Pugh's Automotive performed excellent diagnostic / repairs on our 1957 Fairlane. Highly recommend their service to any old car enthusiast & owners. I ve used Pugh s services for many years now. First time was to get body work on my van after it was hit in a parking lot. They did a great job! Then they repaired my motors in both front windows. Both times I called ahead so they could order any needed parts before i brought in my van. The repair was done quickly and efficiently. The shop & waiting room are clean, as is the restroom. I have always spoken to Lee when arriving to get my van worked on. He s a wonderful asset to this shop. Always greets you with a smile, & doesn t talk down to you when explaining what is needed. More important he listens to you when you tell him what you believe you need. Make sure you walk through their car museum there are some really cool things to look at in there! So whether you have a repair needing to be fixed, routine maintenance, body work or if you need help restoring an antique car or truck, Lee and everyone else there will take great care of your car/truck/ or van.

Pughs service center is the best! They take great care of my work vehicle as well as my personal vehicle. I ve been using them for the last seven years. Not only do they take great care of my vehicles, but I am treated with kindness and respect. It s about relationships and not about just about money for them! Been trying to get my car looked at for over a year. Every time I call or go up there I'm told a few more weeks or another month. A friend of the owners recommended the shop however if the quality of the work is anything like their word then it's probably god telling me not to use them. Hope this review helps someone else.

I needed a bearing replaced on short notice and a friend recommended that I contact Lee at Pugh s. He was able to get the part in ASAP and accommodate my loose travel schedule to get my vehicle in, fixed and back on the road. Amazing customer service all around the shop and very friend people. By far the best mechanic I ve been to. They re very respectful and are always more than willing to work with you no matter the job.I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a long term mechanic shop. They already know they have a customer for life(or as long as we live in Jacksonville!).I ve never dealt with any of the typical mechanic shop bullsh!t you expect. Fantastic shop! Very knowledgeable and quotes are dead on. Very friendly staff and Lee has always been a pleasure to work with. I always bring my son because they have a lot of amazing vehicles on display as well as a personal collection you can view. My son loves coming and looking at the cars. Highly recommend this shop. Highly recommend. Guys rebuilt a heavy duty Allison transmission for me in a M35A3 military 6 wheel drive truck in 2 days! Dropped off Wednesday at closing time, they were done Friday by 1. Fantastic job on a difficult project. Went above and beyond expectations, both in quality, service, and price. They were 20% less than the competition, who we had a commercial account with! They've earned my business from now on. It's not convenient, as my shop is across the world, but the work is worth the drive. Talk to Andrew, or Lee to get you back on the road. Great job guys!

Lee is a awesome guy. They might not be the cheapest shop but when you leave you know your car is %100 road ready and they won't try in sell you stuff you don't need. I've had small stuff like a tune up done all the way to a full motor swap and I've been happy every time they have worked on my vehicle. They are the only shop that has worked on my vehicles for the past 5 years and that won't change as long as they are still in business.

After about a year of experience, I can say these guys are awesome. Lee is a straightshooter and always tells me what he recommends fixing and what's not worth it. We have a 2002 Jeep Liberty (150k), a 2011 Accord (125k) and a 2012 F150 (220k). Pugh's keeps them running like tops. They have solved issues other mechanics couldn't and their prices are very fair. Highly recommend; A++++

Such a hassle free experience. For someone who barely knows anything about cars, the staff there was very helpful. They explained to me what was going on, and helped me understand without making it seem above my head. They were concerned with my well being, and checked in with me every day they had my car while it was being serviced. Highly recommendable, and the prices are great!

This place is awesome! Myself and my husband are from Philly we came to Jacksonville to visit on our way back to philly our spark plugs went bad. My husband is a mechanic and he fixed three out of the four but the last one was stuck. With open arms and genuine mind sets these guys with no hesitation literally helped out. WITHOUT CHARGE! I was quoted between $200 and $300 at 4 different places. They really are amazing people, please stop by and see them! Any issues problems let them help you! WE MADE SURE WE TOOK CARE OF THEM but the owner refused to take it. COME BY AND SEE THEM NOW! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Be a blessing And be blessed

My Dodge Ram had a really strange starting problem. It was very difficult to troubleshoot and I was freaking out a little bit. But Lee, Johnny and the rest of the crew at Pugh s kept at it and they figured it out. I appreciate their diligence, patience and the fact that they understood how important it was for me (as a working person) to have a vehicle I can trust. These dudes are great!

You cannot go wrong with this place! I have been taking my car here for quite some time and I am always pleased. This says alot because I am very picky about mechanics. It doesnt hurt that they are very friendly and customer service driven. And as a woman, I feel that they dont try to knock me over the head with the prices. The prices are always fair. This shop beats those franchise car repair businesses by far. Keep up the great work guys!

Everyone in this establishment was so kind and helpful from the owner, to the servicemen and office! Lee was so fun and knowledgeable, such awesome customer communication! The price was great, the customer service was excellent and the work was extraordinary!!! This will be my family auto shop moving forward. I have nothing but positive comments about this place.

I came here due to a light illuminated on my 2010 Nissan Altima reads transmission module circuit code. This was the second shop that I went to upon learning from the first shop that they don't work on Altimas. Pughs I'm very sure is a awesome shop but didn't take the time to troubleshoot the problem that i had. The wonderful people here and for me that I will either need a new transmission or rebuilt transmission and furthering investigating my error code I took it to a third shop which was Clay County Transmissions it was there that they discovered that my battery terminal to my vehicle wasn't properly tighten which was causing the voltage to misfire and send error codes. I was very close to looking for another vehicle as a replacement this weekend but I'm glad I didn't. Folks I'm just saying get opinions after opinions don't rely on just one auto shop to tell you what the issue is. I saved myself a new transmission... I will say this Pugh's have number one top service they're wonderful people they're busy people just please take time out and be thorough with your customers

Great place and great mechanics i love these guys , if u have an older model car they know there stuff . They have taken great care of my cars . If you have a newer car they can fix that also I highly recommend them

I took my honda pilot in for a timing belt replacement and the service was great my belt was in need of replacing and they stayed lower than the quoted price and my car is in great shape now its not making any more noises and my car has the pick up it should have now. if you want a good honest repair shop with prices lower than the dealership go to pughs they will treat you right all the way around i know thats the only place i will be using .thanks alot guys the car is doing great.

I had my transmission rebuilt in May 2018 for$2500 and 30000 miles later I'm having to have it done again. I had my vehicle back in 23 hours so IDK other than they're not doing it again!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission
