I shouldn't expect much from Walmart mechanics so I blame myself for not taking my own wheels off of my vehicle before having the tires changed. No one in the automotive dept can use a torque wrench properly. They max torque your lug nuts down with a gun that has only 1 setting! Max! The mechanics do not use the torque wrench to torque the lug nuts down. I watched the mechanic use the impact wrench on my car and then when he used the torque wrench it just clicks, no turns at all.Considering his gun is probably 275ft lbs I'm sure my Honda is way over torqued for the factory rating of 90ft lbs. And I just installed my hubs and bearings myself!The cashier woman for the mechanic shop was nice enough and even realized how the mechanics are over tightening the lug nuts. She let me go out and speak with them before leaving.

Was able to get some one on the phone to make an appt. But had to wait several days for the appt. Before I could make it to my appt, ended up having to take it somewhere else & had to be towed. I tried calling back repeatedly to tell them I needed to cancel my appt because my situation got worse & couldn't wait. No matter what time I called to let them to to cancel, no one EVER picked up the phone. I really tried. But guess they figured I was a no show. But it was their fault for not answering.

Had a seriously flat tire brought in on a wrecker today. The hole in the tire was so large that it wouldn t keep air long enough to fill it without holding a finger over the hole. That is exactly what one of the service technicians did. While respecting others place in line, the technicians quickly brought my vehicle up on a lift as not to damage the rim and patched the hole later in the day. Great job and thanks so much for caring!

This is for Auto Center not all of Walmart.Went here to get oil changed back in 07/24/2023 I was told that my car "had a big oil leak and they couldn't look at the car." They were backed up for 2 hours.I had a suspicion that the mechanic was lying, I saw no evidence of oil leaking and even looked under the car and found nothing of the sort. Decided to take it to the Walmart on Collins Rd. My suspicions were correct. This auto center on 103rd LIED.I went at 9 am on Collins rd and just like 103rd st that there was a 2 hour wait as they were backed up in order to get my car's oil done, and when they texted me to pick up my vehicle, I even asked the personnel if they found any issue and they informed me they found nothing at all!DON'T DO AUTO CARE BUSINESS ON 103RD ST! Go to Collins rd Walmart as they're more transparent!I feel like reporting this to the Wal-Mart's head manager on 103rd st! This is not right! Very disappointed.Edit: Amazing. I'm seeing other people who had similar situations. Thank you all who left reviews! I hope my review also helps others avoid the frustration of dealing with crooked mechanics who should be FIRED. 100% never coming here again!!!

Daryl and Amber saved my whole week I really couldn't possibly give enough praise!I got a flat on the highway, had to wait over an hour in the heat for AAA with a toddler, then finally get to Walmart and end up having some inventory issues.So Daryl calls the manager Amber up to help me and they get it handled pretty quickly. You could really tell that he genuinely cared and wanted to help out.I've been to a few Walmart Auto Centers and never really have an awful time but this time stood out in a good way. Definitely going to keep using this one whenever possible!

Disappointed my tire couldn t be installed. Luckily there was a dealer down the road able to complete the installation. Adding an oil change to a tire installation should be an option without canceling my entire appointment.

An unnecessary 1.5 wait due to Bob. Apparently Francisco is the new manager, whatever the heck he wants to call call himself. The mechanic gave me an attitude about my truck being too hot for an oil change. However on other occasions they have changed my oil within minutes of me getting there. Now all of a sudden the "mechanic" Bob says he can't. Francisco was determined to argue with me about this so called protocol that's supposedly in place all along when you can go to other places that change it without your vehicle sitting for hours. Bob attitude was horrible. They manner in which he spoke to me was ridiculous. The fact that Francisco and a lady manager was basically useless in helping even though they were the management. Refusing to admit the mechanic was out of order. Then I was able to speak with others that was in the auto service that said they never heard of this so called protocol and because of his rudeness and unwilling to do his job Bob caused me to have to wait an extra 1.5 hours.Fast forward to June 2 same manager. The technician told him my hood wouldn't stay up on my truck. So after waiting another 2 hrs still no oil change. Just for me to go out in the parking lot and open my hood and the manager to say oh you're right it does stay up and take it back for the oil change. Another extra 45 min wait smh

Auto motor was very unprofessional. I showed cashier a photo and tire size I needed. She said we got it. Didn't know until talking to another customer that the put wrong tires on my car. Then the still wanted me to pay to put old tires back on my car until the order the correct tire. Asked for manager. She called me a liar and said I didn't see we ant the tires I showed a picture of. I told her if I knew I won't get that kind of treatment I could have went to the dealer. She told me to cancel my order for my tires and go to the dealer. When I asked to speak to her supervisor she told me she was supervisor over the whole Walmart. When I call the corporate office to complain on her they told me she was not the manager of the whole Walmart but she was a manager. I was supposed to get my tires on Thursday they never called me so I went in Friday after work. They had them then and they put them on. And I still had an issue with the car and I told him but the guy was so rude. I will never go back to that Walmart in automotive again and I have been going there for years. All I say when you go to Walmart look at everything they do very closely and ask a million one questions.

Brought my 09 vehicle in today at 1:30, 02/02/2022. Mechanic, manager and cashier on duty were awesome. Receipt said Daryl. The lady manager was extremely nice. I forgot I had damaged my bumper on a curb and they had even attached it back and fixed it. Will definitely go back next time I need repairs, I hope I get the same people.Service: Battery

Worst experience! Went to get new tires, they texted me the job was complete, paid for it & drove off just to realize they never replaced a single tire. Had to return, wait a long time just to get refunded. Was later told, they couldn't do it due to walmart policy. Which is fine but they don't communicate with three front staff & system popped up showing they completed a job they actually never did. After the whole half of my day gone, i had to then spend more time (2 & a half more hours) & even more money somewhere else. Should really just get their system fixed so this doesn't happen to more ppl. And don't get me started on trying to attempt to call them, no one answers the phones, it's ridiculous.

I was very dissatisfied with the service. I told the lady what I wanted and it seem like she didn't know what she was doing. There were multiple girls there and I don't discriminate but what I will say is if you work in the auto center know what you are doing. These ladies did not know what they were doing. I told her to tell them to put the best tires upfront when rotated and she didn''t. Then I told her to top off the liquids she didn't know what I meant and didn't charge it. Customer service was great and done in a timely manner. But they left the old oil filter in my car after I went to get it changed, luckily I went to a real auto shop where it was caught. Old oil was leaking into the bottom of my car. Which could of messed up my engine, oil pan, or even cause severe damage.

Sakina and the Manager Amber both in the service department provided excellent customer service. I brought my vehicle for service the technician messed up. Amber went above and beyond to fix the mistake. Thank you Amber and Sakina you guys ROCK!!!!!!!

It was good. They did my oil and filter in a pretty timely manner. About 1-2 hours. The only thing was the long line and very long wait to pay out. But the employees were really nice and I got everything I needed done so I'm pretty happy.Thanks.

The Tire technicians, was not professional, there was a tall young white man with a beard who seem to be very knowledgeable and went out to my car with me to check the condition of my tires he was nice, also the black woman at the counter short Stout was very very nice and tried to do the best she could she look like she was overworked, and underpaid shame on you Walmart! but it was obvious you need some more clerks at the front desk as she was trying to do her best with all the customers that she had. I didn't get a very good impression my first time at your Center maybe I'll try again at a later date. since I do shop in Walmart.

They are the worst. They deserve no stars, but it wouldn t let me select that. They wait to tell me that they didn t have my oil filter, so they couldn t do the oil change after rotating my tires. So I had to pay for that. That s what you get when you take your car to the hood/ghetto to get worked on. Why am I not surprised. I don t recommend this place to anyone.

Customer Service was very horrible on July 7th about 10:40 am. As I was waiting for an oil change, I picked up ah few items. Bad bodied broad didn't want to ring up my items I had, stating she could only ring up 10 items.Ringing up items in the auto care center has never been a problem. There was no line and there was no customers waiting at the auto care center when I was attempting to pay for my items and pay for my oil change.There was no sign stating ONLY 10 items could be rung up at the auto care center.Bad bodied customer service rep would not allow me to pay for 10 items and pay for the other items on another ticket, since she claim she could not ring up more than 10 items.Bad bodied customer service rep was just a unprofessional, miserable, lazy human... That was probably hungry.

I only gave 2 stars because I wanted to be fair to the clerks that registered my car into the system and the one that check me out. They were very kind, helpful and professional, but the mechanic/technician that serviced my car (not sure if I should even call her a mechanic) was polar opposite. She managed to dramatically tell me in front of a room full of customers how my car had all sorts of major leaks and was profusely leaking oil and transmission fluid (keep in mind I paid $52.25 for an oil change that she completed, but it's leaking ). I told her that those observations were odd because I had just had an recent diagnostic check and repairs on my car (Feb '22) and non of those problems showed up. Also, if it was draining as bad as she deceived it I would have noticed some sort of staining on my driveway at some point. Of course I took it to my mechanic and he was just as baffled as me because he couldn't find any signs of current leaks. Today's debacle reminded me of exactly why I stopped getting oil changes at w almart yrs ago and I shouldn't just waited it out at firestone earlier today.Technician comments: oil leak pts, drain plug leak pts, oil filter leak pts, transmission leak pts washer reservoir leaks...Service: Oil change

Me and my family used to use their service all the time, until they got new staff! I went to get four new tires end up with two brand new tires and too old tires that they insist they changed! I stood in line for an hour just so I can tell them they forgot to change two more tires. When it was my turn to get service they were trying to tell me to come back the next day to receive tires that I've already paid for! I was there for a total of four and a half hours from start to finish and only received my two tires! I demanded the manager to fix this problem I was not going anywhere until I got all four new tires that I paid for! Which he did indeed resolve the problem. That was a bad communication mishap from what he told me between him and his employees. On another hand my brother took his Ford Explorer in for an oil change they did not change his oil! But he was fully charged for service! He has an expedition which has sensors that tells you when it needs to be changed. The sensor was on when he took it there and the sensor was still on when he came to pick it up. There was a huge argument between my brother and an employee about the service. Nothing got resolved in that situation! It was blamed on a mechanic that walked out that day which they still should have made right. I personally do not recommend taking your vehicle in to this location for any kind of service.

If I could give no stars I would. I ordered tires online and showed up at 7am to have them installed. They quoted me an hour and a half wait. My vehicle wasn t brought in until 11:30 and wasn t finished until after 12. Whoever was in my vehicle stole my phone charger but I wish that s all they did. They messed with something in my engine and my truck seized up and cut off when I was on my way to work. I had to have it towed to a different shop and it will be looked at tomorrow. My truck was running perfect before I took it there. They are unprofessional, dishonest, unethical and I will NEVER return there for service. I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau as well.

After waiting for an hour they told me they couldn't i install because it wasn't the standard size for the vehicle. This has not been an issue at any other tire store I've shopped at.

While I understand why they wouldn't change my tire my problem is I waited for nearly an hour and a half to be told I had to buy 2 tires or they wouldn't change the tire at all. I believe they could have let me know that from the start. I did not know I had 2 different size tires on the front and was only prepared to pay for one.

Helping a friend, I called this main store they put me through to tire center, lady answered ph but put me on hold and just never came back on phone. After 15 minutes or so of holding, I hung up, and re-dialed Main store back, then the Customer Service Dept never answered their phone.So my friend decided to go to the Tire Center there in person and they waited and waited but no one ever came to help them at the desk or even cared to ask my friend what they were needing that day. My friend gave up and finally left and purchased tires elsewhere. Very poor customer service in main store and tire service center, apparently short handed and or understaffed in this store, two days in row, no service.

I drove waaaaay over here for a mf tire they don t answer the phone and I get here they re not taking service anymore bad customer service! This why I shop at target Walmart is starting to get ghetto and unprofessional

Wanted to get my tire changed today 12/17/2022 @ 4:17 only to be told they can t change my tire due to not having techs available. Sad Walmart needs to do better such a disservice and disappointment.

I don't suggest this location when buying batteries. When I told the kid Jacob what size battery I needed he sold me the wrong one. Which I told him would not fit and was the wrong one.So I took it home and tried to switch out the batteries and low and behold I was right so my husband took out the old one and we loaded up both batteries and took them back. And he argued with me yet again saying it says in the book. I told him the book was wrong. I looked it up in his book and showed him where it said the one I told him in the first place. And it took about 45 minutes to exchange the battery for the right one. Had I just put in the one he had sold me in the first place I could have damaged my cars computer system. Glad as hell my dad taught me long ago about cars. So I don't just blindly accept what I am being told when it comes to repairs and repair shops. Just because I am a woman doesn't mean I don't know anything!!!

My experience usually be awesome but this morning I guess the tech didn't feel like balancing or rotating my Tires he told me the Tires were worn to bad to balance are rotate all that tread still on my Tires the still looks practical New wow wow dissatisfied with the service I received this morning
