Was in a jam and needed car fixed quickly but didn't have a big budget,like us all. Called a few shops... some didn't answer,some said atleast a week out,some said if on a budget we aren't your shop and well we all know how the dealership can be. Paul and Harry at Viking got me taken care of and even went above and beyond when needing 2 cars back home and only 1 driver. Thank you again for being reasonable,respectful and getting my car fixed quickly and professionally. Looks like I found my new locally owned mechanic shop. Thanks again guys!

I had an A/C problem on my '18 Accord and was able to take it to them without an appointment and get it back the next day. The service desk man was quite nice and a little quirky but had a great attitude which I really appreciated. The work they did was affordable considering what the dealership was trying to do to me and my air is back to being super cool for this summer that'll hit us soon. Thank you so much!

My Town and Country rear A/C was leaking coolant. After being stunned by the dealer's estimate I brought it to Viking. Harry and staff were very friendly and helpful. They repaired it quickly and at 1/3 the dealer's service department estimate. You can trust them for a fair price and excellent work as well as hospitality!

I had a terrible experience at this mechanic shop. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I took my vehicle in on 2/29 for the ac to be repaired upon picking my vehicle up on 3/1 after being told they would call me once they have finished repairing the vehicle which they did not I had to reach out at 2pm to check the status of my vehicle and the receptionist advised the car was ready. Being that they are closed on weekends, I had to wait to take my car back on 3/4. I explained to the receptionist that my AC wasn t fixed and I inquired what they did because they advised they would give a warranty upon picking the car up on 3/1. The receptionist was unclear on what they did to repair and got the owner to come and explain the service they provided. He said they put dye on part and discovered it needed more freon, he said he can take another look at the vehicle. After questioning what the warranty he was unclear in his explanation. Proceeds to advise they will charge me another diagnostic fee and he would only waive that if they do the same work they did, which when I challenged why would I pay a second diagnostic fee for when the problem wasn t corrected. The owner stated again he would only waive the $130 plus fee if they did the exact same work last time, which didn t make any sense as that didn t resolve the problem for the AC. The owner didn t offer any resolution but pay him more money after investing over $700 for the problem not be corrected. The owner didn t offer any solution outside of paying him more for him to only guarantee he would potentially find the solution but I would definitely have to pay him more money regardless of if they can fix the AC or not. I was extremely disappointed with that option from the owner. Ultimately I took my car to the dealership. I would not recommend this place to anyone. STAY AWAY FROM HERE!

Negative 5 stars. They "fixed" an A/C system 5-6 different times over a 8 month period and charged well over $2000. The first time they "fixed" it, I was back at the shop before I was 2 miles away, because it wasn't fixed. We returned 4 times on their first "fix". Continual problems since then. They claim their "work" was/is warrantied 12mos/12,000miles...then charge you diagnostic fees when you return with freon spewing from the system. Three adult men in our firm witnessed the A/C failure, but their conclusion on paper was that nothing was wrong, to cover their poor work of course- why have a paper trail of shoddy workmanship? Harry is a crook and one of the very best at lip service. He has a book of excuses he routinely uses with customers. He should've been a politician. Steve, their "ace mechanic" doesn't know what he is doing. Stay away from these jokers. "No refunds"...whether they fix your problem or not! That's how they roll at Viking. Once they have your money, you're screwed, regardless of the work they provided. They're the guys that give mechanics a bad name.

Took my BMW here and they did a great job. Very honest and reputable business. Would definitely use again. Harry was very kind and drove me to the car rental agency. Steve was kind enough to work after hours just to get my vehicle completed. Thank you so much Viking Auto

They got me in quick and worked on my truck until they found the answer. Other places told me the repairs would be over $3,000 (they misdiagnosed the problem) but Viking found the actual issue and it was muuuuuuch less than the original quote from the other place.Then, fast forward 6 months later.... They called me just to check in and make sure the repair was still holding strong! Great place!

Viking Auto was able to successfully diagnose the issue with my mother s vehicle, one that another shop attempted to sell fuel injectors. Turns out it was the PCM. Thanks again for taking care of my mother s car!

I wish I could give higher review then five. I took my car in this morning for an estimate after receiving an estimate last week of THOUSANDS to repair my ac. I was told my car had high miles and wasn't worth repairing even though I owe for another year. I've been driving my car with no ac since June & getting sick each time with the heat.Harry the owner was attentive and honest. He gave me an estimate of $850 so I sat in the shop and waited. Everyone that came in I overheard him be pleasant and polite with even one man that was rude and argumentative. Plus the bathroom was very clean.Viking and Harry were a real blessing to me today. Such a gentleman and honest!

The following review is in regards to my UHaul experience that this location houses, not their actual work with AC.Hands down the worst UHaul experience of my life. I got a 15 foot truck, with the full coverage insurance, added a few blankets and a dolly. That equalled out to $132.77, which was pricey, but reasonable. The check out process was pretty easy, I moved what I needed to and came back. Upon my return they told me to unload everything out of the back, which was weird because every other UHaul experience (and I ve had a lot) just mad me leave it in the back, and they dealt with it. So I take everything inside and they inform me there s a BLANKET FOLDING FEE?! How ridiculous. But I did it, then I go to leave. The man then told me I needed to put gas in the car, or I d be charged, which he did NOT mention when I checked out. So he tells me to fill up the truck, which was on a half tank, not full when I picked up the truck. I spent $77.17 to fill up the truck when I drove a total of 43.4 miles. I learn AFTER this man tells me to fill up the truck, that UHaul does not refund gas you put in if you put in too much. So this company stole about 15 gallons of gas from me after I put just over 18 gallons in, per the guy s request. They also boast to offer a military discount which they did not give to me. So in total, I spent $200.92 for driving 43.4 miles and for just over 2 hours.Save yourself the headache, and do NOT go here.

This is my second time l had them work on my car My first time was the battery. I had issues with my battery now. I have a leak.It was a pretty big job.It was a little costly but overall. I think they did good job.

Had the AC evaporator replaced on my 17 Maxima. It was a huge job and they were able to provide an accurate estimate and timeline for the repair. These people really know their stuff and treated us with kindness and respect.

Very great business and super welcoming staff with a variety of services. Staff was very knowledgeable of the work needed done. Found them online and they are one of the very few shops in town that was able to service my a/c system due to it being a more modern system. The service was great. Was informed about problem, cost and time frame of repair needed. True 2 their word was done in time they said and cost was exactly what they quoted me. No surprises here. Just good quality service all around. Am recommending Viking Auto Repair to my family and friends.I would definitely recommend them to anyone since they are one of the top auto repairs in town!Service: A/C installation & repair

Wow the customer service here is horrible ... (Reply to owner)The customer service from the start before my husband started working on his car on your lot. Let's not forget how you park your van aggressively by my husband's vehicle like you were going to hit it. And you kept approaching us multiple times aggressively. We were so much in fear for our lives that you were going to do something to us that we pushed our car off of your lot. You also have a receptionist that is not familiar with what is going on with any car that you service. As we were talkin to the reception is you were the one who approached us and then aggressively told us that you were doing with another customer then why start talkin to us. Let's not throw rocks and then hide our hands. I see why you only had two cars on your lot to be worked on. As a owner you need an attitude. No one goes anywhere. Also when you offered us to sit in your establishment you are being funny as you were watching us push our car off your lot to get away from you. So listen up people when people say the customer service was horrible we really mean it. They couldn't even give a simple estimate on the vehicle or estimated time of repair I had to push them to give me a repair date of a week for a eight-hour job. Take the L because your a horrible person . I should have looked at your reviews before I brought my car there that would have told me everything I need to know. But life goes on for me as beautiful as it is. Be blessed sir

Listen, Mr. Harry (The owner) and Mr. Steve (The head mechanic) really went above and beyond to troubleshoot and fix my unique electrical problem in my 92 Jeep Cherokee. They worked with me to the point where I truly felt like I was dealing with family & friends. I would not give a second of doubt to drop my car off with them again. I m telling you guys from my experience alone these other reviews badmouthing this business are simply not true and most likely fabricated stories. The office process was slow to check in my vehicle. When I was able to speak to the manager and mechanic they understood that I needed charging system troubleshooting. Gave me technical data after testing from which to make further evaluations. Was charged what I agreed to. Found manager to be honest and will definitely go here again.Service: Auto battery maintenance

I had a $2000 repair and not driving for 2 weeks and 220 mIles later. Return to because AC was blowing hot air again. They replaced high and low side valves and evaporated system and checked system for leaks at the first repair. And on next system check more leaks were discovered. Now another $727. Owner and mechanic were very rude and non caring. Owner would not take care over the phone like he did on first repair. Actually lied about. And would not bring truck from the back. And throw key to me. Mechanic is always up pushing fee for looking at your problem. Like business is just working for the $127 and not customer satisfaction. Business prefers to text repair order instead of discussing invoice. Owner sits in office and watch everything and won't come to helpass receptionist. Talks about customers after they leave with a very no care attitude. Owner reply proves exactly what I said. He will not tell the truth. Tech called and I informed him that wasn t with truck so didn t know if a tool was there or not because I dropped it off to get it repaired properly. Didn t want anything for nothing just wanted a honest place of business.

Very reputable shop that did a perfect job. No other shop would take a look at the electrical problem plaguing my older C4 Corvette, but Viking did. Gave me fair pricing expectations up front, and did a good job communicating. Even though my problem was an intermittent one (it would come and go), they tested it over and over until they could reproduce it. Final price was within $3 of the price I guessed, so, while they aren't cheap, they don't rip you off at all. You get what you pay for. Overall Viking is honest, knowledgeable, skilled, and professional

I have a 1974 BMW 2002 that was having electrical issues none of the lights would work. I brought it to Viking and they were very nice and professional, and even though my car is still a work in progress they treated my car as if it was fully restored and took great care of it. They also fixed the electrical problem and kept in good contact with us through the whole process. I would highly recommend them and they have got a customer for life now!

I put 1 star because they quote me very high price on putting a aftermarket headlight on my car they want 500 dollars just for labor alone . when other auto electrical shop is half of there price. the technician told me he will charge me 45 min of labor just to take out 1 of my headlight. I said omg I am not a technician in profession without power tools but I did take out 1 of my headlight in 10 to 15 min because there is only 3 bolts holding the headlight. Remember they are professional technician they do this for a living and they have power tools

Not only did Viking get my car's A/C fixed right, they stayed at work late to finish my car earlier than promised knowing that I was trying to leave town for an important road trip!
