic actually stole it or forgot to put it back in (which is the truth) they stopped contacting me and stopped returning my phone calls. Of course the mechanic is going to deny taking it but he took out the medicine and maybe put it on the side and forgot to put it back but it was very unprofessional to say they ll keep a look out and keep in touch and just stop.If you take your car here to be fixed it will be fixed greatly but whatever you do don t leave something valuable in your car. I m never going back there.

Great prices on fixing your car no scamming or conning you out of your hard earned money. Upfront you know what is going on with your car after first diagnosis no gimmicks. Plus cheap oil changes. Many cars and SUVs are 9.99

This business had phenomenal customer service and they also have the best mechanics Jacksonville has to offer. They offer a $9.99 synthetic blend oil change with the coupon from the money pages or online. They make it very easy to get in and out by offering appointments as well.

We have been using Wise auto for over a decade and are always pleased by the service and quality of work. The manager Steve and Justin at the front desk go the extra mile to be sure we are satisfied. Highly recommend!

I gave this business over $5000 -closer to $6000 of business repairing my 1997 Tioga Montara RV. I trusted them b/c they were referred to me by my RV mobile mechanic. When my RV had to sit in their lot for two nights over a weekend, THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER WAS STOLEN, and OTHER PARTS OF THE RV WERE DAMAGED INCLUDING A FANTASTIC FAN. Wise automotive made out a police report while also charging ME about $500 including labor, to REPLACE MY CATALYTIC CONVERTER. About 2 years later, my RV mechanic told me that one of their long term employees had been FIRED for STEALING CATALYTIC CONVERTERS FROM VEHICLES ON THEIR OWN LOT. I was never reimbursed for this. Not for the Catalytic Converter and not for the other damages which I had to separately pay to be fixed. I would NEVER go back to this place and in reality, I should sue them. I just don't need the hassle that will involve at this point.

My first Google review, inspired by this outstanding business. I ordinarily dread working with automotive service/repair centers, as I expect everything to be more expensive than it should and for people to try their best to take advantage of each and every customer. Not at Wise's. Excellent prices, exceptional service. The best-kept secret in automotive service in Jacksonville.

Been doing business with these folks for a couple of years or so, mostly just oil changes and tire rotations, minor stuff, with no issues or complaints. Couple of weeks ago I had them check out and diagnose a problem and I was given an estimate for to replace the part. Long story short, I had to return the car after initial repair because the same problem started happening again. Was told further repair would be necessary. A week later I had the car back and problem fixed. Nearly $1500 spent for repair. Next day, I noticed some damage to the hood and was now missing the windshield washer reservoir cap. I immediately called Barry about this. He wanted to see it for himself. A week later, I took the car to him. He just so happened to have a photo taken of the car while in the shop which he claims is proof positive the damage did not occur while they had the car. That is total bunk and doesn't prove anything. As for the cap, they claimed it was missing already. I now know that these people have no integrity and will not own up to damage caused by their mechanics. So I suggest you take photos of every inch of your vehicle before allowing them to work on it. I gave 2 stars because they have the best price in town for synthetic blend oil change. Woo - hoo...

Mechanics like this one are worth their weight in GOLD. I have moved around a lot with the military, and have always tried to find those special places where customer service, knowledge and fair pricing merged. As all reading this know, this is beyond difficult to find. Well, this is the place.Steve has helped me with several issues regarding my 2013 F150. I have had coolant system work, brake work, and oil changes with Wise Automotive and each time it has been a pleasure. Always offered options with incredible prices.Starting next oil change, we are going to be bringing my wife s Mini Cooper S to see Steve et. al. at this great shop.I m telling you folks, this is your neighborhood mechanic that you always need in your back pocket.Call and ask for my man Steve.

I took my truck in for front brake grinding pulling hard to the right and they said: it needs front rotors, calibers and pads (and the cost was over $700) to fix the problem. They were adamant this would take care of the issues and I agreed to the recommended repairs. I had to bring in back because it jerked to the right when breaking (dangerously worse under panic breaking) and they said they misdiagnosed the problem and said it now needs brake hoses at a cost of $250 (parts only). After thinking about it.... I felt it wasn't fair to me for a mis diagnoses and that they should step up and do the right thing. The owner decided to explain to me it's like going to the doctor for a cold and if you have to go back because your not getting better you still have to pay the bill. After further discussion I realized he would argue the case to no end. I decided to pay the bill and never take my (fleet) of trucks in to them for service again. At the end of the day, I could've taken it to the dealer for less cost and probably less aggravation. I always endorse small businesses to encourage local economic growth but buyers beware of this one.

I have been taking my car for years to Garbor Auto Mall...mainly due to the fact my car was under warranty, which it is not anymore. However, Wise will definitely now be my car repair facility. Not only were they very friendly and fast but saved me well over $400 for the same work Garbor was charging me for! They also run great specials on Oil changes...like $9.99. They are the bomb diggity! :)Thank you Wise! Autumn
