After being a loyal customer of Tires Plus in the Harbour Village Plaza for more than 15 years, I had an experience yesterday that has diminished that loyalty, and I will no longer be buying tires there. I was really surprised that they would allow one of their representatives to be in a position dealing with customers that does not appreciate their business, nor seemed to really care at all about being there. I can say it had been a good 15-year experience, and it's sad that they would allow one person to represent their company in such a way, that he's driving away longtime loyal customers. Really disappointed in my last encounter with them, and that is literally the last encounter. There are way too many other tire companies up and down Atlantic Blvd to choose from, rather than be disrespected and unappreciated by a business.

Allison is awesome, genuinely courteous and a pleasure to talk with. You could not have a better point of contact for your customers. I would honestly bring my car in for service, whether it needed service or not, just to have her brighten up my day. That in no way means I don t respect the technicians, the work and turn around is impressive. This location and the one in Neptune Beach exclusively receive my business.

The crew at this store is excellent!! Micheal and Allison were great to work with. They gave me the best deal on tires. They even beat out Sam s Club and Costco and similar 80k tires.

The manager Michael is a great guy. This is the best Tires Plus in America. Good Customer Service is a rare thing these days and Michael is a true professional. It's a shame he's a Gator fan, but I'll forgive him for that.

Sold us $2,000.00 tires that were initially very noisy. We complained and they said they can do nothing. 10 months later worn out with around town easy driving on a Volvo XC60. They lasted 9k miles and would not give any credit or refund. Discount Tires is much better with customer satisfaction and service. They even give a refund if you are not satisfied with the tires. I called the manufacturer and they were helpful and sympathetic where Tires Plus could care less. Never again

Had a very unpleasant experience with your representative Ron, after being a loyal tires plus customer for 15 years I will no longer be buying tires from you. I was very surprised and disappointed from what I experienced, and I am going to be sharing my experience.

I always know that my truck will be taken care of. Tires Plus does what they say they will do when they say it will be done. Michael is very professional and a real pleasure to work with. Thanks for a great place and very accommodating staff and crew. Randy

Dishonest. I will get to that part. First I want to commend the female that works there. She knows her stuff and does an excellent job. I set my appointment up with her. Tires and brakes. When I got there another worker switched the sale from her to him. He didn t do anything and he stole her commission. When I saw her she pulled up the order and switched it back. So they put the tires on and called me about some items they found . They said my rear struts were leaking. They also said my rear brakes were seized up and I needed new calipers, new rotors, and pads. I declined the work, printed the TP quote, and took my vehicle to Honda. Honda said there is nothing wrong with anything on the list. Said the struts were fine (see pictures of bone dry struts) and the brakes looked like they were new all around. Tires Plus tried to rip me off for $2,200 for work that did not need to be preformed. I will never use them in the future. I hope the female mechanic finds a legit place to work.

The front desk lady was hot and polite; wanted to give her my ..... The work order was done in a timely manner. Prices okay. However, the chairs could use some dusting.

This is the absolute worst place that I ve ever been to for an auto repair. I took my car up there because my air conditioner was not blowing cold. It would go cold, and then it wouldn t go cold. I took it up there once they told me that it was the Compressor $1500 actually $1800 later a month later doing the same thing took it back another $300 then I took it up there today and they told me that it s gonna be another $1600 because it s another part that they needed which it s doing the exact same thing that it didn t. I took it to him the first time, do not use the store ever . I guess this is what they say when you go to a place and you re a woman and they take it vantage of you. I should ve read the reviews before I ever took my car there.Service: Air conditioning

Was quoted 60 bucks for synthetic oil change and 30 for tire patch. 60 bucks for the oil, 10 bucks for the filter. 7 bucks for labor 2 bucks for discharge. Absolutely nickel and dime to death. $30 for a tire patch. All ended up costing me 128 for everything. With all the fees and surcharges stay away from this place.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Went to replace all four of my tires. Dropped my car off at 9 a.m. to which the store manager told me that the car would be done at lunch time. When I came back at 2 p.m., they hadn't even started on the car. When asked when the car would be done, they simply said "I don't know" and couldn't give us an approximate time. When we told them we just want to put our old tires back on and not take their service, they said they could get the new tires on in 30 mins. What a joke. Terrible service and terrible quality. Would never return here.

Daughter dropped vehicle for oil change and lifetime balance and rotate (B&R). No call by end of day and when we called they were closed. Next day shop advised car was ready for pick up. Told daughter to confirm B&R was done. They decided B&R was not needed so not done. Advised shop to get it done. An hour later we received call from shop. Suddenly her 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe with 40K miles is running rough with a check engine light and for $80 they can diagnose but recommend $600 tune up and coils changed. I went with daughter to pick it up and check engine light was on but running fine. Took home and my scan tool shows a misfire on cylinder 1. Inspected the engine and found the engine cover loose and coil on cylinder one had dust smudged as if unplugged from spark plug (which would cause a misfire on cylinder 1) then pressed back onto spark plug. Unlike coils 2, 3, & 4. You tell me. Yes I made a video of it but cannot prove it, so.

I ve been bringing my car to TiresPlus for years without issue. I brought my car in due to a cracked rim and the issue was repaired, but I left with a new issue. After the repair, my TPMS sensor on the dash would not turn off. Come to find out from a different mechanic this is due to my valve/sensor being completely changed on my wheel during the repair. TiresPlus did not deny fault but made the decision to not replace the part and offered to install a new valve sensor for approximately $250 after labor costs ($80 part). From a business standpoint, enough time had passed for TiresPlus to reasonably turn down my request; however, from a customer standpoint, I expect a shop where I spend my money to correct their mistakes. Thousands are spent on car maintenance over the life of a vehicle, so save the headache and go to a shop who values their customers and stands behind their service.Updating in 2024. I purchased 2 tires in both 2019 and 2020 from TiresPlus. After taking my car to a new shop this year, I was advised my rear tires were nine years old. So, TiresPlus either replaced my 2019 tires in 2020 instead of my old tires, or put 4-5 year old tires on my car. Total scam of a shop. Avoid at all costs.

Last time I bring my vehicle here! I ve come in 4 or 5 other times as work on my truck gets expensive and they have a financing option through their credit card.Doesn t matter if I have an appointment or not. They take forever to do even the most minor work. Dropped the truck off for rotation and alignment at 11 with an appointment scheduled. Said I had to have it back by 4pm. Was told at 4pm they wouldn t have it ready for at least another 45 minutes. They ve held my car overnight on 3 separate occasions when they said they d have it ready same day 2 of these instances for nothing major like new tires or a tune-up.They tell you they ll call with updates and almost never do until the last minute or you show up.Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE else.UPDATE: They called me at 4:20 after an 11am drop off to tell me I need to get two new tires.DON T. BRING. YOUR. VEHICLE. HERE.

Allison came in the clutch! My mother broke down in Neptune beach and she lives in Palatka. It was almost 6 and needed some urgent help. Allison clearly had issues happening as some nut job was recording inside but she was there to help my 74 year old mother. I appreciate the assist Allison. Thank you again !

They quoted me $1240 for front and back brake pads and rotors! I was trying to be convenient and go somewhere close in the area. I decided to call my mechanic of record, Mark Howard Automotive. I had the work done for $740, tax and labor included, out of the door. Be forewarned, this place is across the street from Queens Harbor - a very affluent neighborhood. They don t have a problem charging these outrageous quotes, and I don t blame them. The usual clientele is likely someone who hears a squeak and can afford to drop by on the way out of their neighborhood to fix the problem no questions asked ($$$). Unfortunately, I m no dope. If you get an evaluation here, I would highly advise seeking a second quote elsewhere. It can t hurt. Two stars for great customer service, a free evaluation, and taking my car off of the ramps.

First experience seemed sketchy, which aligns with several other reviews on this location. My tires were a month and a half old when I brought my vehicle in for a flat repair. My tire had a screw in the tread. About 30 minutes after drop off, I got a call that the tire couldn't be repaired, and I would need a new tire. After telling them, it was a new tire, and that I would see if I could just fix it myself, the man who called me, told me to hold on while he double checks with the mechanic about fixing the tire. I showed up, and the tire was still on my vehicle, screw still in the tire. It would appear that they decided I needed a new tire before they even assessed the tire. I stood and watched the technician perform the flat repair from removing my tire to reinstalling it without any issue. Clearly a shady business trying to scam customers.

They have a solid staff and great mechanics. I would trust them to solve the root problem of my auto concerns and not just throw parts at the problem. Not the fastest service, but I understand quality work takes time. Thanks

Zero 0000 stars. I made a appointment and I had to wait 1 hour and a half just for alignment. And they recommended change parts when all of my components was almost new( I am 100% sure) I have been on 5 tires plus a this is the worst. Very unprofessional people. 8 minutes away from here there is another tires plus.

Greetings,First, I went to the regency store where store manager Russ gave me a set price for a lifetime alignment. Though, I could not get it done due to my car being lowered and their rack being above ground (will hit front bumper). Russ called Store manager Mike at the Queens Harbor location advising him in regards to the car and rack situation due to Mike s store having a in ground rack.Second, I went to Mike s store in which Mike refused to honor the price Russ provided me. Mike then gave me three excuses why he won t honor the price. I asked for Corperate number and left.Third, I called Russ advising him what happened. Russ advised me to call other stores and see if there is a in ground rack elsewhere. Russ did advise me if I removed front bumper, alignment can be done at his storeFourth, I called Tires Plus at the beach who advised me to call Firestone at the Town Center, they have a in ground rack.Fifth, I spoke to Mitch with Firestone who advised me they will honor the said price and affirmed they have a in ground rack. Mitch and the staff took care of me.Finally, I am submitting a complaint in regards to Mike not honoring the First cooperate price given to me.Thank you and have a wonderful day, and never stop at your First wrongful No .

Avoid this place, I have a truck and had been taking to them for oil changes and tires, rims and rotations. I scheduled an appointment and dropped off for rotation. I was told my truck would be completed in a couple hours they would call. Waited til an hour before closing and called. The guy Mike told be my truck was too big for them to rotate the tires. Well they did the last 4 rotations but today they had the lazy crew. It boils down to them not wanting to have to lift the 35 inch tires. And But when i was not immediately given a call when they decided they were not strong enough to pick up the tires and waited for me to call them is completely unprofessional. I will never use this place again

Don t go here. I brought my car in on Saturday 5/21 to have my ac fixed. Michael, the manager, told me it would be $2200 to fix my ac because it s a hybrid vehicle and they needed to order a new compressor. I thought that was kinda crazy high but I agreed and even applied for the tires plus credit card to pay for it. After waiting for the part to come in, a week later, they installed the new compressor and I paid using $1300 of the credit card and $800 out of my own pocket. Two days after they replaced my compressor, my ac went out again.I took it back up to the shop two weeks later and was told that they missed that a high pressure line went bad. I thought this meant they would replace the line for free since it s something they missed the first time, but of course not. They wanted me to pay another $552.53 to replace the part they missed last time.I refused and had to wait another week for Michael to come back from vacation so I could talk to him. After talking to Michael, the lowest he would come down was $161 to fix the ac that I already paid $2200 to fix the first time. He said it was something that just happens when replacing the ac and didn t want to hear it when I asked how they missed it the first time, giving excuses that it s a different part that broke due to the ac. I then had to wait another week for the high pressure line to come in. My ac was finally fixed on 6/25.I m beyond upset and will never return to a Tires Plus again. Will recommend everyone I know to go elsewhere. I feel scammed and emotionally drained. I feel wronged and now still have to pay $1300 on the credit card to a shop who has wronged me. If my ac break again in the next few days after being fixed like last time, I m seeking legal counsel.

Went in at 10 to have an alignment done. Was told it couldn't be done because of other work that needed to be done Not a problem all of the other work was covered under warranty gave the service mgr my full policy he told me he would call and get everything going should take an hour or so but it would be able to be fixed today I left hadn't heard anything for 3 hours so I called to check They claimed they tried to call several times and was on hold for over 30 mins and no one answered they had to leave a message. Insurance company said that's false their system will not allow you to be on hold that long. So I called and started the claim got a claim number and phone number for mgr to call. I called tires Plus back gave them all the info and Jessie said he would call them and give me a call back. At 5pm I still had not heard anything so I went up there to see what's going on. The man at the desk wasn't sure what I was talking about and said they needed to go over everything with me and they were waiting on approval. I called the insurance company to find out anything and the lady told me tires Plus never called and the only info they have is what I gave them that they were waiting on the repair shop to call. All the while Jessie had me waiting on his calls He had already gone home for the day and No one had a clue about my car. Needless to say their customer service is horrible!! I took my car elsewhere as I can't wait a week or 2 until they decide to call as more damage is being done driving the way it is!! DEFINITELY DON'T RECOMMEND!!!!

Could I give 0 stars? I can t even remember the last time I wrote a review. Probably in my hipster years when I thought my opinion was of paramount importance. But, the 5 minute experience I had here left such a bad taste in my mouth that I wanted to leave a review. Looking for new tires for my vehicle, and I have done a lot of research because they are expensive and this is a big purchase. I had settled on going to Costco because they were going to be the best deal. However, I talked with Dan at the tires plus in Neptune Beach. He went out of his way to research some tires for me and found me the best deal yet. But, when I went into the shop to order them I was told by another employee that they are special order and Dan wasn t available to order them. Ok, went about my other errands and ended up at the tires plus now in question. I walked in knowing exactly what I wanted and seeing if they could order it for me.Two men at the counter chatting with another male customer. Neither acknowledged me. The customer even apologized saying they were just chatting. The two employees still didn t acknowledge me. Ok waiting. Finally, Chris walks back to the counter and says, Yes. That s it. Yes. As though I was putting him out in some way by standing there. I responded, Hello, how are you? His response, Fine. Okidok. I see they did a detailed interview and found your people skills to be stellar Chris. I told him what tire I wanted, that it was special order. He said, he had never heard of that tire. Understandable, however, another tires plus down the road found it for me in the warehouse, so could you give it a try on that computer and look them up Chris? His first question was do I even know what tire size I need. Sure do Chris, a little ole woman like me even memorized that tire size. 255/75/17. He started clicking away. And then asked me do I even know why I wanted those tires. Yes, Chris I do. They have an excellent 60k mile warranty, a great tread rating, and they re a stinking good deal. Is that good enough reason Chris? His next misogynistic question was do I even have a vehicle that needs this kind of tire. Why yes Chris, I have a wrangler that I take off roading. I even know how to work that thing they call a clutch, and my four wheel drive apparatus isn t just for storing hair ties. He continued angrily clicking at the computer and told me he couldn t find them. Then just stared at me. Literally had no other response. Just stared at me. No opinions on what other tire he might have available to suit my needs or just the normal customer service spiel about how he was sorry he couldn t help me. Just stared. I said thank you, he didn t respond. And I walked out. Went back to the tires plus in Neptune and was helped immediately. My suggestion are as follows: 1. Run, do not walk, far from this place. 2. Tire kingdom in Neptune Beach is very helpful and great service (they just didn t have the right price for what I needed). 3. Or just buy your tires from Costco. You ll get a stinking good deal and not have to pay extra for a road warranty. How this place is still in business is beyond me. But, judging by the other poor reviews, they re holding on by a thread.

Couldn t be happier with the ease of making an appointment, keeping my appointment and getting me out very quick. Robert (front counter) was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their products and repair. The tech was quick and the service manager was quick to get my keys to the tech to get it knocked out.Definitely recommend this location and have already scheduled another appointment for a separate issue to be looked at.
