I'm not from the area, so I call to verify cost of an oil change and availability to get it done. I dropped off my vehicle and asked about how long. I was handed a paper with a number on it and told that they would text me when they started working on it and text me again when it was done. I never got a text at all, so after an hour I went back to see if they had started on it yet. Imagine my surprise when I saw that it was parked in a different spot! I rechecked my phone, but no text messages. When I went to pay the bill, it was nearly an extra $20.00 from what I had been quoted! When I inquired about the difference, I was told that most of it was because they didn't stock the filter for it and had to get one off of their shelf!?!? I wonder how many Chrysler products with the standard V6 engine are in the Jacksonville area ?? I paid the bill, but it's the last time I'll put up with the incompetence and lies at Walmart!!!

I was waiting over three and a half hours just to change the oil. Matt is very rude (I think he doesn't like Latin people) But the rudest treatment was his manager Nakalia. I asked for a discount for the long wait and what I received was an aggressive attitude and many insults. He definitely doesn't like Latinos. I will not come back

I would give 0 stars if I could! This Walmart tire center has always giving me problems. The first time I went in there last year to get a tire they told my husband and I to come in at a certain time which we did but then when we came in they said that we were late and gave us serious attitude and not only that they put the wrong tire on our car! I called and scheduled an appointment at the beginning of this week to get new tires put on the front of the car (only because they are the cheapest people in town) but later called that day to reschedule it for today at 2. My husband got a confirmation text saying the appointment was scheduled for 3? so I called them today to clarify what time we should come in and they said I m not even on the schedule! So now our tires are about to go out and we have no appointment and this is the only day this week that my husband can go get tires! I am fed up with the customer service I receive in person and over the phone every time I go in there. Whoever is manager needs to do some serious adjustments because this is ridiculous!Service: Tires

I have mixed feelings about my experience at this location. I went in to have my TPMS sensor replaced and decided to also have my oil changed and a tired checked. I was there for for 4 hours. After leaving I noticed my car sounded funny. 2 days later the tire they checked and advised was fine went from 35 psi to 25b psi. On my way to work, I decided to check my oil. THEY NEVER PUT MY DIP STICK BACK! The Manager asked me to come back immediately and I did. There was actually a nail in my tire so they did not check it initially and they put a random dipstick in back my car on that visit. I ended up coming back a 3rd time because my tire sensor light kept flashing. When trying to explain I was told that it's just the weather and it may need air. I had to go to another service center that checked my sensors and reset the TPMS System. I will not be a returning customer. I do appreciate the Manager Eric and the Branden at the register for being helpful. They tried their best. The pit crew should be monitored heavily though.

DO NOT get your oil change from this location even if you have your own supplies to change your oil or the location is convenient. This was the worst customer service and experience I ever received at a Walmart location. I took my car in for a oil change just to leave with my car smoking, do not go above 25 miles per hour, and oil throughout the engine of my car. I brought my car back for them to fix the issue. They told me nothing could be fixed and I would have to file a claim through their website as if I brought my car off one of their shelves. I just got my car and it's not even a year old.Service: Oil change

I came there with a tire that was very low pulled right up, and even though the employee was busy, he put air in my tire and checked the rest of them. That was thoughtful. I appreciated that.

Just told not doing oil changes for an entire month. You'd think that there'd be a sign put up, clearly showing that somewhere yet, they still had oil changes posted on those nice price lists tv displays. It's like 70% of the service requests. Just a hunch, I'm willing to bet that they will conveniently start back doing them just after Christmas because lord knows it's the holidays and the busiest time of the year so that means more work. Told to go to lem Turner Walmart but they're probably doing the same thing. It's just the north jax way: poor, lazy, ghetto customer service. Two stars because other times I haven't had this level of poor customer service here before.

The manager and staff went above and beyond to help me in meeting the needs of my car. I wish I remembered the name of the manager, but he had a scruffy beard and round glasses helped me figure out the best next steps for my vehicle!

NEVER AGAIN! Do not go to this location. My husband took my van today and it was very disgusting how they treated my van. The person that changed my oil had grease all over their shoes and instead of putting the floorboard paper down they just wiped their greasy shoes all on my carpet. I stood in line 30 minutes waiting to pay and the cashier s response was I ain t but one person did I mention there was only one person in front of me. Then when she gave me my receipt she handed me the register receipt and the work order separate and said I ain t got no staples . But this is Walmart??? Let me say it one more time NEVER AGAIN and if you respect your vehicle and your time do not use Walmart Auto Center at River City. If I could I would give them 5 negative stars!! Terrible experience!Service: Oil change

Arrived 1st in line 6:45am , waited for staff. they arrived around 7:15am . Spoke to staff about replacing 2 tires. Staff stated that they had them a write everything up. Did shopping while I wait. Got back at 8:15 to find out from staff that they only had 1 tire and that I would have pay for a more expensive tire. I asked why didn't any one tell that earlier with no answer. Staff said she could only give me 10% off for my inconvenience. I agreed. Now it about 8:45. I asked staff to make sure they replace tires on the front. But put rotate the best in the back to the front. Now she said she have to charge me more for rotation and it doesn't make a different if the good tires are on the front or not. I just said forget about it ! I'll rotate them myself. Now it's 9:15 and the work hasn't even been started.(THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! 26 YR Navy Vet. What a country. This is where we are now.)

If I could give this place a zero, I would. My husband purchased 4 new tires on 13JAN21 and we picked up the vehicle at 115pm. The brand new tire on the front drivers side blew the next morning before 7am on my way to base. Hadn t had the tires for a FULL 24 hours. I get off work early to handle the matter and get charged in addition to the $428 spent on the 13th, $25 for tire balancing and tire hazard insurance. I shouldn t have had to pay ONE cent especially seeing that the tire that blew wasn t a good tire and it hadn t even been one day. Needless to say, I will not use this location in the future. I would ve been better off going to the dealership.

Don't even waste your time trying to call and speak to someone. They won't answer. Their prices are cheaper than most competitors but the lack of professionalism and quality don't even it out. Spend the extra money and go someplace that will take pride in working on your vehicle.

Had a flat in I95. We made it to the Auto Center Walmart. They refused to fix it even though the charge for fixing a flat is clearly marked on their price list. I am sitting and waiting for them to replace the tire, watching them as they mosey along slow as syrup. Half the employees could work here if they would just work.

Waited for over 3.5 hours. Apparently they forgot all about our car. Other customers told us we came in before them for same service. Spoke with manager Tim who denied this and our time of arrival. Will never be going back. Don t waste your money here, go to professionals.

The experience was terrible at the River City Location.. The website and sign on the door says they open at 7am.. I arrived at 7am, door was locked no one in site.. Sat there until 7:50am when the first person shows up.. 8:00am the manager and a worker walks in.. Does not speak.. I asked what time do they begin servicing.. The worker says with a smile on his face "9:00 oclock.." I said "Well the the sign says 7.. How do yall start at 9?" He says "Oh you can shop at 7 but we start at 9.." I left.. That was the experience.. The manager didn't even speak..

Do not, I repeat, do not bother going here, even for a oil change! I went in and I could already tell how stingy Walmart was being with only having two mechanics on duty. Two. We went shopping then waited. And waited. And waited. No one approached us for 2 hours. Meanwhile, they had stripped the drain plug while trying to force it back in and it took them 2 hours to even notify. This isn t even the worst part. After all this the possibly dumbest person I have ever met, a supposed assistant manager named McKalya (who ever hired her for a supervisor role should be fired) was trying to tell me that the drain plug was still in but we couldn t drive it away because there s no oil in it lmao which then begs the question, how would you get all the oil out, seriously, this was an argument. She was trying to say how she wasn t going to cover the repair costs being rude the whole time until we talked to mechanics who clarified on her stupidity. After this she agreed that the damages would be fixed, I would pay for it but then be reimbursed, while they d pay for the towing on the spot. Then her real magic started. All I was asking for was, on a piece a paper, was what she had guaranteed me verbally. She said she had nothing to give me and couldn t do that. Your not listening to me sir... if you let me finish I heard her with all her attitiude say this 10 times to me, after letting her finish before I patiently explained what I was trying to accomplish. This ended with her again raising her voice, which led to me raising my voice (I honestly don t know the last time I ve raised my voice at someone, it s been years). Meanwhile, I m reading the piece of paper and there s a little annotation on it that says the exact words I was looking for. I read out loud to her and she goes that s what I ve been telling you and she stormed off. No McKayla that is not what you had been saying. This is my final straw with this company if this is who they think should be a manager then they won t be receiving my business. This was honestly worse than the 5 hour total ordeal that ended up happening for an oil change.Quick sidenote: the only person with any sense and great customer service and who should be the one getting the promotions is the lady that was behind the counter in automotive. I can t rembember her name so I ll discribe her as a middle aged woman of Indian decent and on my piece of paper it identifies her as serv wrtr greeter SWEIA 4617. It is prettying faint so a letter might be off. I know she works 11-8. Promote her. Seriously. With all the idiots you have walking around this is the only one with any smarts. Not that I ll be coming back, however.

I usually go to the one on Beach Blvd to get my oil changed but I moved so this one is the closest. Went there this evening and was apprehensive about the atmosphere and the shady looking characters working in the garage. I went on ahead and let them do it. When I got my car back I noticed they didn't wipe my windows or vacuum my carpet which is part of the oil change. When I bought this to the attention of the technician he said he was just about to do it BUT mind you he already bought the keys to the front and gave it to the cashier for checkout. So now I'm wondering if I even got my oil changed. I think I'm going to learn how to change my own damn oil. Then I'll have no doubts!

I wish I could give no stars. I got here at 6:55 and waited for them to unlock the door until 7:15. I was second in line for an oil change. I ve currently been here for going on 3 hours and they still aren t done. Multiple people have gotten here after me and I have watched most turned away for a made up oil leak after waiting 2 hours for service. PLEASE don t waste your time here.

This is my first time in Florida. I went with my dad, my mom, and I that I have sixteen years to get groceries for tomorrow. My dad, picked a wine for himself, and my mom payed her stuff first, and then my dad. The staff asked all of us for our ID when clearly my dad was paying HIS STUFF only. We had a really bad time over there, the policy clearly is not working out how it should do.

Hours of operation state they are open at 7am till 7pm. Its 7:20am the doors are still locked. There are 3 employees just standing around looking doing nothing. This store needs a new management team to come in wipe out the ones that are running this store
